This apartment complex has no interest in the well being and safety of its residents. Multiple huge rats on property and bug infestation problem. The pool will never open even after various ‘city inspections’ that I honestly don’t believe ever happen. They will tell you one thing and do a completely different other thing. Management are rude and inconsiderate. They will never answer the phone, yell and curse at residents. Do not move here unless you want problems.

Averelle North Hills is by far the worst apartment complex I have lived here in Raleigh. Huge rats roam across the complex and they have a bad bug problem (Roaches, ants, flies). Maintenance takes weeks to complete request and even then they do not fix the problems correctly. My air condition was broken for 3 weeks before they were able to fix it with my apartment reaching 91F during the day and 84F at night. Management will tell you the pool is opening but never opens during the summer due to "not passing city requirements". I was told the workout room would be 24/7 but it is only open from 9am-5pm. No one is ever at the front office and there have been multiple car and apartment break-ins since I moved in. DO NOT move here unless you want to deal with all of this.

Beware of moving here Sadly moving to these apartments have been the worse decision I have made. First Issue The internet has not been working in my unit for over a week. This is a huge problem since I’m an online student. The front office is aware of this problem yet no solution has been given. Second Issue The hallway light has been on for over two weeks and maintenance will not come out to look at it. I put in a request and called the office multiple times yet no one has come to fix it. I guess it’s not their problem since they are not paying the bill. Third Issue The front door is very difficult to unlock and lock. Fourth Issue They are short staffed so you can rarely get ahold of anyone at the front office. Fifth Issue Trash isn’t collect Friday and Saturday so there is always a bunch of trash near the walkway and it has an odor. Flies are often lingering in the hallway. Sixth Issues Given incorrect lease term. I asked for a 6 months lease and was given a 13 month lease. Seventh Issue The apartment has a leak in the bathroom. Eight Issue You never have access to the gym or pool area since the front office is always locked and there is never anyone in there. Ninth Car care center vacuum is broken.

Save your time, money and aggravation and find a better place to live! The management at this complex is deceitful, dishonest and unresponsive. After several promises made prior to move in were broken, it was almost impossible to get the needed repairs done correctly. An A/C repair took over a month to address, and, once it finally was addressed it was done incorrectly causing a leak in the bedroom closet that developed black mold. Repairs to an outside terrace closet were promised and never completed. When the problems became unbearable, they agreed to let us out of the lease. When the move out was made, the apartment was left in better condition than it was at move in. But, management claimed there was damaged (which was a lie) and said they would deduct half of the security deposit before returning it. What a train wreck of a management team. There are so many options for better places to live in Raleigh. Do your homework and you will save yourself a ton of trouble!

I was paying rent on time and they still sent me a eviction notice because the app was down ! They charge you fee’s without explaining why , there is mold and smoke damages and maintenence never comes to fix things , if they do , it takes months ! They change leasing managers every 2 months and they tell you one thing and expect you to resolve issues on your own. Would not recommend at all .. one star is too much !!!!

Literally have gotten the run around for the last 2 weeks. They take your application fee and assure you a call back that you'll never receive. I have tried to call them several times and they never answer the phone, which makes me weary of how maintenance would go. When they do answer, they promise to call you back later and it never happens. This management group Dasmon does not seem to care either. I'll fix this review if I actually get calls back rather than them just taking my $50 and doing nothing.

Terrible place,pictures is not try,apartment very old,dirty,never was remodeled. A lot cockroaches,aunt. Garbage everywhere. Management unprofessional,never respond on problems,never call back. Not recommend this. If I can I finished my lease know

Rude office staff, maintenance can take months. This summer no AC for almost 2 weeks and they did everything but fix my unit , as a result it kept malfunctioning.

I have contacted the office about trash from apartment across from me that's being remodeled and was informed three weeks ago that they received my email and the trash would be removed asap. Three weeks later and the trash is still boxed up and sitting under the stairs. If the management team would only stand by their word then maybe I would renew my lease before August 2019. Think before you move here.

In the very short amount of time living here I’ve alresdy run into literally dozens of issues. Heating unit constantly breaking, outlets not working, lighting fixtures breaking off, incorrect parts for stoves, and overall cheap and ridiculous “fixes” for other things. The apartments are very old and it shows! I definitely will be leaving as soon as my lease is up.

I love this community! I have lived here for 1 year and have recently renewed my lease. It's a quiet, established community with well maintained grounds and amenities. The leasing / management staff is very friendly and want to ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. Apartment units are very attractive. The location is fantastic and easy access to 440 makes work commute a breeze.

I just re-newed my lease. I like living here. The location is great. I moved from Cary. I love North Hills and spend a lot of time there and Glenwood South. I work inside the beltline on Glenwood Avenue, so I am only one exit away, and I dont have to even get on the beltline to come to and from work. The gym that I am a member of has three locations in VERY close proximity to the Crossroads at North Hills. But the apt complex also has a facilty with gym equipment. I'm constantly discovering shops and restaurants in very close proximity to the apartments. My most recent find is a beautiful greenway within walking distance of the apartments. The direction my dog and I took on the greenway leads to Shelley Lake. I'm eagar to explore the other direction soon. The staff has been very nice and attentive. I have been getting same day answers to my questions. I also like the mail delivery service. I order from Groupon quite often, and the packages that are too big to fit in the mailbox the office holds for me; rather than the package sitting right outside my door. Parking has also not been a problem. When I lived in Cary it was possible to have to circle a few times looknig for a parking space. I also like that people don't congregate in the parking lot with loud music blaring. These are things as a single female that I pick up on. Safetly has not been an issue here for me. I work a lot and my dog does not like the heat, so often times we are out at 10pm to midnight getting a walk/run in. I've always felt safe. The landscaping is nice and the pool is beautiful. I noticed the laundry facility has a website access so you can go back to your apartment and log in any time and see your laundry/the laundry room. Enjoy!

I checked the bad reviews on this place and I'm surprised...they weren't here when I moved in in February of 2016. Well, I've been living here for about eight months and while there are issues, don't believe the bad press. The staff here is wonderful, they've always been super helpful to me, whether that was handling maintenance issues or just listening and having a fun conversation when I come in to pay my rent. They're also very professional. When I was having a fruit fly problem, they called in an exterminator and worked with me to resolve the issues. All free of charge. I have had some maintenance problems from time to time, but the maintenance staff are cool, personable, and can resolve your issue in a day or two. Honestly, for Raleigh, the price is great. If I don't go overseas for work, I'll definitely stay here another year.

I'm not sure where these bad reviews are coming from? I have been here for about 6 months and have no complaints. Management is organized and professional, maintenance gets to things quickly, and this location is convinient to everything. Love it!

I have lived here for about a year and a half and I have to say that since this new management group took over about a month ago, things have really improved. They are professional and it actually seems like they care abut their residents. Rent is reasonable too. I definitely recommend it!

I recently relocated to Raleigh, NC and the staff at Crossroads at North Hills were great! They helped every step of the way. I love the space that I have in my one bedroom apartment and the floor plan. I would highly recommend this complex to my family and friends!
