Property Ratings at Beacon Lake Lanier
The houses are cheaply made for the rent they charge (doors falling off hinges or appliances breaking down). They will raise the rent after the first year 5-6X higher than a normal rent increase. They don't enforce any community rules, like parking in the street or trash cans stowed away properly. Despite maintenance responding quickly to issues, the fix is usually temporary or not adequate. Renters pay an additional cost monthly for lawn care, however that is practically non existent or done hastily. And they don't respond back to their residents.
No one will ever take your call or return your call. I guess they don't have a maintenance crew to fix things that should have been working. Would not recommend this community if you are looking for one that is professionally managed.
My experience here at the Beacon has been great… But let’s talk about the maintenance team. To call out someone specifically, Clif has been a huge lifesaver since we’ve moved in. One night a couple days before Thanksgiving our refrigerator went out. I put in a service request at 10:30 PM and at 10:45 PM I get a call from Clif saying he was on his way with a cooler a couple bags of ice he purchased at a gas station and a solution on how we can get that fridge replaced before Thanksgiving. On top of the refrigerator issue, we’ve had a few issues here and there but Clif made sure to make us a priority to get things handled as quickly as possible. Without an employee like Clif, I do not know what we do in certain situations. Clif is the definition of customer service and he is definitely the definition of customer satisfaction. Thank you Clif for everything that you have done to make our experience here at the Beacon so great!
I love living here! It’s safe, quiet, and the staff is very professional! Cliff goes over and beyond to satisfy the tenants! My family is extremely grateful for him!!
Great community love that it feels like home and is close to a lot of things without being in the mirror traffic. Friendly staff. Cliff the maintenance guy is awesome. Goes above and beyond and he always has a smile on his face.
The office is so nice and helpful and they have really pretty floorplans with a lot of space! Will definitely be moving here!
Rent is expensive, but houses are cheaply built. Corners cut during construction, lots of mistake, and cheap appliances. And the staff are NOT helpful. Save yourself some trouble, live elsewhere.
Houses and appliances are poor quality. And expect to have their team access and walk through your house every 2-3 weeks for “inspections”, even though we are still in the middle of pandemic. It’s intrusive and unnecessary.
I love the open floorplans. Close to the lake and very friendly professional team.
