Property Ratings at Alton Heartwood
These apartments are new and nicely designed and you can see the ammenities online. They have a great location on the lake, but the price you pay reflects all this. They are the most expensive apartments in all of Issaquah and nearby areas. This is what causes most of the issues - the managment company has had issues getting all the apartments leased in 2023 and seems they are not hitting revenue targets. Some things to consider: Management has been completely changed in April due to the occupancy issues/high prices. Something special here: Residents pay for common areas utilities. These common area utilities can be an extra $100-200 per month in addition to your own apartment utilities. Many other apartment buildings do not pass the charges on to residents for common area but this building has all internal heated/cooled walkways so keep that in mind. Parking in the secure underground is $125/month.

Location is good and interiors look nice. The hallway constantly smells like cat litter. Maintenance requests take weeks. The pool has been out of commission 90% of the time since it was opened for the season, including during the heat wave. Rent payment portal has been down for weeks making us pay "the old fashioned way" removing the convenience of a "luxury" apartment. The floor shakes anytime anyone closes a door. There have been 2 evacuations for gas leaks in less than a year. Forced use of Fetch delivery service for packages, extending typical delivery time.
