This is an excellent and safe place to live. I’ve lived here for seven years and couldn’t be happier. It’s easily accessible. Downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale are less than 15 minutes away. Five stars from me!

It's a well-established complex on the older side. However the upkeep and maintenance exceeds expectations. It feels like a community here because of the nature of the way the buildings are built with little Courtyards everywhere and I do feel a sense of community even though it's a large complex. It's very pet friendly. My little Shih Tzu Molly loves it here. The Landscaping is beautiful and the trees are all mature trees a lot of flowering trees like bacon videos and other kinds of flowering plants The Grass Is Always manicured looking. It's in a fabulous location on 7th Street and it takes approximately 15 minutes to get downtown from here even during rush hour. The North Phoenix Mountain preserves surround the complex. There's a lot of interesting Wildlife to see if you go hiking in the preserves or they want to run to the property but they don't really bother anybody and as animal lover I like that the aspect of the wildlife coming onto the property. Even though it's in the middle of Phoenix it feels as I said like a community and you don't really hear a lot of traffic or anything like that. I would highly recommend it to any of anybody looking for a really nice place to live. the rent is within keeping of Phoenix's rental rates at this time. If if somebody is looking around for a nice place it's worth giving avana at the pointe a look at least.

Throughout my 25 years of living at this beautiful property my expectations have been met and exceeded. The reason for my satisfaction living here is based upon many factors: First, the spaciousness and spectacular views and amenities of the apt, including a storage unit outside my unit, a huge bedroom walk-in closet, a coat closet, a pantry and a linen closet. Second, the EXCEPTIONALLY RESPONSIVE office staff consisting of Nicole, Charlene and Rachel. They are outstanding professionals who are always there to answer my questions and assist me with issues I'm having in a prompt manner. Third, the excellent maintenance staff who provide me with first-rate services when the need arises. Jeremy, a recent addition to the staff is a true asset to Greystar! He's very knowledgeable and personable. When my bathtub was recently resurfaced by an outside contractor, Jeremy finished the job and gave me a lot of tips for keeping the tub looking as new as it does right now! Last, the location of Avana can't be beat. I'm within 5 miles of all the shopping and professional locations I frequent and if I need to go to places further away, the freeways are very close, including the 51,the 17, the 10 and the 101. All in all, I couldn't ask for a better place to live now and in the future.

This is a nice apartment complex surrounding by an even nicer neighborhood (Pointe Tapatio), so you get the benefit of a decently priced apartment and a quality community for dog walks and security (given the proximity to Sunnyslope). I would say the grounds are well-maintained and the apartments are dated but they are charming. If you value unique floor plans and lots of natural lighting, these are a great option.

It is a quiet place and for the most part it has been fine. When it comes to maintenance however, it is very poor. I had a issue and it was not fixed for a year and a half. Some are not even fixed yet. If you ask any of the residence they all say the same thing..

I have lived at this beautiful property for 25 YEARS! My apt is so spacious and provides me with spectacular panoramic views of the indigenous desert. The amenities are many and not found in most other apt complexes. They include a huge closet in the master bedroom, a linen closet, a storage unit outside the apt, a pantry, a large kitchen and bathroom, and a coat closet. The office staff is always very responsive to any problem I may be having and the maintenance team is top rate. Through the years I have, of course, toured MANY OTHER available housing choices, but always reverted to staying at Avana. Above all else, I'm near each and every shopping venue and medical/dental provider I need and I feel very safe and secure living here. I plan on staying here for many years to come.

I have been very pleased with my choice of Avana. I appreciate the cleanliness of the grounds. It feels safe and is pretty quiet. The residents that I have met are nice and friendly. People keep their pets under control and are good about cleaning up after them. The location is so convenient to stores, post office, etc.

I placed a work order through the porthole for the porch light that was burnt out to be replaced. The next day the work order, was taken care of . when I arrived, home from work. I was delighted. I didn’t have to worry about being visionless.

After 25 years of living at Avana, I am more satisfied than ever calling this my home. Comparing my unit with others I've seen recently, I can honestly say that the amenities and location of this beautiful property provide me with a perfect place to live. The size of my unit, the panoramic views, and amenities like a storage unit outside my door, a coat closet, a pantry, a huge master bedroom closet and a huge linen closet are features that are unlikely to be had elsewhere. Add to that The excellent office staff and top notch maintenance team, it's easy to see why I am so satisfied living here.

