I became a new resident at apple creek apartments about a month ago. I love it here! It is definitely a win in my books. For this being my first apartment in my new adult life Apple creeks leasing lady's have been a great help. Always with smiles and welcoming arms with any questions or concerns. Helping understand all aspects of being apart Of this community!! I love the little poems they have going on each month and how much they involve the residents here!! I recommend this place to everyone and would recommend it to you as well!! with all respects, Shayla.
I have lived here for a little over 6 years and I love it! Maintenance is always here the next day, and the office girls are great and understanding.
I would disagree with the overall 2.9 rating Apple Creek currently has. Overall I give them a high 4.0-4.5. The complex was built in 1986, almost 40 years ago, so unless you're lucky enough to get into one of the updated 'Deluxe' units (which I wasn't as they're high in demand & not vacant often) the only option available is the standard non-remodeled unit. Which are quite out-dated. That being said, even the older units are cozy & comfortable despite the outdated finishes. Where Apple Creek really excels is the amazing & prompt service & response from management & maintenance for any reason. Typically within 1-2 days. Most of all however, is the stunning indoor pool & Jacuzzi, Amazon locker/mail room (no need to worry about anyone stealing your packages or being misdelivered - if either occurs Amazon C/S promptly tracks missing package & either sends new item or credits you immediately) Additionally, the Millard school district is excellent, numerous choices for shopping, groceries & restaurants are fantastic. *PROS: Excellent school district, polite & friendly staff/residents, close to all, amazing indoor pool, Jacuzzi & gym, maintenance response incredibly quickly if needed, 1-2 days at most, then leaves a card on your counter & sends email stating what was completed, cozy fireplace & huge balcony in every unit, very pet-friendly with an adorable enclosed pet play area. *CONS: The older units are extremely outdated. Which isn't an issue if you don't mind making small upgrades as I did. I replaced my kitchen faucet & bathroom showerheads & maintenance installed free of charge. They also replaced the 1980's unreadable thermostat to a digital one free of charge. The size of unit is a bit small. I had to return the dinette set I purchased from lack of space. Parking is challenging most days, but #1 is access to the indoor pool/Jacuzzi. It is only available during 'office hours' M-S, but management changes that at their discretion. Before moving in I was told access was to be changed via resident key fobs but that still hasn't been approved. Lastly, in addition to your rent each month you are also responsible for water, trash & sewage each month.

Great indoor pool, hot tub, packages delivered to individual lockers to be kept safe, 24 hr locked mailroom, friendly and respectful maintenance staff, responsive and knowledgable office staff, 24 hr gym, recycling picked up weekly at your door, security company that roves randomly at night so no potential criminals can plan around their arrival, dog park, playground, close to excellent schools, close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Pets allowed, and washers and dryers are included. Excellent manager actively upkeeps property.

I lived there for 6 years and even transferred to a bigger unit when I needed more space. Management is on top of everything, leasing staff is incredibly helpful, maintenance gets done right away, and you cannot beat the location. They do projects every year to keep the place looking great, too. Our building got new siding last year and this year we got new landscaping. The package locker system and indoor pool/hot tub are highlights as well. Overall, this is a great complex and place to live. I would recommend to anyone!

I moved into apple creek that so many free amenities and sounded great. The first month was great after that it all went downhill. The pool ans hot tub are always closed the office is always closing early. Trying to get ahold of the office is a nightmare and they don't take your complaints seriously. Had so many noise issues and they didn't care. The grounds people don't do anything besides work on there own cars. Come winter be prepared to either stay home or risk going out to nothing being shoveled for days and falling multiple times. They have time to send out emails but don't care about the people who are actually living on property and let's not even get into the mold that is in every building on the property

Living at Apple Creek for the past 4.5 years has been a wonderful experience. It was a good first apartment. I felt safe, which is important as a young woman living by myself. The complex is located in a very accessible area. Not far from the Dodge Expressway or I-80. The grounds are kept in pretty good shape. I have no noise complaints and could rarely ever hear my neighbors. There is ample parking and various resident activities are hosted in the Club House. The community is welcoming and inclusive. The management team is kind, flexible, and efficient. Very responsive as well. They work to schedule maintenance repairs during your availability within the work day. The few maintenance requests I had were completed within a couple days. The maintenance men do great work and are some of the sweetest people. There are no pest problems other than some ants here and there when the weather starts to warm up. If I wasn’t moving to Texas, I would not be moving out. Honestly, I wish I could have taken Apple Creek with me.

If you are looking for a nice apartment with a very responsive administrative team, Apple Creek is the place to go. I’ve lived in apartments that left maintenance issues for MONTHS—not at Apple Creek. When I have an issue, it’s solved within 24 hours. They once even got maintenance in the hour before a holiday weekend, as soon as I submitted a report! And I’ve needed maintenance so rarely here—maybe once or twice in over a year. Evan at the front office especially is so kind and patient and will make your moving process a dream!

