This complex is so beautiful. The pictures on their websites are amazing but in person is even better. The front office is super nice and made me feel so welcomed. Would recommend going to check these apartments out!

Honestly between the office staff and maintenance team I have never been happier. They are amazing at handling any issues in a timely manner. They are always happy to help and answer questions. The maintenance guys genuinely care. They have treated my apt as if they lived here. They are clean, courteous, and put a smile on my face knowing if I have any issues they will be resolved. The office staff is just as amazing. Couldn’t be happier to call this my home.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! My overwhelmingly positive experience at Beacon 601 on South Alma School has prompted me to share my thoughts. From the office staff's unparalleled kindness and efficiency to the swift and competent maintenance team, every aspect of service here has been stellar. The staff, and specifically Taylor, are always ready with a smile and are exceptionally helpful, making every interaction smooth and reassuring. I have not had a single issue with them or any resident! The apartments are equipped with modern, fully functional appliances and the added security of Ring cameras at each entry, enhancing both convenience and safety. The community atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, fostered by friendly neighbors who make this place feel truly like home. A heartfelt thanks to everyone at Beacon 101 on South Alma School for making this the best living experience I've ever had. Also shout out to Jason and Robert those guys work really hard and are always helpful when it comes to anything maintenance. (P.S. there are grills so if you like to grill this place is even better! Also sometimes the office does giveaways!!!! we were able to go to the Diamond backs games because of the awesome staff!)

I been here over a year now. Everyone in the office is great people. They do what they can to make the residents happy. Every time I walked in the office everyone welcomes you and very nice. The grounds is well kept up. I feel bad for the maintenance that has to pick up other people's animal poop when they get here in the mornings bc some pet owners are lazy but maintenance does great keeping it cleaned up. My first few things I look for when I research for an apartment is how good is the maintenance and if it's bug free. The maintenance is great and fast when things need to be fixed. Maintenance man Mike is awesome. He always comes with the most friendly attitude. When he comes to fix something I NEVER get a feeling he hates his job nor make me feel like I'm bothering him. He came to fix something that I put a work order in and my refrigerator light was out yesterday and I didn't put a work order in yet. So I mentioned it to him when he came to fix something else and he had no problem going to get me a light bulb for the refrigerator even though I didn't put the work order in for it yet. Now the bugs. I mentioned before I been here over a year and NEVER had bug issues and that's a big PLUS. The dumpsters is never overflowing onto the ground. They only complaint I have is there is only one covered parking space assigned to one apartment. Any additional vehicle has to fight to find an uncovered parking and don't leave out back out of you are lucky to get uncovered parking bc it will not be available when you come back. This is an issue when me and my husband has 2 vehicles. I let him take the covered assign parking bc he doesn't get off work til later on in the evening and there is no uncovered parking left for him to park inside the apartment ground. I have to park in an uncovered parking bc there is one available when I get off work in the morning. Now if I want to leave out and go somewhere in the evening when people are coming home, I have to worry if I'm going to find an uncovered parking available. If not then I have to park outside the apartment on the side of the road which I saw cars with citations on their vehicle when parked on the side of the road. I would be nervous having my vehicle outside the apartment. 3 star bc of the parking issue.

I moved here from California a couple weeks ago, I've seen some reviews of other apartments having bad office staff, not here. The ladies in the office were very helpful from the apartment showing, all the way up to and after move-in. When there were a few minor repairs I needed upon move-in, they were handled within a couple days. The maintenance guys are also great, real solid dudes. Love this place so far, and at a fraction of California prices, there are literally 0 complaints.

Maintenance team is always doing morning clean up of the pool, outdoor gym area. Also when my A/C broke they were in my apartment within an hour replacing the broken part and had it up within 2 hours of the maintenance request being submitted!

