The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Avalon Glendora
Cons. Noisy. People slam doors constantly which rattles your whole apartment. Trash collection chutes are always broken so people leave piles of garbage on the floor. Doggie accidents in hallways are disgusting. Traffic noise on Route 66 side. Freight trains twice a day on the North side shake the whole building. People smoke in the stairwells. No guest parking. Pros: Court yards are very nice with BBQ's. Quick response for requested repair.
Pot is every where. we had to leave our apartment with our small child because smoke so much that it goes through our vents. people leave dog poop everywhere. Teens are climbing onto the floor and running around. People leave trash everywhere. Pool isnt heated. Elevator is always broken and is expired. Management is horrible(besides Ashley) I cant wait until my lease is up.
I have lived in Avalon Glendora for 3 years and the price of this apartment is very high comparing to other apartments in the area. The Avalon looks like a safe place from the outside, but it isn’t. There aren’t a lot of surveillance cameras in the parking garage or anywhere. My friend had a Mercedes-Benz C63, all four of his wheels got stolen one night. Last night, someone stole my carbon bumper trim. So if you have a decent car, look elsewhere! You should not consider living here.
Do not take my word for it! Visit the Glendora police department like we did this week and speak to the office at the front desk, he will pull out a stack of incident reports six inches thick and this is just for the first few months of the new year. Cars have been vandalized and my wife was physically assaulted by another tenant, the leasing office is terrible! Rude and unprofessional staff members who are not trained to either mediate or enforce the lease agreement to tenants who continue to violate them. The community is very appealing, we made the mistake of disregarding the yelp reviews, and we are paying the price. The noise from the tenants above you in many cases is very loud, due to poor construction. If you have lived in the Irvine community, this is not it. Be Warned! The pet areas are pretty cool, however the proximity to the railroad tracks is a concern due to the amount of transients that move through the exterior of the property. January a transient broke into the recreation room and was caught sleeping on one of the couches. (check out the police report)
My apartment complex has gone above and beyond for me as a resident. It's a brand new property and phase one is complete with phase two on it's way to completion. I was suppose to move in August 7th, and because of something out of the complexes control. ..they had to push me back to August 22nd. I was very upset initially, but they went above and beyond by offering to put me up in the hotel of my choice until my new move in date! How cool...if this is how they treat their reseidents...I know I'm going to be happy making this my new home!