My time at Apple Creek was great! The neighbors were friendly and quiet. If you ever need something fixed, the maintenance staff resolves the issue very fast. The communication with the leasing office is great! I directly spoke with Evan many times and she was very clear about the lease agreement and any other questions I had. Apple Creek is located in a safe part of Omaha as well, which is reassuring. Overall, I give Apple Creek 5/5 stars!

Apple Creek management does not care about their renters or anyone involved in the application process. From the beginning of my interaction with them, they pushed me to submit an application without answering any of the questions I had or giving me an opportunity to tour the area. After I had submitted an application which required a security deposit, application fee, and administrative fee, I would not hear from them for an entire week. During that time I would tour other apartments in the area to ensure that I would move somewhere that I would want to live. Unfortunately, Apple Creek management is very unclear on the application process and even gave me false information. They said that I would receive a full refund minus the application fee if I were to cancel my application. However, they NEVER specified that you only have 24 hours to cancel from the day you SUBMIT the application. How can that even be the case where you aren't approved yet but lose a security deposit. I tried speaking to the leasing manager about this issue and she couldn't care less. She had received her money and that's all they care about. She then proceeded to use the lease I had not yet signed as a ransom since signing the document would be the only possible way to receive my security deposit back. After I asked her for some time to make a decision, she again pressured me to sign and stated that she would void the lease the next day if I did not respond. I wouldn't wish anybody to go through what I did with them. They consistently pressured me, ignored me when it was convenient for them, and lied to me so that they can keep screwing over people just trying to find an apartment to live in.

Great staff very friendly and helpful. Near a the mall and places to eat. Only biggest complaint is how bad the parking is. There are not enough spots. If you come in after 7 at night you are almost guaranteed to have to park some where that's no where near your building and take a long walk. While walking isnt bad for you :) It's really a problem when it rains or it snows and is freezing outside especially with groceries and so on There are spots in the back corner but no one wants to park there due to all the break ins that happen back there. This place needs to either assign each unit 1 spot at least or build more parking space like in the middle of the road circle or something. Bugs, mice and ants are also an issue but maintenance doesn't seem to really care as they say thats how it is with these old places. Buildings are old and in major need of renovation, the HVAC units are ancient and energy hogs. Good luck not having an outrageous bill almost every month even when you hardly use it like I do. Other then these issues the staff has been great and its near everything you need and off the main road where its quiet.

After 13 years of happily renewed leases at Apple Creek, we are deeply saddened to have to leave the absolutely AMAZING staff here and our wonderful neighbors - we are so very attached! Thank you all for everything! We didn't have the luxury of seeing our apartment prior to moving here from another state in 2006, so Paula, Lynn, Cindy and Alicia took extra care to make sure we got the apartment that met our needs and wish list through a quick series of phone calls and online exchanges. The apartment was clean and beautiful, and we fell in love with it instantly. (Still love it!) We signed the first lease and just kept signing them year after year feeling there was no place we'd rather be. We hope whoever takes our place here will be as happy and feel as loved here as we have, and we've done our part to maintain its beauty throughout the years. Don and his phenomenal maintenance team, Ely and Dave and Jordan, keep the property and buildings functioning well and looking beautiful year-round. We've never heard any neighbor report anything but praise for the entire staff here. (That is quite an accomplishment!) A few things that make life here most enjoyable: 1) You just won't find sweeter, more competent people than the ones who work here! 2) The clubhouse, pool and hot tub are beautiful and especially cheery on a dreary winter day - and warm! 3) The drive into the community is charming day or night, so regardless of your work schedule you'll feel enchanted with the place every time you see it. 4) Don plows the snow off the lot super fast! AND though they'll do it for you, you can pitch in with your snow shovel to help clear the stairs - a fantastic workout in the fresh air! 5) Dogs and cats absolutely love it here and you'll love seeing the variety of them! 6) Maintenance issues have been extremely rare, but the super sweet office ladies, Shaylene and Janice get with Don, Eli or Dave and often within the hour the matter has been successfully resolved. 7)Great neighbors!

I have lived at the complex since September and I love it. Any issues have been very minor and addressed by staff/maintenance right away. I feel safe and there is lots of green space to walk my dog. No apartment complex is going to be perfect but Apple Creek is pretty great. I will be transferring to a larger unit soon because of how good of an experience I've had.

They promiss you the moon to get you in but then don't deliver. Oh yay they have a hot tub (it's rarely hot), nice an indoor pool!! (? caution could get clorine poisoning), ample parking! ( cancel the gym membership you will get plenty of excersice walking to your apartment). Finally good luck with a renewal they claim its market price but they gouge you. (They don't think your smart enough to check the market). Lastly they will say sorry come talk to our manager so we can help you but guess what... Correct she will never speak with you your just a lowly tenant.

