Streeterville is an urban neighborhood just north of downtown Chicago with tourist attractions, incredible lake views, and a picturesque city scape. Streeterville houses Northwestern University and is known for its welcoming community. The neighborhood’s main attraction is the Navy Pier, a former Navy training center, that’s been transformed into a tourism haven. Carnival rides, gift shops, eateries, lakefront views, beer garden, and evening fireworks in the summer months make for an incredible one-stop-shop for fun. There’s a wide variety of dining options in town, from four-star French cuisine to casual pub fare.
Downtown’s Museum of Contemporary Art is a big hit with locals and tourists, as is 360 Chicago that offers views from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building complete with a tilting glass overlooking the city. The Ohio Street Beach is a popular public sandy spot on the lake with a beachside eatery, Caffe Olivia.

The concierge service here has been nothing but excellent. Everyone I have interacted with has been friendly, approachable, and willing to help with any questions or requests. Making reservations for amenities is quick and straightforward, which adds a lot of convenience to daily life. The interior of the apartment itself is very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it comfortable to live in. In addition, the surrounding infrastructure is impressive, with grocery stores, restaurants, and cafes located within easy walking distance. Transportation is also highly convenient. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience here so far and feel fortunate to have chosen this place as my home.

The location is great. Grocery stores super close. Tons of restaurants to choose from. The beach and parks aren’t far. The staff and maintenance at the building are very friendly.

We moved in May 5th so we have only been living here for a few days but love it so far! The move in process was amazing and being able to reserve the loading dock saved us a ton of time/energy when moving in. The front desk staff are all so friendly and helpful! Max was a huge help with answering all our questions and made sure we had everything signed and done prior to our move in date. Our apartment is absolutely gorgeous with all the natural light and open floor plan. We are super excited to be living here and cannot wait to explore more of the amenities!

I love living at Atwater. From the ENTIRE staff (our concierges, leasing agents, maintenance crew), the amenities, the people who live here - it's one of my favorite apartments I have ever lived and I've lived in 7 states! good coffee. The transportation here is convenient. It's easy to get to Navy Pier. The scenery there is very beautiful. Very close to the lake, where there are sandy beaches and beautiful views. You can swim, walk, run, bike. I like the beautiful scenery here. Downstairs there are several supermarkets and pharmacies, hotels. It's easy to shop.

The building staff is helpful and kind. We have had very few maintenance issues (non requiring real help). The biggest complaint is that people are not good at keeping their pets off the pet-free zones, which aren’t enforced it seems. People also need to control pets better when in halls and elevators, as some have allergies or are immunocompromised.

Atwater is clean and cozy to live at and its location is convenient. It hosts yoga classes every week.

We’ve had a great experience so far at Atwater Apartments. They made the whole application & move in process streamlined & easy. The building is safe, clean, and has great amenities. The staff has been very kind and always helpful. We looked at around 25 apartments and felt this was the best value and location. Atwater offered everything that was on our wish list. (Garage parking, in unit laundry, balcony, partial lake view, pantry, floor to ceiling windows, pool)

I’ve lived here for a while and have had a superb experience. The building is well maintained and pristinely clean. It looks new everywhere. The staff are professional, responsive, and friendly. There are also regular social activities within the building for you to get to know the amazing neighbors. Highly recommend.

I’ve been living at Atwater in Chicago, and it’s been an amazing experience! The management team, especially Roy and Diamond, go above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and well taken care of. They are incredibly kind, approachable, and always willing to help with any concerns or questions. The amenities are fantastic, and the building is always clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything I need -Wholefoods, Navy Pier, Target etc. It truly feels like home here. I highly recommend Atwater to anyone looking for a great place to live in Chicago!

I've lived here over a year. This place is located in the safest area in Chicago and all amenities(Gym, lobby, coffee machine etc) are always prepared in the best quality. Managers are always kind and willing to help residents, making the place even better. Accessibility to all resources(Wholefoods, Navy pier, Lincoln park etc) is a cherry on the top.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Atwater Apartments. Moving from out of state was stressful, but Jabria made the entire process feel smooth and effortless. She patiently answered all my questions through multiple phone calls, helping me understand all my options. The freight elevators were under maintenance on the date of my move-in, so I was provided with a regular elevator, without which moving in would have been a hassle. Arriving to find a cute care package was such a thoughtful touch! The entire concierge team is fantastic - they're always friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make residents feel at home. And the location? Absolutely perfect! Having Target and Whole Foods so close has made my life so much easier. With a pub, a breakfast place, and even a poke bowl spot right at my doorstep, I have everything I need within a two-minute walk. If you're looking for a new apartment in this area, I highly recommend Atwater Apartments!

This is my 5th different apartment building in Chicago and it is by far the best. Apartments are spacious and well laid out with great finishes and appliances, floor to ceiling windows are gorgeous, and the building amenities are spotless. The office staff are phenomenal, especially Sophie who helped us get settled!

The building is very well maintained, all the facilities are in pristine condition. Even if something in the unit was to break the team is very responsive and professional. I really believe that the team from the receptionists tot he maintenance to the management make all the difference.

Wonderful building management and concierge. Management helped me with everything I needed to help my move be seamless. Within a day of moving in the concierge already remembered my name and greeted me! Feels very warm and welcoming coming in.
