Located directly across the bay from San Francisco, Downtown Oakland extends from 12th Street north to Grand Avenue. Oakland's "main street" is Broadway, which extends from 8th Street to 17th Street. Property Ratings at Atlas
Atlas certainly demands premium rent but fails to deliver. If Im paying SF prices, then I expect things to run smoothly and have a premium living experience. Parking availability, condition of the parking structure and security of vehicles, functioning HVAC, elevator speed/availability/functionality, continuity and service of concierge team, management and treatment of delivery workers... all things that would operate seamlessly in a premium offering but fail miserably at Atlas. There are less expensive options elsewhere with similar amenities and significantly better living experience. 1/5 don’t recommend.

Atlas does far more than create an inclusive, high-end, luxury rental space in the heart of downtown Oakland. Atlas is an all-inclusive community, where people of diverse walks of life can mingle and build meaningful connections. The staff could not be more professional or well informed, and I am continually impressed with the high-quality operations from the janitorial staff to all levels of leadership. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be part of such a welcoming, diverse, safe community and to call it my home. Moving here from the Tri Valley I did not expect to feel much safer within the confines of my home than I did within those spaces given the rhetoric around safety and issues in Oakland, but Atlas sets a new bar in security as well as high-end luxury living. I love the diversity of my fellow residence and all of the opportunities provided for us to network and relax.

I love living here I think the maintenance crew is absolutely one of the best parts they're respectful and kind and they do a great and thorough job depending on who is at the front desk the concierge is very helpful and responsive. In general the building is kept very clean and I feel very safe living here with my son

Atlas surpassed my expectations for apartment communities. I’m a transplant from the South. Most apartment communities are very pricey with way less amenities. Atlas is a hidden gem. The amenities are above and beyond any other apartment community in their price range. It’s feels safe, the decor throughout is immaculate and staff on duty 24/7. The leasing process was very streamlined and the leasing agent Rechel was phenomenal. Everything was smooth from touring to getting moved in. I recommend anyone looking for a great community priced affordably to definitely come by and see Atlas.
Rachel was absolutely amazing - walked into Atlas without an appointment and she was more than willing to show me and my husband around. Fell in love with the amenities and decided that was our home for the next 12 months before even touring the apartments.
Atlas community is far beyond any apartment living than I have ever experienced. The detail that was put into this community is amazing. From all the amenities to top tier services offered thru mobile apps with just a touch of the finger is so hassle free. The decor is immaculate. There is concierge around the clock if needed. Atlas did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend Atlas to everyone in the market for a great apartment home.

I am upset about the guest policy change recently. I moved in in June and SPECIFICALLY asked about this when touring because I love to have my family visit me. It is ridiculous to limit it to two people, I literally cannot have my immediate family over for a bbq by the pool or even my sister and her kids. Please adjust this or at minimum allow us to reserve these communal areas so guest management can be handled better!

Atlas has the best amenities in Oakland. Heated pool, BBQs, pizza oven, numerous lounge/study areas, in particular on the 41st floor along with the expansive gym. A very modern experience using phone apps and email to receive packages, unlock doors, and communicate with other residents

I love living in the Atlas apartment. The staff is friendly and courteous, the amenities are beautiful. The building is kept extremely clean and well maintained and the maintenance crew are always friendly, timely and very professional.
I have lived here over a year, the amenities and common areas are top notch. Having said that almost everyone I know is not renewing their lease. Management is pretty much nonesistant, requests are completely ignored. BBQs are always broken, rules rarely enforced, some weekends are like spring break with bottles and cans strewn about, street noise including gun shots can be heard through inadequately insulated windows. Residents are constantly breaking the number of guest rules making it so use of the amenities is all but fruitless. The cushions by the pool have never been cleaned and have a year's worth of human built up on them. Parking is expensive with spots hard to find. Want your apartment to smell like weed all day long - then move to Atlas.
I love the building’s design, aesthetic and its amenities. The front desk staff are always helpful and courteous, as are the parking staff. I love how the Atlas app makes it easy to book appointments and events, file maintenance requests, communicate/barter with other residents and to stay in the loop regarding any events and going-ons in the community.
With the exception of the filthy windows spoiling an otherwise magnificent view of the bay area, the Atlas is a wonderful place to live. Friendly, courteous staff and terrific amenities.

385 14th Street. Atlas apartments is a beautiful peaceful living environment. The building maintenance team and concierge are top-notch. Everyone is respectful and professional. The amenities are great and they keep the building so clean. I feel really safe and at peace hear.

I’ve been living in the Atlas for several months now and everyday wonder if I’m living a dream. It’s like living in a fancy hotel resort here. Sometimes I never want to leave the place. The amenities are all top notched, especially the top level panoramic view gym and courtyard pool/hot tub. The building also does a great job with organizing events for the residents so there’s a strong sense of community here. Also, our leasing agent Addison is always so friendly and responsive. In fact, all the staff here are friendly and great!
Joseph and the whole team have been so amazing! I am obsessed with this building and I know that I’m going to meet some of the best people around! And that’s all due to the amazing team that were able to help me!
This building really was the hands down winner in my apartment search. At atlas I was able to find a unit at the right price with more amenities than I expected. India in the leasing office was very helpful. She was able to help to find the absolute perfect at the right price with move in specials. Thanks!
First of all the building and amenities are top notch. There simply does not exist a gym with a better view in the entire Bay Area. The staff are all wonderful. We had India as our leasing agent and she answered every question we had and always checks in on how we’re doing whenever we see her in the building. To top it all off the fellow residents are all incredibly friendly. I’m really enjoying my stay at Atlas.

The atlas building is amazing and everyone at the concierge is so nice. However, I felt that as soon as I paid the deposit and signed the lease I was dropped and nobody's concern.
