Been two years, The place is wonderful the people are friendly. Maintenance is exceptional. Views and location. Property is centrally located and shops are all in walking distance.

Love the location and the management team is great. Apartments do need updating which I believe is happening as units turn over. My biggest complaint is Artessa is advertised as luxury urban living with expansive views of the Quarry golf course. Unfortunately there is a tree blocking 80 percent of our view of what should be an incredible view of the Quarry back nine. Management says they can’t trim/top the tree. We are in our 5th year here and the tree continues to grow and obstruct more and more of our view.

Artessa is a nice, quiet community. Our apartment feels like a HOME - it’s not what you typically think of an apartment as. The central location and walkability is fantastic! The office staff is very responsive and easy to work with. The maintenance staff is friendly and quick. They are very timely in answering requests. We are going on year 3 here and are very satisfied.

Clean environment. Large apartment. Great view. Secured parking. Secured package delivery facilities. Plenty of shopping and dinning within walking distance. Entertainment activities as well.

Overall living at Artessa is a positive experience. We especially like the security features and the gated parking garage. The views from the patio/balcony are sublime. The one negative is the less-than-stellar groundskeeping maintenance of the eastern grounds. It's not terrible, but a little lacking in regard to a luxury apartment complex.

This is the first time I've lived on my own outside of a dormitory, so it's been a bit of a learning curve for me. But! Everyone here has been so kind, and understanding that I feel very comfortable and not as anxious about it. My husband and I love it here and have no complaints, Artessa is wonderful!

It is decent for the location. I think the valet for the garbage pickup could be more consistent and the elevators breakdowns could be less frequent, but it is overall better than most apartment complexes.

Not impressed - while the location is ideal, the grounds are dirty and full of bird scat, the apartments are worn. The fire alarms constantly go off and the elevators are often in need of service.

It has been great! Great location! The maintenance crew is quick to respond if needed. However, the golf balls are a little unnerving at times, and many of the gates do not lock.

I like their trash system not only valley but each floor has their trash room. They are very clean and maintain the outside. The staff in the office and maintenance are very kind and on top of getting things done.

Everything is acceptable, except for the level of cleanliness, which needs improvement. Elevators, fire alarms and doors security need some attention. After all, this is a 'Luxury' rentals place, so these things should not be an issue for the residents.

My Wife and I were looking a couple of things: a living situation placing us closer driving distance to my Wife's job at ST Philips' College, and a downsizing experience to share. The experience We've had at Artessa Residents have gone beyond our expectations by also providing a sense of community.

We thoroughly enjoy our first attempt at downsizing. Moving to the Artessa has proven to be great! My only drawback is visitors mistakenly parking in assigned parking places.

Generally good ?? Very responsive to maintenance requests. Great convenient location. Parking is convenient and easy. Trash pickup good. Rents seem reasonable.

It’s a nice place with a gym and a grocery store all within walking distance. The area is great and there’s trails for walking/running nearby.

If your looking around the area for an apartment and don’t care it things are followed up on or people who genuinely care, i’d suggest another apartment complex. We consider Artessa the worst of the best. It has the potential of being a true luxury complex, but doesn’t have the leadership and follow through to go from average to luxury.

I do tell folks how nice it is to live in the Artessa. Have friends at The Pearl and we compare apts all the time, that place sort of fun to visit but don’t wanna live there.

It is a privilege to live in such a wonderful complex. Everyone is so kind and will help you if they see your struggling over something. There are all ages here and the atmosphere is all about kindness to other tenants, young or elderly. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Great location and views, but complex is showing its age. Updates needed to compete with other communities in the area. Advertised as luxury urban living, but outdated finishes and appliances are far from luxurious.

Artessa at Quarry Village is in a very nice location that is accessible to the highway, airport, shopping, dining, golf and other forms of recreation. Artessa @ Quarry Village has tremendous potential to be a luxury apartment residence when it is effectively maintained and properly secured.

Nice community, building, and location. Very poor leasing experience and unit condition upon move in. Has been much more difficult than it should be to fix these issues as well.

Great location and amazing views! The complex is showing its age, but the management team is working on updates and upgrades. Best location in town; close to downtown and the airport.

Sad to move. It’s the perfect location in San Antonio; central to everything you need. Golf course is a perfect view. However, the management has been awful.
