I would give negative stars if I could. Avalon management only cares if your rent gets paid on time. They don't care about the safety of their residents. For example, my roof leaked for at least a year and was never fully fixed. It was so stressful. I started dreading coming home. Nobody should ever have to feel that way. And please don't leave a generic comment asking me to call the office. We all know you hardly ever answer.

I would definitely stay away from this place. Manager said the pools have not been open for 3 years , they still charge a fee for it. The complex would not let me out of my lease even tho i gave multiple months to move. They are still sending me bills for things i didn't even do. Water is always out. A/c units are terrible. Manager told me the Company is to cheap to actually fix them. They never respond to repair requests and the model they show to prospect tenants is emaculate. The place you rent is a dump but made me sign before i saw it. Cracks in the ceilings and wall. They painted the tubs, there is paint all over the floors, they even painted right over vents without even cleaning the dust off of them. Weird stains on the bathroom counter. There are plenty of nice places to stay. This is not one of them. STAY AWAY

I have lived here for a few years, and it has been nothing but issues from the very start. There are always issues with the AC. Getting someone to come and fix it is incredibly difficult. I have been told...for multiple issues..."that someone will come out today." This never happens. I never get a human when I call the office. If I leave a voicemail, nobody calls me back. It is incredibly frustrating when you are paying to live here, and issues are just going unnoticed.

Nice location but old apartment unit. Electricity reached $300 during winters. Had issues with AC every start of winter and summer. It says it’s a gated community, but the gates are always broken. Especially the main gate. The key FOB never worked for the duration of my stay (1.4 years).

All Good Reviews are paid and they are not residents of property. I am Residing here for more than 1 year. Apartment is very old and No maintenance. All residents are Moving out because of Poor Management and Mainly Maintenance people. Gym won’t work. Air conditioning systems always have trouble.Everything in this Property is simply worst. Always hot water issues. Even we call Property Manager they won’t respond simply ignore our concerns.

Avalon is a lovely apartment community in a great location along a golf course. Management is doing a great job renovating and taking care of the grounds. Jennifer, the new manager is on top of things and really turning things around here.
Management and maintenance are nonexistent. My AC hasn't worked properly in weeks so the temperature has been anywhere from 80° to 100°. My AC unit has been leaking water for at least 48 hours and despite me calling the emergency maintenance number and having to leave a voicemail, nothing has been done. There are pools of water on my bathroom floor and I'm sure mold and mildew will soon grow in this heat. Gym equipment has never worked since I moved in. Management doesn't answer or return your calls and maintenance never fixes your requests.
I have lived in multiple different properties, with multiple different managers but Janay has been my favorite. she goes above and beyond and shows she actually cares for us and it’s not only business. This property has been through a lot this past year with the weather and staff changes but Janay has been loyal and stuck with us during the hard times and not only pushed to be there for us in time of need, but always with a smile. I appreciate all she has done by trying to build the property and make it a nice home. The maintenance team you can see is also always pushing to get the job done. With all the apartments we have, you can see that everyone here really works hard to keep us happy. I know they don’t always get the best treatment from some people here as I have heard, but I hope everyone knows these apartments would not be the way they are without Janay. I know she’s been here for a while, but I hope she stays, because I know after talking to multiple neighbors, they will leave if she is not here. That’s how much we all really appreciate all she does, thank you Janay, I hope this shows everyone how amazing you are and what you do for us!!!!!!!!!!

this is such a great place to live! Janay by far is the best manager that’s ever been here, I have lived here for a while and don’t plan on moving if she is here. She cares for her residents more then I have seen anyone else have. kayce always gives me a smile when walking into the office and helps me with anything I need, and sarah is so great too she is a energy ball! The maintenance staff always is so on top of it and goes the extra mile. this place is ran by one of the best staff I have seen and hoping it stays this way.

This property is just amazing and everything that comes with it. The apartment, the pool, and all of the staff is something you won’t get at another property. Janay, you have already changed so much to this community in such an amazing way. She always make sure to keep a smile when talking with me and making sure I am taken care of. All of my neighbors adore her and we are crossing our fingers she stays for a while! Chandler is the sweetest and will always be interested in my life and will remember our conversations which shows a lot because how many people she talks to every day. Again, Avalon is amazing!!

I lived there for five years. They have an ant infestation every spring with the rain. The kitchen floor is alive with ants. Maintenance does nothing. You can watch the ants along the patio go right into the building then come out behind the molding in the kitchen. When I informed the office the rep said she laughed til she snorted, but did nothing about it. The dogs bark at all hours, the water is turned off weekly for a hot water problem they Never seem to solve. The flooring is cheap linoleum that looks like hard wood. They have cheap carpeting that mats up within two months. They have cracks in the walls. The pools have unsafe stairs leading into them. When I told them they ignored my concerns. My husband died there and they said they would work with me in my time of need... they Never told me my lease was up for renewal. They Never told me that I needed a 60 day Written notice to leave. I had to sign a lease for two months at the inflated price. Then they have the audacity to send debt collector after me claiming I owe them $2500! They Never did a final walk through with me or gave me back ANY of the deposit back or a reason why they kept any of it. Do Not Move There! Save Yourself!!!
I Have been living in this place from past 1 month and it is really good place. Easy access to many grocery stores and schools. price is very competitive compared with other properties in the same area. The Property management is very friendly and they helped me to resolve all my move in requests very quick. The property manager Morgan, the Leasing consultants Jordan and Courtney are really great staff members, they are very friendly and follow up personally on each issue. The maintenance crew is also really good,polite and friendly. They have apartments with good golf view and creek view. I surely recommend this place to any one.
I've lived in this apartment complex for 4 years now and unfortunately it's time to downgrade(I have 2 bd) and move since having a 1 bd in Plano area is more expensive than renting a 2bd. This place is a great complex to stay. I have had no issues regarding the staff and maintenance crew. They are all friendly and will help you with everything. The units are beautiful and homey. I only had one issue and that was because of nature. Due to the rain we have received last May, my ceiling leaked but it was taken care of immediately. It is really bittersweet leaving this place.
