If I could give zero stars, I would. Living at Ascend at Red Rocks for the last 3.5 months has been one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. The management team is shockingly incompetent. I was recently charged for electricity on my rent, even though I pay Xcel Energy myself. I did exactly as the manager asked and sent them my payment receipt. Then, nothing. For weeks, they ignored my emails and calls. After I hounded them, they finally fixed it, but then had the audacity to slap me with a late fee from their original mistake! They are now rudely telling me I have to pay for a late fee that was 100% their fault. It's unbelievable. This is the standard here. When we moved in, the apartment was a mess, and we found that some parts inside our refrigerator were broken. They promised to replace the parts in a week. That was almost four months ago! We've put in work orders and called more times than I can count, and it still has not been fixed. I am paying rent to live in a place with an appliance that hasn't been fully functional since the day we moved in and a management team that creates more problems than they solve. The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts. As you can see from many other reviews, this is a pattern of neglect. I truly hope the owners or corporate office see these reviews and realize that the people running this property are driving it into the ground. If I could get out of my lease today, I would. Save yourself the headache and the money—rent somewhere else.

The staff in the leasing office does next to nothing to help, they send out empty ended notices about problems, but don’t actually do anything about the issues, they are rude and incompetent avoid this place.

Unprofessional application process. I was communicating with someone over email who told me to apply for a three bedroom and that it was available, didn't mention I should put a holding fee on it, so I paid my application fee and put in the application, and less then 12 hours later they said there were no more three bedrooms left. So they asked for my application fee without giving me full information that someone else was about to take the apartment I was applying for (and without telling me that a holding fee was even an option so that I could reserve it for myself). Very discouraged by this, they tricked me into paying the application fee for an apartment they knew would be unavailable just to make money, and I am not going to pursue living here.

Literally do not waste your money. This place was cheap and thats why we moved here but they suck. The maintenance team never actually fixes anything (our ac filter is cracked and they said its fine doesnt affect the air coming through). They have a nasty rodent problem so bad that our car wires were eaten and they said "we know there is a problem". On top of this we asked to do a 60 day termination for May 21 and they didnt accept our paperwork until March 30 and now we cant move out till end of month and got stuck paying for more days at this awful place. Do not waste your time or money

Please note, air conditioners may need to be run continuously in order to reach the desired temperature, especially in the hotter months. If anything within your home remains in need of attention, please submit an official maintenance request online so that our team is aware this issue is ongoing and can tend to it. You'll find it is standard practice for a written notice-to-vacate to be required prior to ending a lease agreement. We apologize for any confusion you may have held about this and for any inconvenience this has caused. We understand you have been in touch with the Property Manager and have come to a mutual agreement to rectify this. We sincerely hope to improve your experience here overall throughout the remainder of your time at our community.
Old squeaky wooden buildings with no insulation between floors. Horrible if you have active upstairs neighbors. Trash management is really bad, no lids on trash bins so critters and wind blow it all over the place. Also poor supervision of furniture dumping, stocked around trash bins. Storage facilities are unsupervised and have been broken into twice. Management is bad, maintenance requests are bad. The lease is over 20 pages so anything that goes wrong, will be your fault. Find a better place to live.

All exterior trash bins do have lids but tend to be left open and we are trying hard to monitor this , as well as the large items being dumped and signage has been put up on all dumpster enclosures.
