The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at AVA Little Tokyo
Elevator and spa breaks down constantly. Fire alarms all around the building and in the rooms go off all the time for no reason. Expect homeless people outside the building constantly. If not for these issues, it would be a great place to live.
Be aware of your neibors who might be the thieves that steal your belongings, your motorcycles, and anything else. And don’t even bother to tell the office, cuz they don’t do anything to this situations.
I HEART THIS PLACE, THANKS APARTMENT.COM! I CAN COME HOME WITH THE EXPECTATION OF WHAT MY IDEAL PLACE WOULD BE.
Wow... This place is somewhere i love to live. The amenities are great and so is the staff of the complex.
Living at AVA Littly Tokyo has had its ups and downs. It's a newly constructed building and the area itself is under construction. I'll start with cons first. -High rent and skid row is at your footsteps -Security is horrible. Easy to access building and have had issues with strangers coming into the building -Guest parking is sky high at the rate of $30 if they park overnight. No discount is given even if you live here. -Management has been mediocre at best. Their follow up is inconsistent with community issues, but they've hired completely new management so I'll hope for the best. -Seems to be rented out to a lot of USC students which if you're a young professional like myself can drive you nuts since there's a lack of respect for the building and others. Pros -Awesome amenities such as 2 level luxury gym w/ full range of weights, free wi-fi in common areas, decent pool and spa, TV room with games and a space to have guests, roof deck lounge, plenty of grills, work station rooms like a pet washroom,DYI room, and bike room. -Parking offered at a fee (nice to have the option) -Appliences are all new and energy efficient. -Washer and dryer are in unit! -First business just opened below excited to see what's next -Walking distance to Little Tokyo, Arts district, and historic Downtown! -A few blocks away from the Metro Redline and Goldline Overall the location and amenities are what initially what sold me. Every complex has its issues I just hope with time they work out the kinks.
