Property Ratings at Arlington Manor Apartments
Be careful about how much heat you consume during the winter months. My heating bill has been as high as $160 for one month. In my opinion, that's way too much. You also pay more based on how much others consume in your building. Management has switched heat utility companies but it hasn't really made too much difference.
Great size and layout. The master bedroom fit ALL my king size bedroom furniture. Including night stands dresser, chest etc. Without being cramped. The master walk in closet is huge but does need organization pieces. Still a fabulous feature. The storage room that's about the size of the master bedroom is an amazing bonus and money saver considering most people have to rent storage these days so it saves about $100-$200 a month on that alone. The second bedroom is a nice size as well. A double or even queen size bed fits nicely even with 1other furniture in the room and a nice size closet. The kitchen has all you need but it is small. Gas stove/oven,built in microwave and disposal. I love the pull out shelves and deep cabinets but the pantry although deep and large is hard to organize unless u add your own organization pieces because it does not have pull out shelves. Living room and dinning are a great size and layout. The balcony is a really nice feature. The laundry in the basement is a nice convenience as well. There is a gym ,and game room, licker roim, stauna etc.,but if you work you might not get to use it because it's only open when the office is open. The outdoor pool is nice and well maintained. The buildings are outdated and do need updates. They don't paint or update very often we have been there 4 or 5 year and they claim the carpet was new (no way!) And they still won't replace the carpet or paint yet. The shared space is in serious need up new carpet and fixes but it is cleaned weekly. They do repairs when called very quickly for the most part. I have found they tend to "forget" the more expensive repairs. The balcony does need a serious redo as well. The staff has always been very nice and quick to respond. They are really good at things like snow removal and landscape maintenance. Parking does not seem to be a problem either. You can pay $10 extra for covered assigned parking if you choose as well. They also allow pets for a small fee. We have never had major problems that were not addressed. There was a gas leak issue that took us a long time to find because it was hidden for lack of a better way to explain but was bad enough to make me ill ( which is how we even knew it existed) but they continued to come out until they finally figured it out with help from the gas company, and took the stove apart. It was fixed as soon as they knew what the issue was.Over all a good apartment and great space.
Great apartment, very spacious, keep grounds looking good
These are pretty big apartments for the price with large basement storage rooms (not cages). I've been here 12 years, and the few times I've had to call maintenance they've been very friendly and responsive. Overall my experience here has been a good one and I'd be comfortable recommending Arlington Manor to friends.
