I moved into the Arthouse in March and was initially drawn to the community here because of the authenticity of Joanna, one of the leasing agents. The community felt lived in and more like a home than any of the other complexes I visited. The space itself has an attractive open layout and the natural lighting in my unit is amazing. I love the shared spaces (ie. gym, pool, etc..) a lot and seem to use them often. The building is the newest one on the block here in Southtown which is big plus. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a new home close to a vibrant youthful downtown area.

This complex is kept up to date and in my opinion is in such a great area. With access to the river and great eats you are one block away from a great time at all times. More importantly the staff here genuinely makes me feel safe welcomed and always available when I need them most. I love art house!! We love this place and the way the staff has treated us makes us love it more.

I lived here for a year and currently sitting in the office to upgrade to a bigger apartment. I loved living here, amenities are the best, the office staff are so friendly. Location is amazing you are in walking distance of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and the river walk. Parking garage, dog park with dog wash station, and a convenience store. This has been my favorite complex to live in yet!

Joanna, the leasing pro who assisted me with the lease process was immensely helpful. The apartments are all spacious, full of storage, brand-new and full of extremely nice stainless. The location features several really good breweries in the area as well as the San Antonio river walk. Also has a sizable gym and pool. Very good place, would recommend.

If I wasn’t moving out of town I would have renewed without question. The apt was beautiful, the location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the neighbors were so sweet and inviting. The weekends were a blast at the pool and everyone was so nice and easy to talk to. There’s so much in walking distance and it felt like there was a new bar or restaurant constantly popping up. Highly recommend living here!

I believe Art House is a great idea, if you wouldn't want to be in the center of downtown, and you don't want to pay a million dollars for a shoe box. They have all great amenities that are well kept, and great customer service in the front office. I recommend to friends, and anyone who's looking to check it out. Very nice to call this place home.

Everything you need to know: Art House is a…barely okay place to live. Here’s the details: Staff are pretty helpful and maintenance does respond fast to any problems. That’s good. All of the small random problems I’ve had in my apartment were handled professionally by staff. Maintenance comes quickly and also often maintains the pool area well during the day. There’s no pests problem at all. Pets are allowed which can either be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask. An important note is half of the apartments here are under Affordable Housing. So ask in advance if the specific unit you are looking at under it or not. Especially if you know you make “too much”. If you aren’t mindful of that could be wasting your time in applying and getting rejected by accident. I didn’t have this problem, but seen others go through it. Speak to staff first before applying. My biggest problem is due in large part of the pool area. If your balcony/patio faces the pool then prepare for a lot of noise! During the day it’s not a big deal for me but we have quiet hours where the pool hours are supposed to stop at 10pm. However, with the pool not physically closed, anyone with an apartment key can go in there. Meaning at 3am you will hear people partying in the pool after hours and yes, with your bedroom window facing the pool, you will hear everything. I’ve seen security called to tell drunks at the pool to wrap it up. And I’ve seen other neighbors enter into a shouting match after being woken up in the middle of the night. Yes, this happens often on weekdays too. It’s not just a weekend thing. And yes, we’ve addressed this issue with the staff before. We were told “that isn’t allowed.” Obviously. But nothing is ever really done after that. So the automatic messaging reply of “To reach out to their office for further discussion-“ isn’t helpful. We’ve already spoken to them many times in the past. Nothing changes. The only way to fix it is if they honestly just have the pool doors lock after hours or something. I went through a box of earplugs here. It’s probably a lot more quiet for those facing the “Backyard” or the exterior of the building. Seems like we got placed in the loud area unfortunately. That probably explained why the room option was available, but not worth the price. View is real nice though. Another thing to note. If your apartment has a lamppost directly in front of it, yes it will be on all night. A pair of blackout curtains is needed if you can’t sle

My daughter and I have nothing but positive experience at Art House. The process was so easy from your and application, to signing and moving in. The agents have been pleasant and welcoming. They are knowledgeable about the downtown area and full of great recommendations. We haven't had any maintenance issues but everyone we have crossed paths with as been friendly. We love our new apartment, the location, and everything it has to offer. Can't wait to enjoy the heated pool this winter.