First off let me say that this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. The apartments are tiny for the price they are trying to charge you. They throw ridiculous fees at you and try and upcharge you on tons of stupid stuff. The rooms were dirty and smelled deeply of smoke. I reiterate again it was the worst experience of my life.

I don't know why all of these reviews are 5 star because this place deserves nothing but one star, if that. The worst place I have ever lived and so overpriced on rent when their utilities are from the 60's and you live in the smallest apartment with NO storage... at all. They love to fine you any chance they get.

Way too expensive for what you get. Very small living space. Rooms are tiny. Closets aren't very big. Appliances from the 90s. When you move out, they charge you for things you did not damage. One room of carpet replacement was $732.

CONs: a good portion of the units need renovation. Management and maintenace are underwhelming regarding service. You will not receive your deposit upon termination/lapse of lease and they will charge you even if unit is cleaned immaculately ( charged $125 for cleaning). They also added other erroneous charges equating to amount owed upon completion of walk through. My vehicle was damaged after snow fall and they denied to have been responsible even though pictures provided evidence for proof. PROs: The complex is quiet and accomodating for pets. Tenants are nice.

Cons: management and maintenance do little to assist or resolve issues. When I moved in missing door stops, plastic blinds were broken ( never replaced), & bathfan was pulled down a foot from ceiling. When opened bedroom window, the window and frame was not secured to framing. Most units need upgrading. Within a week of moving in maintenance scratched my vehicle after snowfall with snowblower. I have proof of path up to where scratch occurred. They denied any wrongdoing. Upon move out they charged $125 for cleaning when it was left immaculate. Another erroneous charge balance equated to a balance owed. Due lack of service and integrity, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Pros: complex is quiet and accommodating to pets. Tenants are nice.

won't fix anything that breaks, won't do anything about the birds living in the walls or the cold that's getting in. DO NOT MOVE IN !

This is a great complex and very pet friendly! The maintenance response rate for a work order is incredibly fast. I would recommend!

The ladies in the office are super nice, maintance is always quick, fixing quickly and always cleaning the grass. It a pleasure to live in an apt that takes such great care of the ppl and the place itself.

Location is great. right off of 144th and center the Oak View mall is in walking distance. The Staff is amazing! If you need anything fixed you put a work order in and its either fixed that day or the next. The Apartments are the perfect size. I live on my own and I'm in the Junior one bedroom. But its perfect for me. They have an awesome clubhouse. That includes a small gym an indoor pool and hot tub. Don't let me forget the game room. They also have a little movie theater up on the second floor. Over all Amazing place to live.

I moved in about 5 months ago. Love my place...it is so quaint. I have a junior 1 bedroom and floor plan for 1 person is perfect. I have two walk in closets a large bathroom with washer and dryer. I live on 2nd floor with a very nice and spacious balcony. Noise level is minimal. I was told that it might be possible to hear the 3rd floor residents going up the stairs but have not had any issues with that. The clubhouse with the tropical setting pool is beautiful. Location is close to shopping. If you don't have a garage, parking is somewhat filled up if you get home late at night. The staff is very attentive. I took a 13 month lease and plan on renewing when the time comes.

I've lived at Apple Creek for over 6 years, and the reason I stay is that I know if I have a problem, the staff will be there to help. The office is open until 9 p.m. every night. I see the maintenance guys around the complex every day, and I've been able to walk up and ask them to fix problems in my apartment. They usually come right away during business hours, and when I had an emergency plumbing issue on a Sunday, someone was there within a half hour. The neighborhood is quiet, and the complex is away from the main road. It's a great place to have a dog, too. There's a small dog park and residential sidewalks for walks. On the downside, you can only access the exercise equipment and pool during office hours.

The facilities are great, the people in the office are friendly and always happy to help, as are the maintenance crew the few times I've called upon them. The apartments themselves are beautiful and in a great area, right next to a major shipping center and a major intersection that makes getting just about anywhere easy, while not being overly noisy late at night. The floor plan is nicely laid out, but is a little small, for the amount of money you pay, however everything else I've mentioned more than makes up for the slight lack of size, personally. I have noticed that the floors tend to be a little creaky, but again, that's a relatively minor issue to me. The biggest thing that I've noticed is that the apartments feature an outdoor walkup, with the doors to both the second and third floor apartments on the same level, where the door to the third floor opens to an interior staircase that then leads up to the third floor. This means that the staircase to the third floor shares an interior wall with the second floor, so the residents of the second floor can hear everyone walking up/down those stairs. I live on the third floor and, as someone who tends to be at work until midnight or later fairly often, have accidentally gone up the stairs too loudly late at night and woken my neighbors small children. So overall the apartments are great and I plan to stay here, just be wary, especially if you're looking at a 2nd floor apartment, that you share a wall with those stairs.

I love all the staff! They helped me get my apartment for a reasonable price! I have had no troubles with apple creek since moving in a year ago!
