I love the style of these apartments, and I think the community as a whole has a great atmosphere. However, there were issues with my roommate and I's room, like them not being cleaned properly when we moved in, animal scratches on furniture and stairs, and missing some important pieces (shower plug and all screens for windows). All it took were maintenance requests to fix most of these issues, though they should've been fixed before moving in.

I recommend this place to everyone that this about moving into an apartment! it’s in a great location and i love everything about it.

Arcadia is a beautiful community. It’s gated, quiet and close to everything you’ll need. The amenities in the leasing office look and feel like luxury. Bella was a doll when helping us get situated.

Arcadia is a great student housing option near UNCC. Bella, who works weekends at the front office, is always helpful and friendly — a real plus to the community! The amenities are solid: a resort-style pool, study lounges, a fitness center, sauna, and even a yoga studio. The apartments are modern, and the shuttle to campus makes getting to class easy. Definitely a good mix of comfort, convenience, and support.

I toured today with Bella (absolutely amazing!!) and the place was amazing! Bella was so sweet and so helpful!

The amenities here are so amazing! I definitely never expected something so nice from student housing, it feels like i’m on vacation when I go to the clubhouse. I love living here with my friends and the staff is always so friendly too.

I’ve lived at Arcadia since 2021 and I love it. I had some issues when I first moved in but they were all fixed quickly. The staff is nice and helpful, and I love my apartment. My room is big and I love studying in the clubhouse.

I love everything about Arcadia, the apartments are very nice, the staff in the club house answer and help you with anything that you need . The club house is soo nice. This is my very first time moving out and I can say I feel very comfortable, safe, and at home. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

They always have fun resident events that you actually want to attend. I always felt safe while living in my apartment and the only thing that could have made it better was to have the gate closed more. But all in all had a great experience!

Arcadia is one of the better places to live in the university area. The 5 bedroom apartment is affordable and comes with nice furniture and I have loved living here. It's a great community!

Arcadia student living is close to campus and a quick walk to the light rail which makes this place better than other complexes. Great people and a fun atmosphere to be around.

honestly, I haven’t had any issues with Arcadia. they always answer any questions and support throughout whatever concerns i have. my apartment is stunning and it was clean when i got it. the area is nice and the club house is impeccable. i recommend this to any college kids looking to stay near campus.

Arcadia is the best option for student living around UNCC

This complex is beautiful. The people that work at the leasing office are super helpful and I have not had any issues since i’ve moved here.

on’t think management, specifically Becky, the property manager, quite understands the unrealistic expectations they put on their residents. I’m interning this summer, working 9-5 everyday. I’m transferring to another apartment on site. They give us 24 hours to transfer, on a Wednesday. I was unable to get that day off work. It’s the last week of my internship and I’m giving presentations throughout the week. I called, spoke with a woman by the name Amara (spelling may be off) who was incredibly rude, stating she didn’t care it was inconvenient and that I was notified 2-3 weeks ago and should’ve gotten the day off. I called again, on a different day and spoke with a manager by the name of Amber, who was incredibly helpful and said she didn’t think it’d be a problem and would ask Becky, the property manager. I visited the office the same day, around 6:15 and spoke with Becky who was also incredibly rude. I notified her of the unfortunate conversation I had with her leasing agent and she wasn’t fazed, agreed with how the agent handled the situation and stated even our residents who are out of the country have one day, 24 hours, on that same Wednesday to transfer their belongings. She tried to give me a sob story about if I knew what they go through I’d understand. Let me tell you, there’s individuals out there with much more stress on their shoulders than Becky. And she didn’t seem like she enjoyed her current position and is taking it out on her residents. Avoid this apartment complex if at all possible. I mean, it’s some of the cheapest rent in town so I guess you get what you pay for

