The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Artemis Midtown
I have lived here for a few years, and the living conditions have significantly deteriorated in the past eight months. Last March/April, the complex was bought out, and the new management has been unresponsive and ineffective. I’ve sent multiple complaints about major issues and received no response. Worse, when serious security or maintenance problems arise, residents are rarely notified. The elevator breaks down at least once a month and can remain out of service for an entire weekend. Communication about repairs is inconsistent, leaving residents in the dark about timelines or resolutions. The garage gate has been broken for six months, leading to multiple car break-ins. The damage was caused by repeated accidents, but there has been no communication from management about a permanent fix or measures to improve security. Security issues extend beyond the garage. Many doors in the building have broken latches, and packages are frequently stolen. At one point, a main lobby door was propped open for weeks, and the ground-floor door in one stairwell was jammed shut—a significant safety hazard. The fire alarms are another nightmare. They malfunction frequently, often in the middle of the night (e.g., 1 a.m., 3:30 a.m.), causing major disruptions. Inspections triggered by these malfunctions are scheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, leaving little time for residents to prepare. Parking is another frustration. The spots are so small that larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks often sustain damage from tight spacing. My own car has been scratched due to the lack of space. The only positive about this complex is the location, but there are far better options just a block away. While this building is slightly cheaper, the constant problems, lack of communication, and safety concerns make it clear that you get what you pay for—or, in this case, what you don’t. I strongly advise exploring other options before considering this property.
I love giving good reviews... but this has been one of the worst living experiences I've had. Pictures online are much better than in person. Pictures definitely sold me and the area is where I wanted to be - signed site unseen as I was moving states. A lot of 5 star reviews are from TOURS or recommending leasing staff - not actual residents. The building is a bit older and honestly feels very cheap. From the flooring and the amenities, they seem like it was the lowest cost option. My flooring in my apartment has cracks in between where dust comes up from underneath, constantly causing my floors to remain dusty...not to mention the floor is not flat throughout the apartment. The building and my unit always has a smell to it... like an old smell where the vents and filters have not been cleaned for probably a decade and I hate having my air on for this reason. The windows are so thin, I can hear the constant construction next door, and people talking in normal voices outside at the pool (I'm on the 6th floor), and windows are closed. Feels like you're outside. The gym equipment is absolutely horrible. There are 3 cardio machines - 2 of which have been broken for over 6 months, and the other treadmill shakes violently where you cannot even walk - need to have a speed over 4 to not have issues. Also, the machines look like they haven't been cleaned in years. The entrance to the building also does not have a vestibule, so when I’ve had packages delivered, they literally are sat outside the front door on the street basically. Also.. moving in was horrible. There is one elevator in the entire building and it literally takes 5 minutes to get to your floor and you cannot reserve it... also breaks down every other month and you will receive emails CONSTANTLY about it. The unit itself is a nice layout, and I like the size of the closet and the bathroom. There are so many more options in the area that are $100-200 more that would have been a way better option. I moved in and my unit looked like it had not even been cleaned. Hair from the previous tenant literally everywhere, dirty shower & sink area, not even the mirror wiped down. There was food in the sink, the patio door has cracks where bugs can get in, all of the outlets are upside down, and a lightbulb was out which was the least of my problems, but feels like again, the unit hadn’t even been checked out before moving in. TERRIBLE. Absolutely NOTHING luxury about this building.
The one elevator in this building is constantly broken. When it is working, it is very slow and overcrowded due to the poor design of the building that necessitates almost everyone using it to get anywhere. The staff is often non-existent, so don't expect anyone to be there to show you around, even if you have an appointment. Many units have a combination washer-dryer that is small and not good quality.
Property Manager at Artemis Midtown, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your feedback. We regret the challenges you encountered with the elevator and the team's availability. Your concerns are important to us, and we are diligently addressing these issues. Your comments on the washer-dryer units have been duly noted. Your input is a valuable part of our efforts to continually improve our services and facilities.
Avoid these apartments if you can. There are countless issues that happen each week involving stolen mail packages, car break-ins, and numerous security measures not being met. The key fobs occasionally don’t work, and then you’re stuck not being able to get in the parking garage. The staff here is the absolute worst, they are in the office a few HOURS a WEEK and are so rude and never helpful. Anywhere would be better than here.

Absolutely one of the worst places we have ever lived. In the “gated” garage our cars have been broken into 5+ times with my husbands windows being broken two of those times. Management’s only response being “did you file a police report and it’s gated so that shouldn’t be happening”, nothing has been done to increase security or make the gates more secure. We have also had packages stolen more times than I can count. And often times when we go in the leasing office to talk to someone about the issues there is no one to be found. Overall this place just is not worth it.
I’ve lived at the Artemis for 1.5 years now and have loved every second of it! I’ve never felt more at home in an apartment community than I do here. Not only is the property amazing, but the staff is one of a kind! Emily in the front office goes above and beyond to make sure our every need is met :)
I have had nothing but good experiences with both the office staff and the maintenance workers. In fact, I have already recommended this community to a co-worker who will be moving in soon.
You all have been very professional and friendly. Any issues I've had have been quickly resolved. I really enjoy this location.
Staff is friendly, apartments are very well kept, maintenance is great and always fixes any issues, the pest control is proving to be working since i haven't had a single pest issue and that' a big deal to me.
The package delivery system is unsecure, and we have had a few packages stolen before we could get home to retrieve them. During COVID, it is necessary to order stuff online and have it shipped here. The maintenance requests have been slow and inadequate.
Courteous, professional, quick. It was great service, especially with everything going on!
The price for what you were getting. Though the airbnbs were less once new management showed up I was still paying $50 for a crowded parking garage. Maintenance did a great job but everything felt a little old and dirty. The new management company seemed to be addressing these concerns.
