I truly had the best experience with Ashley Station the moment I walked through the doors of the leasing office. The staff members were welcoming and most of all, friendly and professional. Yolanda was the leasing consultant that walked me through the entire process of renting an apartment. She remained in contact with me until the end of the process. She always returned each and every call; along with provided answers/solutions to questions that surfaced. It was a pleasure working with her. The move in process was flawless. Roaches. Roaches. German cockroaches everywhere. Maintenance only sprays via "Terminix" every other Monday, and only if you request it. Was told that the bugs must have come from "my furniture or boxes kept in storage". My furniture and boxes were never stored outside my residence and the previous community had no bug problems or issues with scheduling pest control as needed by the residence of the community. I've researched this issue with other new residents as well as some old and at least 3 others have the same roach problem and were told that the bugs may be coming from a box previously stored. The apartment was not properly cleaned when I moved in, aged dust on the vents and dirty stained shower tiles and tube. Also, the complex doesn't accept money orders "without prior approval" for rent. You must have a checking account or use a credit card (3% convenience fee) to pay. Lastly, I was told at the time of signing that they only have 14month leases and found out a week ago that they actually have 6 month and 12 month leases as well. I almost forgot to mention, they don't give tenants a full copy of your signed lease with all the documents you initial and sign (10-15 or so forms i.e. addendums etc), you get the front page of you lease if that and some other stuff but not a full copy of all forms you've signed etc.
A very good place to live if you're looking for affordable apartment life near midtown Columbus. The apartments/townhouses are updated and quite nice; and the prices are excellent for such ample space and open floor plans. The neighborhood contains lots of children and the walls are paper thin, so it is very noisy during the day. And the maintenance staff, while exceptionally sweet, take a very long time to get things fixed, especially if a part needs to be ordered. All in all, if you're looking for somewhere affordable and pleasant, and don't mind the sound of children playing, you will enjoy Ashley Station!
Ideal for an elderly person or couple. Quiet, easy access, landscaped, maintenance on sight, and friendly office personnel. These apartments are close to hospitals and doctors that I visit on a regular basis, which makes it easier to do so. It is also close to shopping, and if you don't have a car, to the bus lines with bus stops very close plus means to get transportation to anywhere you need to go. We have a pool, work out gym, and access to computers and the internet for kids to use after school. Your neighbors usually are here for a long time, as well as they provide apartments for our military who will be here temporarily. All in all a nice place to live for anyone no matter what you need.
Ashely Station in Columbus Georgia is a little peace of coziness. It's where you can come home from a busy day at work and relax and enjoy your spacious apartment. They have fun activities for the residents each month and playgrounds for the kids. A swimming pool and gym on the premises. Safety is a plus, they have on site security. Ashley station is the best kept secret in Columbus.
The staff and complex is great. The staff is very nice and always helpful and they also do a great job keeping the complex beautiful. They also have plenty of activities throughout each month for all the ages that live in the complex. If anything come in and check them out, they have very good prices for each size apartment.
Perfect if you need to be around doctors, of all kinds, hospitals, nursing homes,or rehab centers. All within walking distance from the apartments. Also not far from downtown as well as the shopping malls.
