Highly unsafe apartments
lived here 4 1/2 years and felt such relief leaving this terrible apartment complex. The beginning was only tolerable due to fewer issues that required assistance from this unprofessional management. Old, dingy apartment, but on the cheaper side of Napa and as a single mom I needed somewhere on the cheaper side. Third year everything went downhill. homeless people living in RVs right outside our apartment(one blew up). drug deals and all types of strange people walking through our front area. There’s a last call 2 AM bar about 200 feet away from apartments so you get to hear belligerent drunk people every night screaming and fighting. There have been multiple incidents at the bar including stabbings. I’ve personally called 911 over 20 times during my years here for fights on top of my car to girls screaming for help. A 24 hour gym and 24 hour laundromat right next to our complex attract homeless people that hang out in large groups who drink and party all night while the cops drive right on by. My car has been broken into many times. Homeless people always digging thru complex dumpster and throwing trash all over our parking lot. a guy running away from police cars and helicopters chase JUMP into my backyard and pound on back door to let him in. We Have leaky upstairs ceiling’s every time it rains and water leaking from the next door apartment with no fix for 5 months because they wanted to wait until they moved out to redo whole bathroom (im sure they didn’t want to pay for there temporary relocation for the family). During the leak from next door I was without a toilet for 3 weeks and when I asked when I was going to get a new one the manager acted like she had no idea I didn’t have a toilet. Locking gates have never been replaced with new lock after they broke. (I was chased into apartments by homeless person before and locking gate saved me from them but now no longer there). No outside lights replaced on pathways or parking lots after they go out. I felt very unsafe after the lights broke because there was constantly people from the bar in the parking lot and found hand prints on side of car many times from people peeing/throwing up inbetween our cars. The list goes on. Everything has gone downhill since new company “Dematei and Co” took over. On site manager (Lucy? Sienna? Uses a different name everytime) is not efficient and is unreachable many times. I would highly recommend other options before you choose this place to live. It’s highly unsafe.
