Property Ratings at Aspen Pointe Apartments
Ever since the management company changed , this place is no longer nice to live in. The previous company and manager were awesome. However new company took over in June 2023 and they’re all about money. Our trash/water/seer charge went up from 26$ to 75$. Also, in your resident portal you can see what amount is due. We’ve been paying the exact amount that shows in there, thinking all bills paid. Right? WRONG! Few days after rent is paid, you’ll have a past due balance of something ridiculous. I have checked all the charges and it certainly seems like everyone is getting charged twice for the water/trash/sewer. So that’s an extra 200$ on top of your base rent. The pool opened up a month later instead of Memorial Day. I wonder if they will keep it longer at all. This is not what I signed in my lease. I cannot wait to move from here. Please do not move here unless you like getting surprised charges every month.

We're sorry we did not meet your expectations. We understand the frustration with the utilities. The previous management company should have applied these back-dated charges to your account. Moving forward, we have implemented our monthly utility fee. This ensures that you will receive a single charge that will be the same every month. We are sorry the pool was not open earlier. We started the process of opening the pool once we took over. We needed to find and schedule a vendor to come out and ensure the pool was safe for our residents. This did cause a delay as many vendors were booked for the season. Now that we have the first pool opening, we can open the pool sooner next year.
This apartment complex is great. They are very attentive on everything that they do. Maintenance does all maintenance within 24 hours which is great. The neighbors are wonderful very friendly kid friendly pet friendly could not ask for more with apartment living.

They recently 'sprayed' for roaches. All it did was bring in more and make the gnats more aggressive. The apartment has no insulation from outside. Bugs crawling from under the walls and windows. Its going on three weeks and no one has called us back about our complaints.

Aspen Pointe offers a clean and safe place to stay on the outskirts of Indy. The location is amazing. You are close to anywhere you’d want to go. The staff is pretty amazing too. They are very friendly, honest, and responsive. I haven’t had many issues, but the little ones that did occur were taken care of immediately. I’d recommend these apartments to anyone. Rm ~ 66
Mark & Amber have been extremely helpful with our entire moving process! They made sure to do everything they could to make our move as easy as possible. Our apartment is spacious and everything is updated! My dogs love having the park to run at & I enjoy walking around the complex with them. I am very happy with our move here. #147

If you are looking for an amazing and quiet community this is it! These apartments are very well taken care of, and the staff is on point! Mark and Amber were always very welcoming and didn't mind taking the time to listen! They were quick to handle any issues we had and always pleasant about it! The maintenance man was always very polite qnd took care of issues quickly! I never waited more than a day to get my maintenance done. The property itself is very well kept and you can tell they take pride in it! I have no hesitation to refer someone here!! Keep up the good work Aspen team!
Hallways and entry way are dirty. There were cigarettes on the floor for weeks. The entry way also smelled. I am a non smoker but could smell cigarette smoke throughout the building. Even in my top floor unit. The property is extremely overpriced for a low level apartment. The flooring is cheap and started to come up in my unit. Maintenance came and used glue to push it back together. Never again will I rent or recommend these apartments to anyone!
Just got one of the newly renovated 2 bed/1 bath apartments and I am in love. Great space in a decent neighborhood that's 15 minutes away from downtown and any store you could need in the Indianapolis area. You are also right next to the airport for convenience and very rarely do I hear a plane go by and even then it's not loud. Staff is very friendly and attentive, when I moved in and noted a few issues with the apartment someone was there to fix the issues within the hour. Sadly I moved in too late to try the pool but it also looks new. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be nearby the hustle of downtown but still wants that pleasant slice of suburbia.
These apartments were terrible when we first moved in last year. Management was all over the place as well as maintenance not being professional. They've upgraded the apartments to livable ones and upgraded the management and maintenance to people who actually helped out when they could. I would rate "Decatur Woods" as a negative 1 and the upgraded Aspen Pointe at a 4 until all buildings are remodeled.
