I lived on this property for a little over two years. Let me start by saying that I truly loved my apartment. I lived in a 2BR/2BA with a loft, and the high ceilings were wonderful. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. The apartment did not cool or heat properly. Every summer, my electricity bill skyrocketed because the HVAC unit was constantly overworked trying—and failing—to cool the space. I raised this issue with both management companies (Greystar and Bozzuto), and neither made a meaningful attempt to resolve it. I was repeatedly dismissed, passed back and forth, and ultimately expected to pay higher rent despite these unresolved issues. The water pressure was also deplorable. After moving out and taking a shower in my new apartment, I realized just how much I had been suffering. For two years, I dealt with inconsistent, extremely low water pressure. When I raised this concern with management, I was initially blamed for the issue, which was absurd. Eventually, external plumbers were brought in, yet the problem remained unresolved. When I brought this issue to Bozzuto (new mgmt), I was given false promises that the issue would be addressed—again, contingent on paying more in rent. Absolutely not. It felt like a complete scam. Overall, the building itself is fine, and the neighbors are pleasant. However, poor management and major unresolved maintenance issues create unnecessary stress and make the living experience uncomfortable. One final note: the frequency of fire alarms going off is completely unacceptable. They occur at all hours of the day and night. In all my years of renting, I have never experienced anything like it. If you are considering this building, I strongly urge you to carefully weigh the pros and cons and decide whether the downsides are something you can truly tolerate.

I lived here in a 1x1 for a year from 2024-2025. The apartments are very spacious and I often did not hear neighbors other than briefly walking the halls. Lots of working professionals and a few families. Considering the location and cost of living in the area, it truly is a bang for your buck. Management was Greystar when I lived here, not sure how new management is. I had a “traditional” apartment instead of upgraded and preferred it more than their upgraded units! Very well kept and would have continued living here if I didn’t move states.
I was impressed how well maintained the unit has been. I am pretty happy with the floor plan and quiet neighborhood, so far.

The Ashton at Dulles Corner Community Mgt Team members is very quick in handling equipment malfunction. We have 2 incidences, The restroom and the washer, both were fixed and managed in several hrs.' after the phone reports.

Both the leasing office team and maintenance team are very unresponsive, especially with maintenance requests and other issues. I had to submit 5 tickets in some cases to get an issue addresses, and even then it was not fully addressed.

Ashton has been great! Management is very nice and usually quick to address your concerns. They are very strict about the non smoking policy which is nice for those of us that have kids! I think updating wall colors in the apartments are the only thing they could do better tbh. But overall great experience!

Despite multiple requests, basic problems like communal carpet damage and garage access remain unresolved for months. Do not move to Ashton at Dulles. The leasing staff will mislead you, only to deliver a subpar living experience. Once you're locked into a lease, prepare to be met with indifference from the on-site staff. They'll dismiss your concerns with condescending remarks, and little to no help. The apartments are overpriced for quality you get (Non functioning AC, stolen/“lost” packages, random entry to your apartment with no communication, etc. ). Avoid this place at all costs! It's a money pit and a headache waiting to happen.

Our experience is not great at all. I’m not sure if it’s management or even ownership, but there does not seem to be any consideration for residents with maintenance issues. Imagine having maintenance people randomly coming in your unit, tell you that’s there a problem, and no follow up for 3 - 4 months. Imagine having to call maintenance to follow up with the issue (that they discovered) for them to not follow through with when they will complete it. We were told that they would be up to fix our issue “momentarily”. We’re still waiting on that moment. I can’t wait to leave.

This is the best apartment complex/ community that I have ever lived in. Everything is so well-taken care of from the beautiful landscaping, gorgeous courtyard with a pool, grills, outdoor patios to the great apartments. The maintenance and staff are extremely friendly and if there is ever a request for help, it is taken care of the same day!

I have lived at Ashton at Dulles Corner for two years and have truly enjoyed our living experience throughout this time. I'm a military veteran and have lived in many different places domestically and abroad, and Ashton is one of the few places that have genuinely felt like home. Pros: * Wonderful management and front office staff - I am already seeing such positive indications of this living experience only getting better. The new property manager, Bobby Scott, has been nothing short of amazing. Christina at the front office has also been wonderful and Judy, immensely helpful. * Maintenance works on issues quickly. * The curb appeal of the property is not only inviting and aesthetically pleasing to visitors, but it makes me and my family feel happy to call this place home. * Food truck events. * Swift action from management when there are residents or visitors violating the no-smoking policy for the property. * The amenities. * The flooring. The absence of carpeting in my apartment is something my allergies are thankful for. * Residents, for the most part, are friendly and respectful. There are occasional bad apples like the ones I mention in my list of cons. Cons: * Inconsiderate neighbors at times regarding noise (it's not constant but can still be a nuisance) *this is beyond management's hands because it's sporadic and during times when the office is closed. * Residents leaving trash bags in the trash room when the chute is fully functional.

This is a wonderful apartment complex, they take great pride in making sure everything is clean and residents feel comfortable and cared for. The leasing team is amazing and are always super helpful especially Ms. Judy and Mr. Scott. They have amazing communication and work hard to make sure residents have a positive experience by planning events or setting up food trucks. The building is clean, smells amazing, and is well maintained and whenever I’ve had a small issue maintenance has responded quickly and efficiently to get it resolved. I am super grateful to everyone from the Ashton for creating such a positive experience for me and I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a safe, clean, and well located apartment community.

Living at the Ashton is a good bang for buck in this area. Professional staff as well. As with any community, there are pros and cons, however the pros far outweigh the cons.

One of the Best places to live in Herndon, VA. I've been offered opportunities to live at other places in the surrounding areas, but nothing matches or surpasses the Ashton at Dulles Corner. Ashton at Dulles Corner is a great apartment complex! Apartments have a great floor plan, are very big and the pool area is very nice. The area is quiet and surrounded by green spaces. The community itself is good, most people stick to themselves.

Overall, the experience has been neutral. We’re happy to be located near our workplace, but overall, we haven’t been entirely content. The staff isn’t welcoming at all. The apartment for the most part is nice, but the fact that extra charges have to be made at the last minute, make it a huge inconvenience. It’s a nice community, but I think it will be the first and only year that I will be residing here.

I have no complaints about living here! The staff is friendly, neighbors are quiet and polite, the grounds are well kept and the location could not be better. The only thing I would change is the kitchen cabinet color lol

The apartments are spacious and beautiful. We absolutely loved our gas fireplace this winter.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are undergoing several projects in the very near future to improve the exterior of the community. We hope that in completing these projects you will notice a major difference.
Living here may change my mind about ever buying a home again. This property makes renting a better option than owning a home - at least until the rental prices change for the worse. If the rent stays relatively low without a huge jump, I will stay here. If not - I will bail out.

I've been living in apartments since 2014 and so far this community is BY FAR, my most favorite. Easy to schedule a tour, easy to communicate with leasing, easy to move, quick responsiveness to maintence.

For the most part the apartment is a good place to rent. The fire alarms go off FREQUENTLY, often in the middle of the night. If I had young kids or a dog, living here literally would not be a possibility because of the alarms. It’s caused by testing as well as actual alarms. When it comes time to renew, we’ll be looking to live elsewhere that is more accommodating for people who need to work from home.