I have lived at this beautiful property for 25 YEARS. I have a beautiful, well-maintained apartment that has been upgraded through the years. I have spectacular views. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are outstanding. That includes a coat closet, kitchen pantry, linen closet and huge walk-in closet in the bedroom. The large storage room outside my unit is very handy. I'm 5 miles in any direction from every service/shopping place I use on a regular basis. The office staff can't be beat. Bob in maintenance is simply superb. I feel safe and secure here. I could not be more satisfied than I am living at Avana.

I love every aspect of living here, including my spacious apartment with a number of amenities, like a storage unit, pantry, linen closet, large rooms and a panoramic view. The office staff has always been responsive to any requests I have. The location is ideal for all the shopping and appointments I have on an ongoing basis. The maintenance could be better staffed but when I need something done, it is always addressed in a timely manner. I plan to live here to many years to come.

I haven’t had any issues since I moved in. Great place to live. I’ve already referred others to move here. Move in process was easy , fees low and apartments decent and rent is rreasonable.

Everything I could possible want in a living experience is my reality living at Avana at the Pointe. That's why I've lived here for 24 years! My apartment is spacious with panoramic views. I wish their home amenity like washer and dryer is current and up to date. The one that we have looks like washer and dryer from early 90’s. It is not energy efficient and cost efficient. I have to go out to do laundry, most of the time i have to put more timer to the dryer for my clothes and bed sheet to dry up.

This is been an excellent process and easy process. Everyone especially Nicole was absolutely amazing. She made the process easy effortless. She was kind efficient. She was always calling me to make sure I was doing OK and offered any help with any thing online if I had any trouble. I moved in the apartment nice clean With the exception of a couple little things that I would like them to come in and look at everything is wonderful The community is clean kept up. I see the maintenance people out, taking care of the grounds all the time. I don’t feel like I live in an apartment. I feel like I live in a small home.

I’m afraid to sleep in my bed at night because of the amount of bugs in my apartment, specifically my bedroom. I’ve bought my own pest control products because the things that the complex does doesn’t work. They say they spray and yet my bedroom and bathroom are infested with crickets, scorpions, cockroaches, beetles, silverfish, and spiders. I will be moving as soon as my lease is up.

Avana at the Pointe is a beautiful community located in a stunning area. The leasing staff are kind and professional and maintenance is quick and clean. Unfortunately, my apartment was not move in ready upon moving in. There were multiple items that needed to be worked on and there are still several more I still need to have completed. I’m fortunate the on-site staff is professional and responsive, but it makes me wonder how I found myself in this situation to begin with. Obviously, it would have been significantly easier if the apartment had been ready so there was no inconvenience to either party.

The location is great for being central Phoenix. The office staff and maintenance team are nice. The units are terrible if you have someone above you. You will hear every step they take to the point of having your sleep disrupted so definitely opt for an upper unit and then you’ll be good to go. Also depending on where in the complex you live there are not a lot of open parking spaces for roommates or guests

I have not enjoyed my experience here at all. My apartment is infested with bugs in the summer, usually filling up 10 big sticky traps in one week in my bedroom/bathroom alone. Maintenance came a couple times to spray something which did absolutely nothing. I found a live snake on one of my sticky traps in our dining room. If anything breaks, I have to figure it out myself because I know this apartment is not going to do anything about it.

I have lived at this beautiful property for 24 YEARS! I love living here. I have a spacious 1 BD apt.with panoramic views. Every amenity I need I have here. That includes a coat closet, linen closet, pantry, and walk-in bedroom closet. The location can't be beat. Living in the middle of the indigenous desert while being within 5 miles of all my service/shopping venues is terrific! The maintenance staff is great and I always feel my requests to the office staff are heard and respected. I always feel valued, safe and secure living at Avana and plan to remain living here for many years to come!

Avana to me is a hidden gem. The complex and surrounding neighborhood is well kept and pleasing to the eye. It is very quiet and relaxing here with beautiful views of the beautiful Phoenix sunsets.

Scorpion Infested! We found one in our apartment less than a week after moving in. When I asked management about it they didn't seem concerned and said it doesn't happen often. After talking to neighbors it is a huge problem in the complex.
