If you want easy access to Denver’s natural beauty and outdoor recreation, Kennedy is an excellent choice. The neighborhood is home to Kennedy Golf Course and John F. Kennedy Park, and several green spaces surround Kennedy as well. Cherry Creek Country Club and Hampden Heights Park are located directly north of Kennedy while Cherry Creek State Park borders the neighborhood to the south. With access to so many parks, hiking, camping, and other outdoor hobbies are very popular here. This beautiful neighborhood features moderately priced to upscale apartments for rent. Along with plenty of parks, Kennedy is near an abundance of restaurants, stores, and grocers. Kennedy feels somewhat secluded, but its location near Interstate 225 and other major highways allows renters to travel into the heart of the city with ease.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Alvista Nine Mile
Buildings 1 & 2 are filthy and very often have squatters in the basement parking garage & stairwells. Wouldn't be a massive issue except they rarely ever thoroughly clean the shared spaces (unless it's a space on their tour routes, then it's immaculate). The staff are nice and helpful, but getting a hold of one of them is like pulling teeth unless you have time to physically walk into the office. Their phones ring exactly one time before sending you to voicemail so I'm convinced they just auto-reject all calls. I have NEVER gotten an answer when I call the office. Not once. The surface lot is comically dangerous. Even ignoring the potholes and constant broken glass strewn about, I have witnessed 2 hand offs and been "solicited" to once in front of my building. I want to like this place but there are far too many egregious issues that I cannot look past. I hope the new management company can get a grip on things around here, but it seems like they care even less than the previous owners.

The staff is great everyone is always friendly, really great apartments to live in there's a lot of space and having 2 patios is great.

Hi, your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us. We look forward to your next visit! Take care!
This property was bought out and they are trying to make it better but the tenants make this horrible. Poop on the ground, trash, not in a safe area. Homeless live next door, drug addicts wandering the parking lot at night, utilities are $150 which is absurd for an apartment. Amenities are only open during office hours so if you have a regular job you won't be able to use them. Police are regulars accompanied by fire department and ambulances. This is an absolute last resort place to live.

The negative reviews are correct. Upon first sight online we fell in love with this apartment and the amenities it had "seemed" to offer. Long story short we are not dirty people but have had, a rat in our home, cigarettes thrown on our balcony, a Tennant spit on our dog from our balcony, and have heard horror story from other tenants about poop being thrown onto their balconies and even into their homes. maintenence is a joke they pay people to smoke cigarettes on the clock. The janitor is not good at cleaning, and tenants constantly tear stuff up. Not to mention that nice shiny pool was barely open and all amenities are closed after buisness hours so hard working people like myself pay for; but cannot even enjoy them. We are not renewing our lease and would not recommend to anyone unless you were very limited in budget to live here. You get what you pay for this is a place I'd move to if I lost my job or something. other than that. absolutely not fo not do it. They do not care about you its a money hungry company. period.
Cockroaches are everywhere and you get charged so high for “utilities” even though you pay excel separately

Hello and thank you for your feedback. I'd love to discuss any concerns you're having at Axis at Nine Mile Station with you directly, please email me at your convenience. I can be reached at axisninemilecm@laramar.com. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
New management poorly manages. I’ve lived in these apartments for three years and recently they switched management companies. The place is filthy all the time. They’re already overpriced as it is. But if you are one day past the third with your rent no matter what the circumstances are emergency or not they begin charging you $75 and then $10 a day after that. Which can quickly add up. So not only are you over paying for rent you’re also overpaying service fees for a service you don’t get.The only perk I can say about this place is that they’re very flexible about having pets. But they do nothing to maintain the way the pets are cared for.

Overpriced, Broken Elevators (we lived on 7th fl), Bug Infestation, Busted Pipes, Improperly Installed Kitchen Sink(that fell on my fiance), Regular Power Outages, Rude Staff. Moral: Find somewhere else to live.
Cockroaches. Power is always out. Water gets turned off in the buildings often. The C.A.M (central area maintenance fee) is ridiculous! I can’t believe they charge for this. It’s not maintained very well at all! No parking. I can’t wait to move out.
Axis was the first place I lived at when I moved here to Denver. There has been such growth even in the last 10 months that I have lived here and from what I was told from long time residence, its only been getting better. The staff is great as they were there for every need that I had and always followed up when they said they would. Rosa, Dena and Steven are such a delight. My apartment was huge for the amount that I was paying and can only assume it will only get better.

I moved in 2 months ago and have had NO issues! From the moment I came to apply everyone in the office was so welcoming and upbeat! If I have any questions or concerns they address it right away! Not to mention the apartment itself if beautiful! I love the entire complex and my view is to die for! I look forward to coming home!

