Ayrsley Lofts

I have lived here since 2014 and have watched this place fall apart in the last few years. I switched to another apartment in 2017 and had leaks that left my floors coming up and the walls falling apart. This issue along with others have been reported to the management companies with each turnover. Yes I resigned a lease each time (stupid me) as I was told "I am not like the last person we will take care of this" then crickets. They talk a great talk but there is ZERO follow through and each time want to blame it on someone else. I even have an email as to when they were supposed to fix it but never did. Now let's talk about the trash/garbage bags left in the stairwells (that supposedly is walked each day by maintenance) that sits for days with dirty diapers at times. If you love roaches and other bugs this is your place, dead and alive they are plentiful. And also left for weeks before cleaned up. Also, if you like the ode de parfum of weed you can get that too here. Car break ins are also a common place with glass on the parking deck and garbage there too. Now will say my issues is with the management company not the support staff. Always friendly and probably one of the reasons I have stayed after this many years like moving out on family. I am truly sad it came to this, but I don't have any hopes of it getting any better with all the empty promises and attitudes even with this new management company that has done nothing in the year + they have been here. Just walk away there are so many better places out there.

This place is a dump. The new/current management is the worst. The surrounding community - Ayrsley - is lovely and walkable. It's just the apartment complex and the staff that make living here unbearable and not desirable which is a shame. The staff is nice nasty and take no accountability. The apartment is dated and needs repairs. Maintenance will fix immediate issues, but subsequent work takes weeks to resolve. Huge roaches even after pest control services, pet waste stations overflowing, lost packages, lost rental payments, the list goes on and on. Save yourself the headache and move somewhere else!

My car was broken into this morning. Was parked at the top of of the parking garage, right next to the security vehicle. Apparently, multiple break ins in the past few month. Other than that, nice property.

Ayrsley Lofts is awesome! It’s a great community that has an awesome staff who cares and is super well located!

Maintenance team is amazing, Hana always has a smile but ownership and upper management either refuse to fix things at all or spend more money nickle and diming issues (instead of fixing correctly the first time) and leaves a lot to be desired at the complex. Rent continues to outpace promises of great things to come but may lose residents before then.

So far I have really enjoyed my experience here. The property manager Jonathan is just wonderful and resolves any issues quickly and efficiently. Super friendly environment and maintenance staff are awesome too. Any issue I have had has been resolved promptly.

I’ve lived in Ayrsley for over 5 years and although there’s been changes, the staff in the property office have always been very courteous and professional. Anytime I’ve put in maintenance requests they were right on it and got in done expediently and well. Prior to Covid The Ayrsley management used to have public events every month, so it was a joy having that…We also used to have a perk card that gave us discounts many venders don’t honor it any more I hope they bring all that back again it made living here more beneficial. We do however have live band events which are really cool.

Ayrsley Lofts offers affordable yet updated, luxurious, modern living spaces with convenient retail, dining, and entertainment access at your fingertips.

Good for the price, super loud on the weekends due to location.

Building and staff & maintenance are wonderful. But not the elevator area. I feel safe living here.

So far I really enjoy living here at Ayrsley Lofts. I had initial hesitation about the unit size, but for 1 person it’s perfect for me. The area is quiet, I rarely see or hear my neighbors. Parking is never an issue. And I like the parking set up into which I don’t feel like I live around a lot of people. I love being in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and coffee. The office staff and maintenance also seem be very thorough, helpful, and patient.

Ayrsley Lofts is just a great place to live! The community is very clean, well kept, nicely decorated and a place I am proud to bring guests to. Love the office staff, they are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They made my move in experience a breeze and my apartment is perfect for me. I would highly recommend living at Ayrsley Lofts.

The ladies in the leasing office were super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely made moving less stressful with the process and communication. Love the building, great location, and great amenities.

We have lived in several apartment complexes and we usually feel like we are just a number. Here at Ayrsley Lofts we truly feel like we are a part of a community. Everyone is so incredibly friendly, and the fact that we are so close to so many fun things is just the cherry on top.

