Bell Preston Reserve

My husband and I moved into BPR last March. During this first year, we have had to adjust to apartment living—not easy after owning our own home. Now, we can't imagine calling any other place our home. There is so much to appreciate here: the location, the comfortable and spacious apartments that have character and garages, the neighbors, the community manager who addresses our concerns personally, and last but not least, the maintenance team. When you live in an older apartment complex, you need a top-notch team to help you take care of your apartment. After multiple visits to other apartment complexes in the Greater Cary area last year, we are so happy we found BPR and stayed!

This year Bell Preston is mandating or enforcing to pay $5 package service charges monthly which is on top of the parcel pending subscription not sure why they want to do that, it is inconvenient service, I have lost a couple of parcels in this process rather delivering at the door step. Also, they have increased pest control services from $3 to $5 monthly which is hardly done unless been told to. They keep on adding some or other charges outside the base rent.

I love it here because it's VERY safe, good diversity and convenient to so many venues.

Usually staff is quite attentive. However, of late no repose to my requests.

The staff is very nice and the maintenance is very quick to get things fixed. The complex is in a very nice location, easy to get to a lot of places. BUT... make sure to see the apartment in person. The exterior really is pretty nice, the folks in the complex are all ranges of ages. The interior is much better in the pictures and the appliances are pretty dated. Also, if you're in the units facing the parkway be warned, between 7:30-8pm its pretty busy and noisy, with the random cars with people compensating for their short comings blasting by. If you're the type to have your windows open at night, you definitely should look towards the interior of the complex. Its loud enough we knew we had to move after moving in from out of town. Also, from our experience, after moving in, it was a series of fixes of things that were not done before we moved in.

Overall, community is pretty and perfect area. Bt, inside of it wasn't as expected. Never book an apartment without an in person tour.

We've been here for 2-1/2 years and really like it. Nice community, great facilities. Maintenance response and quality is excellent.

The leasing office is the best they are super friendly and very helpful I had some noise issues with some tenants they would call the tenants each time I complained. The grounds are very beautiful and kept well….

Lovely place to live in the center of everything. Brand new gym, great pool, car wash, spacious units and neatly manicured grounds. Less then a mile from Park West Village Shopping Center, every market including Trader Joe’s, two movie theaters, medical offices, greenways, fitness centers and a diverse assortment of restaurants. The staff is awesome and I bet you think I’m being paid to say this, but I’m not. I’m just a very happy four year resident!

Bell Preston is in a beautiful area and the buildings are nice however, the rodent issue seems to be out of control despite management's best efforts and some visits from Terminix. It is frustrating to pay this much for rent and not be able to resolve ongoing rodent, spider, worm, and roach problems. I am just hanging in there because I don't have anyplace else to go now but it is too expensive to have to just deal with these types of ongoing issues.

Loud neighbors and uncommunicative staff. Don't be fooled by ultra modern lobby. Paper thin ceilings/floors made the residents above us sound as a herd of elephants was plodding about. Paper thin walls made the residents snoring on the other side of the bedroom wall sound as there was a saw mill running all night. Three instances of cockroaches in the apartment were experienced in a 3 month residence. In our case all 6 air conditioner condensers were just outside the dining room window, loud and obnoxious eyesore, also made the patio unusable. Upstairs residents smoking habits allowed for a nice layer of cigarette ash to be consistently covering out patio furniture. A centrally located playground/basketball court made the loud screeching sounds of children audible throughout the complex. An agreement to allow us out of the lease if the apartment was rented was made, end of July we received a message that the apartment was rented and we were off the hook (happily so). Mid August we received an email requesting that months payment, apparently the renter canceled but we were not made aware of this fact as "there was not a note in the file to contact us". Bad policy, needs to be updated, contact everyone that will soon be owing you $1154. If you are looking for a place to stay please look elsewhere as you wont be happy here. The best part of this apartment experience was leaving and not looking back.

Bell Preston Reserve provides the very best of all worlds. Perfectly located, within a mile of restaurants, shopping, and markets. The staff is wonderful and complex has the latest amenities. The units are spacious with plenty of storage, sunlight and upgraded kitchens.

I love my apartment and love living in this community however my air conditioner has not worked properly since moving in a year ago. staff were rude and made ridiculous statements and talking down to me.

We like the actual apartment but have low confidence in maintenance given our history with them and if you live on the first floor the noise is unbearable when upstairs neighbors are simply walking around.

Ive lived here for over three years and I love it. Its peaceful, the grounds are kept nice, all the staff here is accommodating and friendly. Theres a pool, new gym, and car wash on the premises. Its surrounded by greenways, great schools and places of worship. And shopping is less than a mile away.

Excellent customer service and maintenance for that reason Ive been living here for 6 years.

Awesome community. The ofc mgr and all staff have always been very responsive to any questions or concerns we have ever had in our 3 years here; the community is in a great location; beautifully landscaped and maintained; units have new appliances and finishes. The leasing ofc and clubhouse are breathtaking; the amenities are fabulous and new and maintained!

Bell Preston is a quiet and nice place to live in. The surroundings are well maintained and tickets raised for issues within the apartment are attended to at the earliest possible. It is also safe for my kids to move around on their own.

I enjoy having a nice place to call home, and currently it meets my residential needs. The staff is accommodating regardless the concern.

We couldn't be happier about our move to Bell Preston. The entire community is very attractive and well maintained on a regular basis. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The location is ideal, with all sorts of shops, restaurants and medical facilities within just a few minutes of travel.

Very calm and peaceful place to reside.

Quiet apartment complex with friendly neighbors. Parking is terrible and non-emergency maintenance is about a weeks wait. Only one trash bin for complex, so it frequently looks and smells terrible. Dog waste bags take a long time to get refilled when they run out.

Have only been here a short time, but really enjoying it.

I appreciate all the community staff and how hard they work to make our home here nice.

Very positive experience in our year living here. The two story one bedroom is beautiful, maintenance staff is great in the few times weve needed them, and I have only had an issue with parking once or twice, which means I didnt get a spot right in front of my building and had to take a short walk which is not a problem for me.

Price is high for the things you get. The parking is horrible. Theres a bunch of cars for barely any parking spaces.

Very nice community. Even though I only met one neighbor so far, I feel cozy knowing I have people around me. Ive been a widow for Four years and I finally dont feel so alone.

Ive been living here for a week and I have met a couple of neighbors already. Very nice people! The ladies in the office have made my transition into my new home very pleasant. Im going to really enjoy my new home at Bell Preston Reserve.
