Right outside of Fort Worth and only about 45 minutes from Dallas, North Richland Hills is a large suburban community that has developed a local character independent from its larger neighbors. The local schools are excellent, and numerous family-friendly activities make it a terrific option for anyone with children.
In the summer, NRH2O Family Water Park is one of the most popular attractions in town, and hockey games at NYTEX Sports Centre draw big crowds in the colder months. The city has a robust arts community, including the Art in Public Spaces Program which has supported art installations all over the community since 2002. Dozens of different public parks around town give everyone easy access to open-air recreation.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Appian Way
This housing is unbelievable. My family applied for a unit, and I paid a $135 application fee. My wife was also asked to pay her portion of $135 as a co-applicant. However, before she made the payment, we had to withdraw our application due to a change in plans. After cancelling, the housing demanded that we pay her $135 as well, claiming they had already processed our applications. I questioned how they could process her application without receiving her payment first. I suggested that they keep my $135 and consider it settled, but they are refusing. One of the main reasons why we withdrew our application was because of poor rating. After we applied, we came across reviews from many former residents. Most of them had bad things to say about the place and the people who run it. Their reviews were proven correct. I suggest you avoid this place.
Property Manager at Appian Way, Responded To This Review
Hi, Christine. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We understand that you had previously provided your updated license plate information, and we sincerely apologize for the oversight that led to the towing. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate your patience as we work to improve our processes. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out directly.
The price is good for what you get. The buildings are old but being refurbished (2015). Management isn't the greatest.