I rented the apartment from NJ before I moved down and have not been disappointed in any aspect of my living situation

Beautiful apartments close to restaurants and attractions w/in walking distance. However, the common areas have become very dirty. Residents let their dogs go to the bathroom inside the buildings, on the elevators and on side walks. They used to have a young lady cleaning the buildings but have not replaced her once she left. It’s getting hard to live here and this has been an issue for several months now and it’s hard to have visitors over when your building smells of dog urine and such.

Ayresly Lofts is located in a convenient location. Your 20 minutes from uptown, airport and shopping districts. Its in a central location with great nightlife with bars, restaurants and movie theater in walking distance. I highly recommend Ayrsley Lofts!

Ayrsley Lofts has a clean friend environment with excellent and professional staffing.

I was a first time apartment renter and I had been looking for an apartment for months. From the moment I toured the property I knew it’d be my home. My leasing agent was Hina & she was AMAZING throughout the application process. The office responds to residents in a timely manner. The property is about ten years old but it still looks brand new. The grounds are well maintained and the amenities are really nice. I’m excited to call Ayrsley my home.

I love living in the Ayrsley Lofts! Its quiet, clean, and peaceful. The maintenance and front office staff are nice and professional.

Maintenance and the office staff are exceptional and continue to be friendly, helpful and courteous in all interactions and that is a huge plus.

Overall; a nice place to live and great location. Apartment was Not thoroughly cleaned/walls were not painted; not even wiped down or retouched. There were tacks and nails left in walls from previous resident.

Enjoy it very much. The Standard is very high here. An Exceptional place to live.

The ladies (Hina, Danielle & Sierra) in the management office are the best, and Tom and Glen are always quick to help with any repairs expeditiously! I have been here for a year, and I love this place and staff!

Love the fact I can walk out the door and go to the movies, restaurant, gym, or bar without having to get in my car!!!

The property manager and staff both Sierra and Hanna are personable and professional. They are happy to answer any questions and address any concerns. I love living here!

Ayrsely is a great place for singles and roommates to live. There is hwy access & a very walk-friendly neighborhood

Firstly, the office staff is AMAZING! They keep you updated, do their best to do weird little activities (even if cheap), get your packages and notify you of their arrival, and are quick to help/respond to inquiries. Maintenance is also amazing, they respond to work orders quickly and do a good job. You can also set-up for an exterminator to come out monthly if you prefer. The pool is nice and open year round(if you don't mind the cold), but unfortunately closes at 10pm so no late night swimming. The location is cute, with TONS of shops and restaurants to choose from nearby. There's a Movie Theater in walking distance that served as a nice Date Night option too. Now for the reason it's not 5 stars..they're called "luxury apartments" but I would NOT agree with that. The main building is newer and nicer(but there are a lot of apartments crammed in there so I'm not sure about noise), I stayed in another building, connected by the parking deck(which the top level is supposed to be for residents only with towing enforced but the tow truck doesn't come often enough to really enforce it), that was much older and dirtier. You can see the splashes of paint where they do touch-ups, the carpets are gross, and worst of all - BUGS EVERYWHERE. Most of them can be kept at bay well enough if you have the exterminator come out regularly, keep your sink area clean (pour bleach down the disposal to keep the gnats from breeding) and don't open the windows so the ants can't get in. But even then you'll be finding dead bugs when cleaning. (You can put a work order in for the bleach and to take care of wasp nests though which is nice). BUT THE WATER BUGS!! There is a creek running under the apartment complex that lets them breed and infiltrate at will. There is nothing to spray to keep them at bay, no matter how clean you keep your unit. Water Bugs are like giant cockroaches with wings. The part of the building with the elevator shaft B(which is constantly very hot, smells of wet dog, and unkempt)also leaks, pooling water everywhere when it rains. This is where your mailbox is kept. Like I said, there's good & bad to this place. Personally, I don't think it's worth the price (which seems to be going up), but if you can afford it and don't mind sharing your living space with bugs(or constantly killing them, we have a designated bug killing shoe at this point)then this place may very well be the one for you.

