Its not worth the trouble, the service is always an issue. They never respond to your service request. For the service no one comes, and even when the issue is registered, its assigned to a person for ages and no one shoes up. Tts not solved at all. Just because we are not home, we never know if the service is actually done.

This has been the most absurd and frustrating experience I’ve had with any property management or maintenance team. My request to replace a ceiling fan has now been open for 230 days. Yes, 230 days for a fan. In that time, four different technicians have visited my home. Every single one of them confirmed the same thing: the fan needs to be replaced. But instead of actually fixing it, they left after making promises that went nowhere. The last technician even gave me a specific appointment, Monday at 1 PM, but no one showed up. No call. No update. Nothing. My email thread with them is now 26 messages long. I’ve also visited their office 4 or 5 times hoping that speaking to someone in person would move things along. It didn’t. When I tried to schedule a conversation, I was told they were booked out for five business days. That’s how disconnected they are from the people they’re supposed to be helping. And the worst part is this is just a fan. I’m lucky I can at least get a table fan to get by. But what if this had been a washer, dryer, or stove? Something essential? The total lack of urgency would be completely unacceptable in any of those cases. They keep saying they’re working through a backlog, but if I’ve been waiting for 230 days, that means others are probably waiting even longer, which is clear from other reviews. This isn’t just about a backlog. This is about poor management. If it were just a matter of volume, I wouldn’t have had four different technicians come out only to make the same observation without any follow-through. It’s clear this team has become numb to the delays and disorganization. The lack of accountability, urgency, and empathy has become their new normal. They are completely out of touch with the basic expectations of service and respect for people’s time. If you’re considering working with them or moving into one of their properties, don’t. You’ll be on your own the moment something stops working.

This is a good community for families. There are ample green spaces where kids can play. The community is adjacent to grocery and amenities. Overall good atmosphere.

Maintenance requests can take months to be resolved. Management and front desk have the same generic responses like we are short of maintenance staff or we just got a new one and shall get to you ASAP and the cycle repeats itself. Cockroaches ! Cockroaches have also signed a long term lease here, Beaware and do your thorough research but unfortunately I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

Horrible. Broken faucet and dishwasher that are yet to be fixed after numerous work orders. Incompetent office personnel that doesn’t respond in a timely manner. Random fees for things that we aren’t even doing.

Maintenance is very poor, if you can survive without Oven, dish washer, clothe washer and dryer then this is best society to stay.

Worst apartment living experience to date. Absolutely non existent maintenance team unless its an emergency, fitness center machines constantly broken/missing, hot tubs never work.

Avana Desert view is a good community to live. You can find many people to mingle. It have play areas and parks with 2 swimming pools. Community maintenance seems to be improving now a days.

“Community rules” only apply to some. They will charge you for a trash service that may or may not actually pick up your trash even if you follow all their rules and then they’ll fine you for having trash out beyond the 2 hours they allot you to have trash out. But they won’t do anything about all the dog poop, people who let their dogs off leash, bugs specifically the roaches that they’ll tell you is normal and “expected” to live with, screaming neighbors, and if you have any maintenance issue, don’t expect it to ever get fixed. Save your sanity and go literally anywhere else. I’d live in a hotel before I ever rented from this place again.

There are a lot of children so if noise from 2pm to 9pm bothers you don't live here. The gym is nice. Maintenence is very slow although they claim it's due to lack of staff. They perform loud landscaping every morning at 7 Tues-Sat.

Every member of the staff are high quality, competent, and good natured people. This includes Adrian, Gary, Jesse on the Maintenance Team. And Tasha, Jesse, and Isaiah on the Office Staff Team. The grounds and amenities are beautifully maintained. The two bedroom apartments are well laid out with plenty of storage. Overall, my experience is that this is a calm, friendly, family-oriented community. It has a resort / sanctuary vibe. LOVE IT!

This is the most poorly managed apartment complex we have ever lived in. Our apartment was advertised as “newly renovated” but has had a variety of maintenance issues from the first day we moved in (including a toilet with a thick layer of the previous resident’s grime, which Avana apparently thought was okay to leave; mirrors with giant black spots on them; leaking AC; disconnected toilet seat; and other disgusting such things). The only way to have any maintenance issue resolved is to follow up with the entire Avana team daily. Avana management claims that they are understaffed, which would be understandable, except for the fact that they’ve been claiming to be understaffed for the entire 1.5 years we have lived here. It is clear that the issue is not shortage of labor - the issue is horrible management.

I joined two months ago, but they still haven't addressed move-in problems. When we seek an address, they merely state that it is nominal and will take time to address. I am not sure if they will be able to address this during my term. The dryer has been a problem since day one, as has the second bathroom, but they have not addressed the issue for the past 60 days. I requested so many times in the lease office with no luck.

None of my work orders are fixed for this year. The year itelf completed. Simply closing the work orders without fixing it. No maintenance on amenities like pool, gym, lawn. Better to move out from this community.

Property looks nice but front desk service is terrible and non existent. I walked in twice and it’s as if they’re too good to even want to speak to anyone or do their jobs. I was in yesterday & the gentleman was on the internet on the computer. The only words he said were “we don’t take walk ins.” Not hello or how can I help or even ask to help set one up, nothing. He couldn’t be bothered. Meanwhile there was no one else there so he could’ve spent 2 minutes speaking. This was the 2nd time I’ve had this type of interaction so if this is how they treat potentially new clients, I could imagine the nightmare is to request service or help.