If I could give this complex and management a -5 star rating I swear I would. Carpet wasn’t done by move in date Tried to change move in date the day before we moved in Apartment wasn't cleaned (Everything was disgusting: splatters of things on blinds in kitchen, shoe prints on the couch, nothing swept or dusted, gum on floor, rubber glove in disposal) Water line broken on fridge (which flooded hallway/ room B) Towel rack’s broken Hand towel rack broken Paint missing from wall in room E Vent / light vent broken above stove Ice machine broken Dryer broken Shelves in fridge missing Multiple tv's didn't work Wifi didn't work wood floor has to be replaced in living room/ kitchen / hallway (Y’all knew they needed to be replaced but moved us in anyways resulting in us having to live around the floor being torn up) Apartment wasn’t inspected (anti theft pieces missing from windows Maintenance left our front door unlocked after our break in Maintenance left our lights on after leaving our door unlocked Maintenance did not pick up after themselves before they left our apartment unlocked (black stains left on our floor, ladder left in our living room) After requesting security system to be fixed we heard nothing back from y’all Management staff has lied to several of our parents regarding our break in Management has an extreme lack of professionalism and communication Management has a complete disregard for their tenants Security camera’s are broken (which was told to our detective) Front gate never works (y’all charged us approximately $100 for gate stickers) Foot gate doesn’t work Heat didn’t work twice when winter started Break in occurred A car was stolen A car window was smashed Etc.. They didn't do anything to help out break in situation because "they are required to". We asked your the alarm system (that was already installed in our apartment) to be fixed and they wouldn't because "they aren't obligated to". Other incidents have been entire apartment building growing mold and them making tenants leave and find a new place to live without compensation. Don't expect any of these amenities to be available 24/7 because "they don't have to upkeep these amenities".

We read the reviews and decided Arcadia couldn't possibly continue having so many problems. Wrong Wrong Wrong. Move in - disaster - assigned a different apartment and floorplan 1 week prior to move in. Apartment was filthy on move in day. constant problems with rent charges. Too many problems to list. Save yourself the hassle and expense - Do NOT move in here.

The most unorganized establishment you can imagine. New management with different rules every other month. I moved in two months late, had gun shots outside of my window, have had new fees and charges come up in the middle of a lease, strangers using the pool, and they never work with you on anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Awful customer service.

The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything including your upstairs neighbors walking across the floor...its dirty, stuff is always breaking, there's constantly drunk kids roaming around, and the staff is terrible and actually fixing apartment problems. Our kitchen appliances, act unit, and washer and dryer have broken more times than I can count and takes several weeks to fix. It's honestly not as good as it looks, I would definitely look somewhere else.

I moved in on August 1st, 2015 and there have been problems since day one. Actually, the day before I moved in, I learned from the previous tenant that the apartment has had mold problems in the past. I noticed within the first week that everything in my apartment was slightly damp. Towels, clothes, paper, they were all moist. I brought this issue up multiple times with management, as I was worried about the presence of mold reappearing, since the conditions of "cold" and "wet" were favorable. I was very vocal about my concerns over the AC and was either outright ignored or told my unit was working perfectly fine, despite the fact that when I first put in a maintenance request, I was told that numerous requests had been processed by the previous tenants concerning issues with the AC. Later that week, I went out and bought a humidity reader and apparently 80% indoor humidity was "perfectly fine" to Arcadia. This continued for over 2 months until my neighbors noticed mold in their closets and tipped us off to check our clothes for mold. We found mold in our closets, as well as a large, visible amount in the AC unit in the ceiling. We were subsequently placed in a hotel for the next 2 weeks. We were denied our requests for separate rooms or a food stipend, since they "were not required to accommodate us" and we "could just go back to the apartment to cook". Sounds sanitary, right? Cooking in an apartment with mold? Our request for a discounted rent was also denied, even though we didn't live in our apartment for half the month of October. After 2 weeks, my apartment was professionally cleaned and I was assured by management that the AC unit was completely fixed. My first night back in my own bed, I noticed that it was at 75% humidity in the apartment, despite being completely assured that the AC had been fixed. I was then promised a few things by management: dehumidifiers were to stay in the unit at all times until they could figure out they underlying cause of the humidity problem, the dehumidifiers were to be emptied daily by maintenance, indoor humidity readings were to be conducted daily, and gift cards were to be issued "for the inconvenience". The only thing they followed through on was the placement of the dehumidifiers in the apartment. The latest issue is that my apartment has been at 79 degrees for the past 3 days. Despite the unit being "completely fixed", the only function that works now is heat.

Office has went through so many changes since the beginning about 5 managers and they have students running the office, never return phone calls. Never follow through with anything questions. So glad when our lease is up. Property is abused by the students trash left laying around, pool constantly closed due to abuse. Security gate is never manned. Security code has never changed since we moved in. They have had a lot of crime 8 break ins the first week we moved in. Several after that. Would not recommend. (beautiful new facility is what caught our eye)

These new apartments are very nice and updated and the new clubhouse is incredible with the hot tub and lounge area in the pool, along with the game room, sauna, and outdoor movie screen! I love that in a four bedroom apartment, we all have our own personal bathroom. If I could, I'd live here for a long time!!
