I recently moved into the Alta South Bay building, and it is truly an outstanding apartment community! As a College Professor, I teach a lot of online courses from home, and I was looking for a quiet, clean, and well run community. Alta South Bay is superb and checks all the boxes! Molly and Nethania are so friendly and professional and made my move-in super easy. They are both kind and caring leasing professionals. Overall a great apartment to live in. It’s quiet. It’s clean. Parking is easy. Great place for people with pets. The staff is excellent. They’re very nice and punctual and always willing to help. Lots of amenities as well.
Overall I like the apartment complex. Not very happy about the unfinished hallways. Also, the front doors all seem to have a giant gap that allows for a lot of wind and debree to come in. The cabinet hardware will do well with a replacement/maintenance as some are difficult to open and close.
I was live in Alta South Bay for almost 4 years. In December 2023 one pipe was broken and flooding many units. My apartment was several damage. The management don’t provide very good customer services. Only referred to my private rent insurance too request for my personal loss. They send to another unit until my apartment is fixing. I can’t access to my apartment because construction workers wrap my things. I decide moving before my leasing it’s over. If you have pets CAUTION a lot bugs around all community. Very bad experience!!!!

1st I am absolutely head over heels for this complex. I’ve had my eyes in 1 particular place, but when I came across this property I went to see it. The pictures are very accurate but didn’t do it any justice. The property is well kept and very peaceful. I went and meet with KeAra Jackson Saturday morning last week. Needless to say I’m moving in , in a few weeks!!!!! KeAra is the most respectful, helpful , understanding, and Postive person I have ever met. If you are looking for a great location, a very very very nice complex and an outstanding rep. Look no further. Request a tour it will not hurt :-) happy house hunting!

Alta South Bay is HOME. From complex events to giving residents the opportunity to enjoy food trucks and excellent festivities, Alta South Bay is unqiue. The price is exactly what we pay for and we (my furbabys and bf) love it here!
Overall community is safe, quiet(but that technically depends on your neighbors anywhere), great amenities and a lot of places to walk your dog. That’s honestly a main selling point because in LA there aren’t many places to walk dogs. Pool is heated, gym is some decent equipment, some old dumbbells but everything else seems relatively new. If I relocated again I would still probably move here. Definitely recommend.
Staff is great. Things are well maintained and I am happy here and with my unit.

Alta Southbay is a clean and safe community with great in-unit amenities and parking. It’s still a newer living community with great access to highways.

Location is great! Close to Frwy and a lot of eateries or markets. The building itself is maintained above average except one time I stepped on pet poo on stairway. Excellent start. Ms. Molly Negrette is very thorough and efficient.

I have enjoyed all the maintenance and staff here at Alta, the only thing I have not enjoyed is living next to The pizza factory. I live on the main street section and can not leave my windows open, due to the large trucks first thing in the morning blaring their horns and all the noise. It is not peaceful. Also living between a hospital and a hospice care center there are always ambulances at least 7x per day.

The residents are not held accountable for breaking lease rules. People park in handicap and other spots they shouldn’t without appropriate placards or parking passes; people smoke; bring over 2 guest with them to amenities… and no consequences are imposed. But staff are nice and polite and treat the residents with respect.

Such a beautiful place and fit all the boxes for me and my boyfriend. Loved the kitchen space which will be great for hosting and cooking. The bedrooms were more spacious than expected and our pup seemed to enjoy the environment as well. Overall 10/10

Not only are the amenities fabulous but it feels like a neighborhood. The staff is so friendly and it really feels like home. It’s close to the freeway, mall and eateries too!!

I checked out this property as a secondary source. It was very clean and welcoming. The pool is similar to a resort style pool and was very clean. The whole property looks like it’s been updated and well kept.

The complex has really great amenities. The gym is nice and clean. The club room is huge. My one bedroom was very spacious. I would definitely return here if possible!

I’ve walked though several tours most recently. Alta South Bay is most inviting with their designated areas for pets and very beautiful pool and landscaping. We were very impressed with the Office Employees. The Manager I believe assisted us, very professional and had an answer for our every question. I felt safe there. That matters to myself and my senior Mother who’ll be living with me. Thank you!