We appreciate the glowing review and are immensely happy to hear you are loving your stay at our community! It’s always great to receive feedback from residents who are taking advantage of everything Axis at Nine Mile Station has to offer - like our convenient location, spacious layouts, and work-out amenities. Our staff loves to be of service! It’s nice to know their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed by our amazing residents. Thank you for the kind recommendation. We hope you’ll continue to call us home for many years to come! If there’s anything you ever need, feel free to stop by the office or give us a ring!
They don't answer to service requests for weeks together! Almost a month back I had put a service request for fixing the noise of the Fan, still not fixed! The guy came said the Fan needs to be replaced and I never heard back from them again!!!! What if that fan falls on someone? So unsafe to live :/ I don't understand for what I'm paying so much every month, the services are horrible! We pay around 35 dollars every month for the Common Areas which are either filthy or closed for repair. I don't understand what they are fixing, everything is still pretty much broken!
"THE AXIS MANAGER" is the meanest and rudest manager I have ever seen, she has ZERO respect for residents and talks with attitude and literally has no interest in listening to resident problems/concerns. Even though they are remodeling by removing carpet/repaint, charging hundreds of dollars towards leaving residents. If you question them, their answers literally make you laugh. If possible STAY AWAY, there will be raffle for writing positive reviews on social media, all the positive comments are fake.

We are so sorry to hear you have had a negative experience. We do offer incentives for reviews- good, bad, or otherwise- as we always appreciate the feedback. Please stop by our office to speak with our team if you have any concerns we can address for you.
If you like roaches and fees move here. The charge you gas and electric even though you have your own connection with xcel. Woke up this morning with a roach on the kitchen table we are very clean people there was no food out or anything. Just told the leasing office we seen roaches in the elevator a week ago. They don't care they will do something when the whole building is infested. They know the elevators are broken and will only fix interior details when the problem is the lift and door
I lived in these apartments for 2 years. When I first moved in, there were cockroaches and bed bugs, plus homeless people living in the garage. The new owners have done quite a bit of upgrades in the units and around the buildings. However be aware of the constant change of employees and hiring from staffing agency. I started having to record my conversations since things changed every time I went in the office. At one point, one of the temps even had the nerve to start yelling at me and the office manager came out and asked me to leave when it was his fault. This employee was fired soon after. The late fees change hourly. Not daily so be sure to get it in writing or have someone sign something because it will change in an hour when you come back. I am very happy to be out of these apartments!
I have been a resident of this complex since June of 2016. Here is a summary of the experience we have had so far: another resident irate and drunk attempting to break into my apartment - causing damage to my locks and door frame that has yet to be repaired (and that person continues to reside here - imagine how unsafe that feels when my son or I encounter this person in the stairwells or hallway), an OUTRAGEOUS cockroach infestation, lack of hot water, lack of water pressure, such poor ventilation that I have to keep windows/door open in my apartment to clear out the marijuana smoke that creeps in from neighboring units, such heavy use of marijuana on the floor of the building in which I reside that in the short time it takes to walk from the stairwell to my apartment door my son describes his head as "feeling funny and fuzzy" and I at times feel dizzy and develop headaches, damage to the grounds, damage to vehicles in the parking lot, aggressive encounters with other residents in the parking lot, packages delivered of which I was not notified resulting in damaged gifts and rotted food sent from family, and more. Today, my son and I encountered an unknown man sleeping in a dark corner in the basement as we entered the building from the garage, and a large amount of glass all over the garage where a car had been broken into. Scared, we called the office immediately. The employee with whom I spoke never once asked about our safety, dismissed my concern because she was leaving for her lunch break, and instructed me to bring a police report to her if it was "such a big concern". I told her that I hoped if there was ever a threat in the building where she and her family reside that the responding party exercised more humanity and urgency that she was in her treatment of me, and she replied by saying "I don't live in an apartment building so I would never have to worry about this, but thank you". She was insensitive, cruel, and mocking. I am afraid to come home if it's after dark, and deeply resent it at all times of day. I am a single mother, a high school teacher, have two undergraduate degrees and am currently pursuing a Master's degree. I have always paid my rent and utilities on time, and have never created any issues in this community in terms of interactions with residents, noise, garbage, etc. The point is: do not believe any of the marketing. The bones of this community are bad, bad, bad. Do not bring yourself or your family here.
Worst apartment ever. Not worth for families with kids to stay. No safety. No proper maintenance. There is a foul smell everywhere, stairs, elevator. The leasing office staffs are very arrogant and never treats people with respect. Above all apartments are full of bed bugs and roaches. Though they say apartment is renovated, none of the bad things have changed
Warning about positive reviews! Management company is giving discounts for positive reviews trying to fix their terrible image. No thanks, I don't want a possible $300 dollars off my rent. Please fix my Garbage Disposal. It's been two weeks. I've notify them 4 times now. I have to write a review to get anywhere with this management team. Also, thanks for hiring that terrible security company that Booted my truck for a spot I pay for. There goes $100.00 for no good reason! At least it's not another broken window, or slashed tire!!! Save yourself a lot of necessary trouble and do not move here. This is by far the worst management company that has run this place for the four years i've lived here. 8/22/16
Axis is one of the best apartments community with easy accessibility, state-of-the-art facilities, responsive management, pet-friendly and well-maintained. The new renovation work has greatly improved the look n feel as well facilities for the residents, ensuring comfortable stay.
This is the perfect place to live if you want a quick walk to the grocery store, or bus station/light rail. the staff is incredible the complex is always maintained. indoor and outdoor pool, work out facility on site. This place will make you feel right at home.
