Living here has been a really positive experience — the community is peaceful, well-maintained, and feels safe. The staff are friendly and reliable, and even small details like the evening valet trash pickup (with their familiar whistles) add a nice touch of organization and care to daily life.

this is not a family friendly community, theres not playgrounds or spaces created for kids, just a bunch of dog parks.

The pool and views are beautiful. Friendly staff and great location. Maintenance wasn’t very timely but I see new staff and everything has improved in the recent weeks. Looking forward to this trend continuing because it’s so lovely here.

Avana Long Point is a beautiful property. It is peaceful and fun at the same time! Close proximity to stores, the beach, and the highway. I appreciate how much effort the staff puts into maintaining the property and hosting fun community events. I appreciate Jenny in the office so much! She is creative in finding solutions to problems, and will always help with maintenance issues. I am grateful that she is here to assist the community here. Overall a great place to live other than delays in maintenance.

I have lived here for a while now and I’ve seen things change all over the property. Jenny in the main office is amazingly helpful with any need and explanation to things happening in the community. The community it self has gotten better in my time here, and like any business it has it rough days especially when dealing with so many different tenants, but constant staff members have been able to reassure residents that things are improving for a better resident experience. Amenities are nice, with a number of spaces right on the marsh overlooking the Wando river.

I thoroughly enjoy living at Avana. The property is quiet and peaceful. The office staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. The Maintenance team is able to respond to any issue I have in my apartment in a timely manner. I feel that I am at home at Avana and don't plan to move in the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your message. To clarify, the repairs completed last year focused on resurfacing the interior of the pool. This year’s work addressed unexpected electrical issues, which were further complicated by requirements related to the Town’s inspections. While the pool was offline, we also took the opportunity to implement several resident-focused improvements to enhance the overall experience. We want to assure you that the reopening process is currently underway, and we will continue to share updates as progress is made. Throughout this entire effort, we have prioritized clear and consistent communication and have worked diligently to expedite completion for the benefit of all residents. Our goal is to enhance and made repairs as needed and know that these are not always ideal times to do so, however are happy to have this online again very soon as wee know how desireable this is for everyone! If I would market for Avana, I would say it’s a great neighborhood, but please be advised that the management told me that the appliances are old and expected to not work after several usage. However, no one told us that before signing the lease.

I enjoy the location of Avana and the nature surrounding the complex. It is pretty quiet other than being able to easily hear neighbors (the walls are not very soundproof). I do wish the gym was bigger but the pool area is very nice. I like how there is a walking trail close by and it has always felt safe. My apartment has pretty updated finishes except the lighting and my bath vanity is short. It is not cheap but not terrible compared to some other apartments in Mt pleasant. Never have issues with traffic. I also love the screen porch.

Avana is the most beautiful property right next to the river and nature reserve. Super pet friendly with the nicest management and Maintenace staff. It has been amazing my first 6 months here. Getting to see the river and amazing wildlife right from my living room and balcony.

I have lived in other apartments in Mount Pleasant, but Avana Long Point is my favorite! The amenities are great, move in was easy, and the layout of my apartment is excellent. Very happy here!

Avana has been making a lot of great improvements to the community.Maintenance staff is prompt and amazing at responding in a timely manner and completing service requests overall this is a great community to live in.

This is easily the most beautiful property in the area. It is wooded and secluded, with gorgeous views of the Wando River. It has a prime location situated with water views directly between the Ravenel bridge and the Mark Clark Expressway bridge to Daniel Island. Shopping and access to IOP are also convenient with IOP about 15 minutes away by car. We have a Disney-like pool from which we can also see the River. The new management team is engaged in ongoing renovations and the community continues to improve.

The team at Avana have been working to make the community look more cared for. They have made many great improvements. The maintenance team (Abby and Jason specifically) have been very responsive and quick to resolve any issue that comes their way and they do it with a smile! All of the staff is always super friendly whenever you see them around the community!

avona Longpoint has come a long way under new management. They have been making a lot of upgrades to the property. The buildings got painted new roof landscaping looks awesome. Whenever work orders are submitted. They are answered and completed very quickly management office. Staff is very helpful. Overall this is a great community to live in a great location. I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone.

Very terrible experience. The place is very dirty and there are cockroaches everywhere. I have taken a cold shower the past two days. I can’t deliver any packages here because there was always an issue. the rent is way too high for how bad the place is

We have weekly pest control visits for residents in need, they will be here each Wednesday and we would be happy to add you to this list. Dealing with the leasing team was excellent very professional and caring and did everything they could to help with my move which needed to happen quickly!! So accommodating and understanding!! Thanks for all you did!!

Avana Long Point is a wonderful community to live in. The administrative staff and maintenance staff are all working hard to make our life as pleasant as they can. The community is pretty wholesome, lots of families and nice networking events. Staying here has been a wonderful experience.

My experience at Avana Longpoint has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I moved in, it became abundantly clear that this apartment complex fails to live up to its promises. Heading over to my building is like driving through a trash yard. It's disgusting. There are multiple dumpsters and building materials lying around. The first week that we moved in, I got a flat tire because of all the nails the workers would leave on the ground. We just received our renewal for our lease, and it went up 15% in the base rent and additional fees were also added. We know someone else who lives here and only 2 months ago their lease went up 5%. We talked with the property manager and asked her why ours went up so much and she would not give a clear answer. Just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

It is not the 25th day and I still have plastic covering over my entire outside window. No siding. No installation for my walls to keep my air from leaking out. I have extra holes in my walls. To the present date, an exterminator has yet to come and spray for the termites that have caused the damage.
