I'm so happy living at Aventura Decatur. The office staff has taken care of me so well, and I know that when I need assistance with any problem, they will see that it gets resolved quickly. The property is beautiful, with large old-growth trees and clean grounds. The residents feel safe to walk their pets, visit the pool or gym, or be out on the property without worry. Since I have recently moved here, the leasing staff at Aventura has been phenomenal! Mia, Dimitri, and Michael are exceptional in their professionalism, knowledge, and warm southern hospitality. This was by far the most stressful move coming from the PNW, and this outstanding team, has by far, made this the smoothest transition ever, and I can't thank them enough!
I have enjoyed living at Aventura Decatur. The location is beautiful and excellent location for those who work or study at Emory. The updates to the apartments have kept up with the times. I enjoy the diversity of our community.
My move experience was very easy. I love the updates and finishes in my unit. The tree lined street gives the whole complex a cozy, neighborhood feel. Mia, Demetri and Michael in the office are friendly and professional and know many of the residents by name which makes me feel I am part of a community. Overall a great first couple of weeks here.
I love the fact that Aventura is a gated community and our experience with our neighbors has been good - respectful and friendly.

I have been a resident here at Aventura Decatur (formally Decatur Crossing) for about 6 years. The office and maintenance teams here have been great. Although the upgrades are challenging, the office management team made sure they kept us updated with all the work that was being done and were available for any questions or concerns I had. The maintenance team (Kenneth and Wesley) are both awesome. The repairs I needed were done in a very professional and timely manner. They made sure I was satisfied with the work they completed and make sure I knew to contact them if any future issues arises. I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with Aventura Decatur Property Management. The staff are friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, replacing/removing furniture, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintence quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from Aventura decatur for the remainder of my years and I strongly recommend their properties to all of the incoming graduate students looking for housing. I love the quick response of my service calls. The maintenance guys usually do a good job keeping the outside grounds clean. I continue to use the gym equipment which is a plus.

Generally speaking, this community has been a good, safe place to live. Neighbors are not always the best, and the apartments are not especially sound-proof, but generally it's pretty quiet and peaceful. There have been some communication issues with the office and things don't always get done as quickly as they should. The cost of the units also seems high for the quality of what you're getting.

I have only lived here for 1 month, but I am looking it! Lovely amenities, beautiful complexes, and kind staff. I also really like how animal-friendly they are.
I've been here for a few years now and used to absolutely love it - the management has changed this past year, and communication has suffered greatly. It's difficult to get anyone to answer emails or phone calls. Maintenance is very fast and the guys doing that work are fantastic, but the outside contractors the complex uses don't do the best work. The area is great, and the amenities are nice. The units are older, but generally clean and nice.
My move in experience has been nothing but seamless here at DC- from the application to move-in day I have been impressed by the responsiveness. I will say that while the tours may be repetitive always treat each guest like a potential resident, every time. It's a very quiet community and has a peaceful vibe to it. The access to the surrounding ammenities is awesome, you almost don't have to 'leave' the community to enjoy it. I would highly recommend, glad I found it!
Decatur Crossing is the best place to live in Decatur. The management Team is delightful to work with, whenever there is an issue they send someone immediately . The property is always clean, no rodents, no break-ins. My family is proud to call this place home.
I love our community we have created! We’re on our 7th year at Decatur Crossing Apartments. One of the main reasons we love it is because of the manager, Adriano. Adriano has been a key figure in our lives and we can’t imagine living here without him. He has become a part of our family and my kids absolutely adore him too. He first showed us the apartments when we were looking and we loved the way he spoke about them and the community and decided to stay. We weren’t excited about selling our home and moving, but it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. These are more than just apartments to us. We’ve made this community our home and the other residents and Adriano have become a part of it. We cried when we thought he was leaving. We have made many lasting relationships here and we can’t imagine living anywhere else. We’ve celebrated with many of our friends and have cried over loss. We look out for each other! The apartments ARE awesome, but it’s the people in them that makes it special.
Well kept, have not had a problem in two years,management is great.
I would recommend Decatur Crossing Apartments firstly because of the staff. They really care and are concerned about their tenants being satisfied with our investments of community. Customer service is superior!!! It's nice to be acknowledged as a PERSON not just a monthly payment.
Tony and Trung are excellent and always deliver top level service. I appreciate all their hard work.
Affordability is the main reason why not. Everything else is accommodating
I feel safe here and never had mail or packages stolen which is a testament to how great my neighbors are. Adriano and Senea were really helpful when I accidentally paid rent twice and got my money refunded fast, which I appreciated. Tony and Trung are great and always get things fixed quickly.
This is home to me and I feel safe and well taken care of. I do not worry at all about the condition of my apt. Wonderful community

Residents and management are neighborly and kind. The complex is clean and safe.
Our unit overlooked a coffee shop that played loud music and it was stressful and distracting. The area around the community has constant construction going on. I couldn't recommend anyone put up with that. The community and the unit was great other than the noise and traffic issues.
Many complaints you read about apartment complexes are that maintenance is slow. That is certainly not the case here. All my requests have been resolved in under 12 hours.
It a nice, quiet community...it has exceeded my expectations of a comfortable place to call home.

Staff at Decatur Crossing are friendly, accessible and respond timely. I have never had to request 'a follow up' to maintenance due to an unprofessionalism or lack of knowledge. It's always done right the first time.

It is a great location and at the same time a private environment.
The office staff and maintenance makes us feel very supported, like we are really part of a community. Everything is well maintained and clean, and the apartment itself has character while also being really nice. Quiet neighborhood, nice grounds, free coffee!
I would definitely recommend thos community because of the wonderful customer service of staff, great neighbors and a beautiful community.
The maintenance is probably the best part of this community.
