Located in between Chicago and Kenosha, Highwood is a small town with everything renters could ever need or ask for. Only a few miles west of Lake Michigan, Highwood is bookended by miles of green space and parks. The Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve rests on the north side of town, and Exmoor Country Club is located on the southern part of the suburb. Naturally, residents take full advantage of the outdoor beauty found in and around town. Renters in town flock to scenic Openlands Lakeshore Preserve for hiking, swimming, photography, and beachside picnics.

I have told the manager numerous times that the washing machine on my floor was broken and it still isn’t fixed and this all started at the beginning of the year. The maintaining of property here has definitely gone down hill, especially over the past year.

It's a place to live. Maintenance and maintenance staff are quick to respond and fix problems. It has an elevator in each building. The location is generally convenient. It's expensive for what you get (I've lived in 3bdrms with in unit laundry cheaper than my 1bdrm here). Everything has an extra cost (mail box lockers, pets, etc). West facing units are right next to the metra tracks, so it's not a quiet experience if you like having your windows open. Parking is atrocious. If you get home later than 6p, good luck parking anywhere near the building you live in. I'm not sure they even check for stickers... Most of the cars in spots are unstickered but parked in resident parking anyway.

I’ve been living here for over a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The location is fantastic, situated close to parks, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the neighbourhood or enjoy a fun day outdoors. The building is well-maintained, with friendly staff always available to assist residents. The amenities, including a fitness center and outdoor lounge, are fantastic for both relaxation and socializing. I love being able to host friends on the fire pits. Cons: 1) You can hear people/music playing through the vents. 2) Apartment rooms do not have ceiling lights/fans. 3) Windows do not have curtain rods, only blinds. This allows a lot of light to pass through. You have to install your own curtain rod to hang a curtain to get darkness in the rooms. 4) Kitchen is fairly small. 5) You are forced to sign up for parcel pending, although numerous times the package is left outside the locker. Pros) 1) People are quiet at night. They do turn off the music to sleep. 2) Apartment is spacious. 3) Parking is easy to find. 4) The area is very neat to be around. 5) There are plenty of sockets in each room to place lamps.

Definitely a 5 star property. The staff here is very caring and easy to talk to. The neighbors are really nice, property is kept up and cleaned everyday. I have never seen trash outside or broken cars nothing it's always clean. The maintenance guys get things done in a timely manner and are always there to help. We absolutely love it here and would like to stay here instead of buying a house like planned. Happy New Year!!!

Everything is very clean, updated, and the staff has been so wonderful and accommodating. I love the coffee machine and I can’t wait to use the gym! My blinds were missing the tilt wand so I put in a maintenance request. About an hour later, one of the maintenance men were at my door with a tilt wand and took care of the issue! Very timely!! It has been great living here so far.

The Arrive North Shore apartment complex is in an amazing location, with so much to do within easy walking distance. It is right across from Fort Sheridan, which has plenty to offer (Openlands Lakeshore Preserve, Ft. Sheridan Forest Preserve, the lake/beach, in addition to the Town of Fort Sheridan neighborhood itself, which is full of history and is a unique, interesting place). Just south of the complex is the downtown Highwood strip, which has plenty of restaurants and night life. Nearby Everts Park, along with the whole downtown area surrounding the Highwood Metra, often hosts fests, carnivals, etc., so there is always something fun to do locally (and again, within walking distance!). The complex itself is quiet and maintained extremely well. The grounds are kept up with and fully of plants/flowers/etc., while the buildings are cleaned routinely. The maintenance team is also phenomenal and always on top of everything right away.

Arrive North Shore is a great place to live. I haven't lived in an apartment in over 35 years, so it is nice to live in a place where everything is taken care of. The staff is very friendly and they get on service requests quickly. The apartment we live in is very nice - granite counter tops, gas stove, nice vinyl flooring in the living areas and soft carpet in the bedrooms. Good light in the bedrooms and living area, too. We are very happy, 3 months in!

Entering my third year and very comfortable here. Maintenance is very responsive and amenities are great. Nice and quiet, close to the lake, clean facilities, friendly neighbors, within walking distance to a variety of shops and restaurants.

Nice amenities, friendly, spacious and clean, plenty of parking and close to several restaurants. I love being on the first floor and having a private courtyard for our dog to run around in.

My fiance and I are so happy we chose Arrive North Shore! The apartment is very nice, clean and has nice appliances and granite countertops, which are beautiful. I was happy to have a gas stove, too! The staff here is incredibly helpful and they take care of any problems immediately. The area around the apartment complex is a beautiful, walkable little town. We hardly ever get in our car unless it is to go to work. We love where we live!

The Maintenance workers are the best! Shout out to BEN! Other than that, Property does have a lot of dog poop and nosy neighbors. All in all it has been a great experience here.

I absolutely love living here. The neighbors are all nice and considerate. The management here is very professional and caring. The maintenance crew is great and if there is a problem they take care of it in a timely manner. The property is very well kept grass cut no trash anywhere. All in all this is the best place to live. We love it here.

So far the apartment is super nice and the move went pretty smoothly. Leasing agents were helpful with answering questions during the touring, application, and signing process. I appreciate that there are elevators in every building. So far the community seems quiet and peaceful.

Quiet community, modern interior with large closets. Appliances are up to date and maintenance staff is actually helpful. Incredibly close to good coffee shops, restaurants, and metra station. All walking distance and beach is a mile run away!
