I love these apartments, it’s always so calm plus there is two pools, a tennis court and a basketball court! Even a garden in the forest to plant vegetables or flowers!

I’ve lived here for 8 years and complete enjoy it. From the office staff to the maintenance crew to the property manager - they are all awesome! The view from my apartment is a pond view where I get to enjoy seeing all the geese and duck babies and my friendly muskrat that lives near me. The apartment is great! Anytime there is an issue - the maintenance crew is on the job. I would totally recommend living at Arbor Lakes. This is the best apartment complexes I’ve lived at.

Cops are here multiple times a week. You will find that there are drug activity going on throughout the property. A poorly managed property with a very dishonest staff. The units itself are old and rundown that need alot of attention. As far as the amenities go they aren't taken care of very well so it isn't something that's appealing to look forward to. I'd give it negative stars if I could. Look elsewhere and do not believe what the people tell you or what you read about this place, its not good.

Management lies constantly. Rude!!! Anything that happens to your 1000 yr old apt you will be blamed for. Management seems to think you are there for them instead of it is their job!!! Why have a lease when they pick and choose who and what is enforced. It was the best but now I feel like I am walking on egg shells all the time. NO Matter what----you will be blamed for all that happens. They are a big company and basically bully.
I would give it zero if I could. after 3 years living here it keeps getting worse and worse. Let’s start with the police being here at least monthly for domestics or drugs. Office never taking your seriously, never cleaning, the common areas are FILTHY, treating you poorly, never answering the phone, etc. there have been multiple people arrested out of our building. The “secure” door is never secure. And not my neighbor is allowing homeless people to live in the building. Not only have the police been here for them fighting but they are always hanging out under my porch trying to get in the building if it just so happens to be secure. This is just within the last 3 months. I could go on and on. Trust me, don’t do it.

I have been living here for a year now, and it had been wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the whole area is beautiful. I love how there’s a garden where you can have your own plot to plant stuff! The dog park is great, and there’s even nature trails. Sometimes I’ll forget I’m in the city when I’m walking on them! The best part is that there’s not one, but two pools, and even a pond! The apartments are nice, my only complaint would be the kitchen is too small for my liking.

Don't ever rent at this place. The washrooms and the storage areas are disgusting. The snow removal is pathetic. People have complained about insufficient heat. Most of the office staff is pleasant but the property manager, Amanda, is very inconsiderate. I lived at this apartment complex for two years and was never late with my rent, and $25 was deducted from my security deposit for a late fee because I put the check in the box on July 4 and not on July 3. The office was closed on July 3 and 4, so I put the check in the box on July 4 instead of July 3, but apparently the box was checked on July 3 and as my check was not in there, I was charged a late fee. How inconsiderate because how could it be late when it's a check and it could not be deposited until the 5th. So does it really matter that I put it on July 4 especially as I had been never late with my rent. No sense of loyalty and horrible business etiquette. I will never rent there again and would advise everyone to steer clear of this establishment. I only stayed for two years because I was in Wisconsin temporarily and didn't want to be bothered with moving expenses.

I lived here for 2 years, it was my first apartment I ever rented. I loved my apartment, my balcony faced the pond and I was right next to the pool. volleyball court, walking trails, and a garden that residents can use! I always paid my rent 2 days in advance because you get placed in an "early bird" contest and could win a free pizza! Management is very helpful and friendly! The gas station and family video is right across the street! I definitely recommend Arbor Lakes to friends and coworkers!

I have a friend who has been here for a while and I recently moved here myself into one of the one of the apartments by the pool and I really like it so far. My neighbors have been nice and the building is quiet. I was worried because this is my first 1st floor apartment, but I haven't heard anything from upstairs neighbors at all. My apartment is heat included (and I control it) and that's a HUGE plus. Heating for the house I moved from was very expensive. The buildings themselves look like they're from the mid 70's like most of the area but it looks like my building has been kept up pretty well. This is my first place without a roommate, so I decided to start with the most affordable option first which means my kitchen cabinets are definitely from when the buildings were built. The appliances are newer, but the cabinets are a plain dark color. Nothing to write home about. I guess you get the choice to have your apartment remodeled before you move in because they asked if I wanted to, but I chose not to right away because you're also allowed to do your own improvements too and why pay the money if I like what I do myself? I've painted my own colors and put up molding, changed the knobs and drawer pulls in the kitchen and bathroom. Now I'm even thinking of replacing the cabinet doors which the manager said would be ok if I save the originals and don't do any damage or anything in the process. Still, I do like that I still have the choice to remodel the place later if I want to. Who knows, I do really like the new cabinets I saw... Anyway, besides ho hum cabinets, I've really liked everything else. The office people have been really nice, I love the new gym they put in, and there's a new clubhouse with wifi for the residents to hang out in too. The carpet looks new, maintenance has been really quick to respond to the few things I've had them do, I still got a dishwasher even though I have the cheapest version of my unit (I HATE hand washing), and I've had no problems with my heat or water or anything.

The management is not very good, though they are always polite. The water heating is old style and terrible (in my opinion). Impossible to relax in the shower. It seems like you share the water heating with everyone in your building, not just your apartment. Anybody else wants to get a drink or use the toilet you either get frozen solid or scalded. The water temperature never stays steady. The neighbors are friendly, and the location is nice. The pools have problems with the amounts of chlorine in the times I've gone swimming. It has a nice ponds with lots of ducks that are fun to feed and a sidewalk that goes around most of it for nice walks.

Hello, This is Trevor from the office. If you can spare a moment to swing by the office or send me a PM I would really like to make sure that everything is taken care of for you, especially where water temperature is concerned. It's true that most complexes have some shared utility systems between units, but large variances like that shouldn't be noticeable and that's something that I can bring to maintenance. I've also made our pool monitor aware of the chlorine levels that you mentioned so she can pay extra close attention to them on her rounds. I know that they've been tweaking the balance while the volume of pool visitors has been leveling out over the past few weeks.
Apartments look like they haven't been renovated, ever. Tour model and pictures on the site are NOTHING like the apartment I ended up moving into. You can have your apartment renovated before you move in at your OWN EXPENSE but it costs A LOT of money! Carpet in every room was coming apart when I moved in. I completely filled up 3 large vacuum bags of old dog hair, dust, etc. in one day! EW! There is even carpet in the bathroom=very unhygienic. Kitchen stove is tilted so much that water spills out of pots despite being fixed three times.

Hi, This is Trevor writing from the office and if you have any time to visit with me or to send me a message, I would really like an update on how things have gone for you since April? A full kitchen and bath renovation is still and option and we'll do them at any point during the lease. We're also working very hard to keep the prices reasonable. For example, in a 1 bedroom unit the difference in price for a full kitchen and bath reno is between $30-$70. At that rate, it would take over 100 months for us to actually break even on the cost, but it's well worth it to me to modernize the units.
The location is great and the apartments are nice. Its nice to have a place that takes pets too. They have a variety of options for layouts and such.

We had high hopes, we loved our apartment, loved the location, even loved the office staff. Things went downhill FAST. They are NOT military friendly at all (despite claiming to be), the new assistant manager is awful, disrespectful and cold. The old assistant manager was fantastic and so is Carla, but the rest of the staff has treated us HORRIBLY. They don't handle noise complaints until you can complain to someone much higher in the food chain and even then, it's begrudgingly and this is generally how they handle any tenant concerns, requests or even communication. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.