This is a great building that is minutes from great shopping, resturants and great schools. The staff is very helpful in finding the apartment that caters to your needs. They keep you updated on special events and appreciate their residents. The apartments in this area are very clean and well kept.. Its like being in a little city of your own.

Gramercy Square is situated on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. In the quiet area of Ayrsley. With nearly 1.5 million visitors each year, Ayrsley has become the hub of Southwest Charlotte. If you’ve never heard of Ayrsley, you may wonder what makes it so unique. Ayrsley is not strictly an office park nor strictly retail centered. Ayrsley is not just a movie theatre or a residential district or a row of hotels sprinkled with restaurants. Instead, Ayrsley is a collaborating community where the movie-goer visits the boutique, the couple on a lunch date work in the buildings nearby and the patient in the dentist’s chair lives only a few doors away. I find it so convenient that I can walk as little as 5 minutes to any of these attractions. Not to mention how comfortable I am within my own apartment. The building is only accessible via an electronic key, which gives me great confidence of who enters the building. We have our own personal lobby, which is filled with a media center, kitchen, bar, TV's and full size pool table, it is a great place to host a gathering of friends for a fun night. My apartment itself is very spacious and the floor plan is great. With a large living room and open area into the kitchen I always feel like I am apart of the conversation whenever friends are around. The bathroom is a delight too, I love the garden tub. It really does have a lot of room for not only a shower, but also a nice soaking after a long day on the golf course. One more great feature about Gramercy Square is the rent includes Cable and Internet. It is very rare that apartments of this quality will include such a feature. It really helps cut down on my extra bills. All in all, I recommend Gramercy Square to anyone, it really is a treat to live here.

Do you enjoy sleep, serenity and environmental ambiance? If so, I'm afraid that your search must continue. While the property is beautiful, the aesthetics cover up a plethora of itches that management just will not scratch. Before moving, ensure that you view a unit with occupants on either side and overhead, if applicable. It's quite helpful to view the unit with another. As a team, have someone slam side doors and knock on walls so that you fully understand the poor insulation. Speak to current residents. Have them detail their experiences with management. Finally, visit the community after hours. While you cannot see the apartment, you can certainly get a truly good feel for what occurs during your sleeping hours.

We lived at The Lofts for a year and absolutely loved our time here. We had a brand new 2BR/2BA on the 4th floor. It was a great layout with really nice furnishings. We loved the front desk staff, especially Melissa and Nilou when they were still there, though we aren't sure who is there now. The dog park was great, but when we moved in we were told the second building w/ a gym, pool, patio, etc. would be built within a year, and it's still not built. That sucked for our stay there, but everything else was awesome. Ayrsley Town Blvd. is a great place to live with a lot of great stores and restaurants within walking and driving distance. Hopefully they get Delicat Market in soon so there there is a grocery store right next door. If you're thinking of renting here, we definitely recommend it. We would have never moved out if we didn't get a job an hour away!

I lived at The Lofts at Charleston Row in Ayrsley for 6 months while house hunting. We would have stayed longer if we didn't find our dream home so quickly. The Lofts are brand new, spacious and right in the middle of Ayrsley which means you can walk to the Ayrsley Grand Cinemas, the YMCA, really good restaurants, bars and a cute bark bark that our puppy loved. The trip to uptown was only about 10 minutes so it had the best of both worlds. We were lucky and had really nice neighbors; most everyone in the building seemed to be professionals of all ages. There were some students but it was never rowdy. There is a great courtyard that had a grill and outdoor fireplace that was really nice to have dinners on every now and then. We only had a one bedroom which normally would be a pain when guests came to visit but there are two hotels within walking distance that were affordable and much more comfy for our guests.
