The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bentley Ridge
Do not rent an apartment here. A townhouse might be okay though. The apartments are old with a thin floor between yourself and the neighbors above or below you. The result is you hear everything. You will also hear your neighbors through the walls. I had to buy noise cancellation headphones to get by. It was distressing to live here. Otherwise, the scenery outside is pretty and the track around the property is nice to walk around. It is just all ruined by the noise in the apartments though.
We moved in sight-unseen to Bentley Ridge because of the pandemic and have absolutely no regrets. Staff & maintenance are quick to reply to messages and requests. The amenities in the community - pool, gym, walking path, monthly activities, garden plots, car & vacuum station, dog park, etc have made our experience here delightful. There is a reason the apartments get rented quickly.
The grounds are beautiful! Staff is excellent and quick to respond to questions and repair requests. Great location. We love it.
Throughout the whole process of finding a place, Amanda from the office was great to work with, very responsive and the best customer service I received out of the complexes I reached out to. Friendly and clean community with lots around, very close to main shopping centers and bars/restaurants. My apartment was SPOTLESS when I moved in, super super clean.
If noise, smoke, and mold aren't a concern for you, then this review isn't going to help much. The apartments are nice enough, this property is best described as "Renter Beware." Read the lease agreement very carefully before you sign it, because it's incredibly invasive. Of course, management simply chooses not to enforce portions of it that are inconvenient, and attempt to persuade you to move instead. As an example: the lease says they'll quickly solve issues with nuisance animals. But our neighbor's dog barks for hours at a time most days. But the management team has put more effort into encouraging us to leave (we'll waive the penalty if you break your lease) than resolving the issue, and the dog is still barking as I type this. Even without the barking the noise is still considerable. The wood construction readily carries noise between apartments - and not just adjacent units. We live in a first floor apartment in their newest building, and every day we can hear every movement of our 3rd floor neighbors. And finally, we reported a mold problem when we first moved in. We were told by management that, "Mold doesn't have a smell." This is not true. Mold often has a musty, earthy smell. We were told, "we looked at your bathroom, and we didn't see mold, so you don't have any." This is also incorrect. Mold can hide beneath the paint, behind the drywall, and above the ceiling. We had to buy a dehumidifier to keep the room dry enough to reduce the smell. Finally, though we live in a "completely smoke free building," the grounds around the "smoke free" building are constantly littered with cigarettes. When we reported this, we were met with disbelief, but then a flier went out reminding everyone that the area was smoke free. New cigarette butts continue to appear. Do yourself a favor and think twice before moving here.
The sound proofing and enforcement of the quiet hours are nonexistent, police in the area don't care and just caused more problems for me. Do not have them do the carpet cleaning on move out, they will charge you an unreasonable amount. Their staff is not flexible for maintenance so if you work normal hours and want to me home when a stranger is in your home, look elsewhere. The reason they are getting two stars instead of one is because they let me out of my lease 3 months early due to neighbor harassment. In good news, they don't know what a pitbull looks like so they aren't actually conforming to that part of the lease.
LOVE it here! Quiet, park-like setting with plenty of parking and dog friendly-what could be better? The townhouse is perfect for us, we are living on one floor but have the 2nd bedroom upstairs as an office and ready for the kids and grand-kids to visit. The vaulted ceilings and windows give you the sensation of plenty of space. Access to two pools (one indoors), exercise rooms, dog park, car wash, and walking trails through rural Lancaster County are just a few of the amenities that make Bentley Ridge perfect!
I absolutely love it her. It's well kept and maintained. They have a lot of emenity's dog park, 1mile long walking path, swimming pool, community room and a wrapping station for gifs. They also have another complex down the road( Greenfield Estates )which has a indoor swimming pool that we can go to. People are very friendly and the highway is just down the road so to go in town it takes about 12 minutes. I highly recommend Bentley Ridge.
Ok but the rent is not worth the condition of the building
I absolutely love the apartment. I came from an apartment that had mold an from that I got very sick. This apartment that I got is like heaven. They have so much amenity's. They have a gift wrapping station, a dog park, swimming pool, car wash, community room and they even have a one mile walking trail. The location is close to shopping and the highway is right down the road. the community is well maintained and the staff is wonderful.
Really like the place and the right rent for a 3 bedroom. Have this place on my list.
I am still currently looking at apartments, but Bentley Ridge is still on the top of my list. I really do enjoy the quality of the homes and could see myself living here one day.
When I started looking for an apartment I wanted to find something relatively close to where I work and have a bit of a country feel setting. Bentley Ridge provides all of that. It's close to where I work and the city, but is set back far enough that the surrounding country side is the perfect setting, especially when walking on their walking trail. Besides meeting all of my needs and hopes in my search, I was drawn to this place by the friendliness of the community, and the amazing amenities. It is a great place to live, especially if you want a community feel in a rural setting.
Beautiful setting, attractive apartments, everything you need, understanding, infromative staff. Need to work on my credit a little to get in, but on my list of places to definitely feel content.
The location of the community is great. It is minutes away from local police station, shopping outlets, stores, dinning, and entertainment. The staff on hand is great at helping you with whatever you need. The grounds crew maintains the location very well. Snow removal was very prompt and had no problems driving threw the development. The pool is a very nice size and its great you can take friends with. The gym is open 24 hours so its nice if i work late that i can sill go work out a short walk from my house. It is a very nice neighborhood to raise kids, or for a couple just starting out. Im very happy with my choice to live in the quiet neighborhood!