I moved to Mesa, AZ from California in July to escape rising costs of living, taxes, corrupt politics and medical tyranny. I have spent a fair amount of time in AZ and plan to live here for the foreseeable future - don't worry, I won't "California your Arizona"! The Leasing Manager was friendly and communicative from the beginning. All of the office staff are friendly and accommodating. I find the apartment's online portal handy for rent payments and maintenance requests. Maintenance crew is also helpful and friendly. Residents are friendly, I haven't had any issues with noisy or rude neighbors, everyone is decent. I haven't experienced any pest issues inside. My one complaint is like others have mentioned, there is a fair amount of dog poo on the grassy areas, so I just stay on the concrete - I'm not sure if Management is even aware if no one is reporting it, I haven't reported it because it hasn't really bothered me and I figure it's just too difficult to constantly enforce the pet waste rules. Some people are just inconsiderate! The pool area is very nice, the Amazon locker is handy and the gym is decent, though small, has the basics. Plenty of parking and optional assigned parking. They make an effort to please residents and there are always resident events, food trucks, raffles, etc and they offer a VIP discount program for local businesses. Overall I would definitely recommend Beacon at 601!

I love living at Beacon. I always feel comfortable, the 24/7 package lockers are so convenient, the office staff is always delightful to work with and maintenance is always timely for my service requests. This community has me as a resident for a long time!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever rented from! They claim they clean the apartment before you begin your lease but they don’t. They give residents the right to tow your car without contacting you. There is dog poop everywhere! Management is the worst. Wish I never rented here.

Each home is cleaned by a cleaning company prior to move in so we are sorry to hear that this is not as it seemed. Residents are able to reserve a VIP spot, that they pay for, so they have the authorization to remove a car in their paid spot. We are very transparent about our parking policies and do offer different parking options in hopes to meet all resident needs. We appreciate your bringing these points to our attention and will continue to strive to give the best service here at Beacon!
The place is nice, but their is some big downs about it as well. First off, parking is a nightmare. You have to request for parking spots and it adds to the rent per spot. If you live in the buildings closest to Alma School your petty much screwed. Fellow residents battle for spots some of them aren’t nice about it. We’ve seen some altercations about it. Also, be sure when your applying clarify which unit type your getting! During our tour we were told we were getting a private balcony but that didn’t happen. We got a whole different type of unit. Finally, security is very low. Some scary people walk through the property try to avoid leaving valuables in your vehicle. So if your planning on renting take a good look around.

We try to offer these different options so residents are able to pick which they are comfortable with. We do have a model home here in our community that is often toured, we strive to make clear that the apartments do vary based on which particular home, we are so sorry to hear there was some confusion with this at the time of your application and move in! Our entire team does stay aware of happenings in the community, as well as non-residents that may pass through, we are quick to act anytime we are made aware of this and always appreciate it being brought to our attention. This apartment complex is definitely a Ok place to live. I personally had to call multiple times to get bugs cleaned from my front door and they still were not cleaned, even though I pay a monthly fee for pest control I still get bugs in and outside my apartment. The nice pool in the pictures is only nice on the outside, when you are in the pool there is almost always hair floating around you and getting on you and dirt in the pool. The parking situation is a disaster, there is not enough parking in the front of the complex and I personally always have to park in the back and take a long walk to my apartment in the front, and unless you are willing to pay extra a month you do not have an assigned parking spot. Also there is people in my area who play loud music all the time and either keeps us up at night or wakes us up in the morning. Natasha helped us out and she was the best apartment agent I have had she was very attentive and super sweet, she always kept us updated on different apartments that were available when we were looking.

Don't live here. You can hear every neighbor and management wont disclose that when showing. They purposefully show a space that doesn't have anyone above or below. When you move in, you either hear your neighbor walking and watching tv, etc, or you're the one making noise. Also it took 6 months after moving in to even get a parking spot when there were several available. Frony office is fake and thats blatantly obvious they are just a bunch of mean girls who don't know how to manage a property. Save yourself and refrain from renting from here. If i could rate zero stars, I would.

I lived here for a year and a half. I am so impressed by the staff that remembers your name, maintenance and upkeep is 5 star, they host food vendors with great dinner deals, the pool, the hot tub, the gas grill and entertainment areas, in-unit laundry, hammocks, a gym and pet friendly apartments and dog park. The neighborhood is quiet and a great central location of you have friends in Gilbert, Scottsdale or Chandler. This part of Mesa is improving and I always felt safe. There's security and comfort at the Beacon at 601 complex. The neighbors are friendly and quite. The price is right. Check it out!

