As one of the most architecturally diverse areas in San Antonio, the Near East Side has a rich history as one of the city’s oldest suburbs. The development of the area started in the late 1800s, and coincided with the construction of Fort Sam Houston, just to the north. The neighborhood is home to one of the more prominent architectural displays of San Antonio, Terrell Castle, a Romanesque-Revival residence turned event space.

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with Residences at Salado Property Management.The staff are friendly and helpful...Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs,replacing/removing furniture,or servicing the plumbing and electricity,maintenance quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment.I intend to continue renting from from Residences at Salado for the remainder of my years in Residences at Salado,and I strongly recommend their properties to all of the incoming graduate students looking for housing.In some ways,your property management company can make or break your living experience and with Residences at Salado, its all in the services. I couldnt be happier.

Infestation
We moved here 3 months ago and since moving in we have had both our vehicles broken into, the night security has been accused of breaking into storage units but that is still under investigation. We are asking to terminate our lease early over the lack of management. Currently we have been without ac for 2 days (middle of summer) and pending a response from management and also corporate (Franklin property management) save your money and skip Artsian and her sister properties. Our neighbor told us they were getting ready to leave because their son found a loaded gun at the park. Since living here we have had nothing but problems from bats to roaches. Many of our rooms have cracks in them that allowes for the bats to access the units freely. Management denies any responsibility for repairing the cracks or storing the infestations.

Blessed to have my own place
I am very blessed and fortunate to have a place to live I was homeless for 3 months found these apts I love my apt The staff here are excellent they are friendly and they are concern of any need you may have I love the activities they have here Jason Gena Paula Brandy and the rest God bless them all I am blessed to have my own place this is my home I simply love it here If you are in a need of a place stop by

Bad apartments
They seemed like nice apartments when they showed them to us. But when we moved in to ours it was dirty, smelled of smoke and had cockroaches everywhere including the dishwasher as well and that didn't even work either. Neighbors are loud no respect for others property kids running around with no respect for authority. Cops are here daily do not move here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
The layout of the apartment is very nice. But the apartment complex are INFESTED WITH ROACHES!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT TILL MY LEASE IS OVER TO GET OUT OF HERE!! They supposedly have a good company that comes and sprays, it seems like water. Management doesn't do anything about this problem!! Now I know why rent is so cheap. But it isn't worth the headache I've had to deal with. Disgusting!!! Please take my word and keep looking.

Management at these apartment complex are rude. As soon as your rent is late their ready to kick you out. The kids out there have no respect for adults, other kids and people's cars. I wouldn't wish my worst enemies to live here.
