I've lived at AV8 for just over 3 years. The apartment layout for a 1bd is great, I love the large windows and the natural light that I get in my unit. I also love that parking is included in the rent, which is rare for Little Italy. The location is amazing, plenty of restaurants to walk to.

This building was built extremely poorly—you hear everything. Every cabinet slam, drawer slam, footsteps above you, tv’s vibrating through the walls at all hours, etc. It’s CONSTANT and there is no solution from management. For the price, you can easily find a quieter place in the area with better construction. I really wish I had seen a review like this before signing a lease.

Av8 made my move to San Diego so easy. Virtual tours, online application were so helpful. Leasing staff Dondi and manager Chase are very communicative and friendly which made the process smooth.

Lived here for almost 5 years. I do not recommend the building. It’s poorly built and the unit features are subpar. They might look nice when you tour but trust me go look someone else. There are newer buildings with better amenities in the area that cost around the same.

Great location and modern updated units. I especially love the in-unit W/D and central AC. The parking included is also a major plus. I have an EV and I was able to get a parking spot with an EV charging unit. Also a very dog friendly property, which is a big plus for me and my pup!

AV8 is the best apartment building I have lived in so far. The staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. The hallways and units are clean and well-lit. I have very outgoing neighbors and have become friends with many of them. It truly feels like a wonderful community. I highly recommend living here if you want to live in Little Italy.

The property itself is nice, great appliances, and a pretty cool flight deck. The parking garage is nice and convenient and staff is also great. However it does not compare to all the noise you will hear. The airplane noise is not too bad at all. But there are people screaming up and down the hallways, people who ring your doorbell and run away, loud upstairs neighbors, and the bar outside the back of the building. If you end up in most of the units on the backside, be prepared to live with loud music/conversations that far exceed the allowable noise limits for this zoning area. The live music shakes the entire apartment every single Saturday night. When they don’t have live music, they still have music that starts every Sat-Sun starting at 10am. Mon-Fri, be prepared to hear loud music from 4pm to as late as midnight. The office doesn’t do anything about it and the bar is just as unhelpful. Preserve your sanity and do not live here.

We have had the best experience with the management so far.
Office staff is amazing, especially Michaela. Apartment is over priced especially with a non functioning gym or a pool. Also, there are 3 parking spots ive seen in the garage that have charging stations yet the occupants do not have electric or hybrid cars!

AV8 is a brand new property in the heart of Little Italy! I love the location because Icab walk to restaurants, bars and the farners market! The rooftop area is so nice to grill out or entertain friends! I love how clean the building is and The leasing staff and maintenance have been some of the best I have ever encountered in apartment living!