My husband and I have lived at Beacon for over a year, and we really enjoy living here! Some Pros: Fast appliance service (the day of or after, depending if it's an emergency or not), dog park, friendly environment, bug free rooms (though we do live on the 3rd floor), plenty of picnic spots, grilling area, updated pool and spa, fun hammocks, both an indoor gym and an outdoor cross fit area, nearby park; you live really close to the 60, there's fun games, activities, and restaurant visits at the complex, and we have the best management ever (seriously, no complaints! The staff is so nice and helpful). Some Cons: Parking is poor. It feels like a competition to get a good spot which isn't far away. The water often gets shut off, mostly with alerts in advance, but there have been few times when they forgot to let us know. Other than that, it is a great place to live and I'd recommend it!

I'm new to Arizona just moved here in December. My apartment search lead me to Beacon at 601. The apartment listing photos look too good to be true I had to see for myself. As soon as I arrive the staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly. When I saw the apartment I fell in love instantly it was exactly like the photo and I knew I was home. The office staff and maintenance are awesome They Know You by name which helps a lot when you're away from home. I smile when I come home because it feels like I'm living in a resort... everything is so new and clean.

This place is absolutely the worst place I have ever lived in and I've lived in some pretty run down, crappy apartments. I have never written a review for ANYTHING, but I will go out of my way to write a review for this place to help people STAY AWAY!!! First of all, as other people have mentioned the place is INFESTED with flies and cockroaches. I don't mean just inside the apartments... even if you're walking to your car there are SWARMS of flies and giant cockroaches all over the sidewalks. Secondly, this place only LOOKS nice. The first week of my move-in I quickly realized the new appliances were the cheapest things I have ever dealt with in my life. I have had THREE refrigerator replacements in the past TWO years I have lived here. I have had hundreds of dollars worth of food go bad because of this. My tub started PEELING after the first week because I found out some genius just PAINTED IT to make it look new. So, I've been bathing in constant chippings of paint. Speaking of baths... do you enjoy having tap water? Taking showers? Doing dishes? Taking a poop in your own apartment and being able to flush? Well, not at this place! It's like living in a third world country, and I'm speaking from experience! They shut the water off ALL THE TIME. If not daily, then every other day. Sometimes they tell you, sometimes they don't! As I'm currently sitting here writing this, I have no water yet again! It's 4PM ON A SUNDAY. I have no idea when it will be back on and the people working at the office have a habit of never picking up the phone. FOR GOD'S SAKE DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will quickly regret it, I promise. The pennies that you will save with the price will not be worth how much money you will lose in towing prices, pest control products, and lost food if you get the same crappy refrigerators I did.

My boyfriend and I moved into these apartments in May of 2016, and we were very much in love. Safe community and nice neighbors but moderately overpriced for the quality. (1 bed 1 bath). After a few months, we noticed maintenance put together our apartment in a really sloppy manner. Using thumb-tacks instead of nails, terrible weather stripping(making for $200 electric bills), water stains on the ceiling, electrical plugs painted over, ect.We have even been waiting 3 weeks just for our air filters to be replaced. We were also unhappy with our water being shut off multiple times a month due to "emergency maintenance". It was fine the first few times, especially because we got text alerts. In the month of September, our water was shut off at least four times without notification. Finally today after two days in a row of not being notified to an "emergency shut off" I am furious. Also, our air conditioning has broken three times, and it's gotten to 97 degrees in the apartment, with a 48 hour response time from "emergency maintenance" this last time. We had to open our doors and let the 96 degree weather into our house just so it wouldn't get above 100. This is absolutely unacceptable. Management has always tried their best to help, but some employees just don't seem to care. Also this past week I watched a Maintenance staff employee hit a residents car! The residents I have spoken to have a very similar experience as we did. We have been living here about six months out of our year contract and I can't wait to move. We have been extremely patient but I think it's fair to say I would not recommend anyone.
