I put off moving for so long because of the hassle, but this place is worth it all. I'm stoked about the sensible floorplan, copious storage space, and awesome community amenities like the micro offices and dog spa. D'Angelo park and the turf dog park further south down Wells are a dream for my pup. I love being this close to the courts/financial district for work because I really get my steps in and save big on parking fees. The public transportation options and dining options nearby are also a huge plus. Lastly, it's really super quiet and professional here. The fire station noise is minimal, and at night I don't even hear the Metra or the El. There's not a huge party vibe to the community either, so residential noise is a non-issue.

Great but limited hour amenities, nice apartments, the surrounding area can be sketch (multiple killings a block away, homeless communities a block away), nice dog parks nearby

No longer happy here. I have been awakened from my sleep since 2am due to the use of the 24 hour hot tub due to talking and loud music which is a recurrent problem. It’s rude of management to allow this, even hotels have restricted pool and hot tube hours to promote comfort if all. Additionally there is smoking in the building as well as the garage that management does not resolve. There are other issues that I will not address. I advise looking else where

Dear Resident, I'm sorry to see of your issue you experienced and of your dissatisfaction. I wanted to clarify that the entire outdoor amenity deck, per the posted signage on all doors is not open 24 hours. I am displeased to see some residents ignored the posted rules on this particular Saturday night, which cause your disturbance and prompted this updated review. I certainly don't want that to happen to you or any other resident. You should have received an email just a few hours after this incident. It was sent to all residents reminding everyone of our outdoor deck and hot tub hours and policies. Since this incident occurred, additional signage has been placed in three areas directly surrounding the hot tub. Lastly, we added a physical lock and also now conduct a physical walk/inspection via our front desk and/or service team on the hot tub area entrance door nightly as to deter future occurrences of a late night disturbance. I'm sorry to hear of your issue with smoking in the building. If and when an issue arises, please contact the office directly and immediately so we may handle at the time. The best way to catch any issue is right away. Any confirmed smoking violations that are caught are issued first offense $500 fines. Repeated offenses will lead to lease termination. Again, I'm sorry that you are displeased, but hope that my team and I can make your experience positive throughout your residency and turn your 1 star back to 5. Alta Grand Central has been an amazing place to stay. The amenities are top notch with 2 gyms, a beautiful outdoor seating/grilling area, and a pool. The lobbies are always clean and the staff has always been nothing short of kind and welcoming. I have loved my time at Alta Grand Central.

This has been by no doubt my favorite apartment. I absolutely love the amenities. I love my unit. The maintenance crew is the nicest group of people I’ve ever come across. Everyone here is very nice and professional. I love printers row so the location is perfect and yet still quiet.

I have renewed my lease despite the rent increase because I truly believe Alta Grand Central represents what home is, to me. The amenities are top tier, the maintenance staff is ridiculously friendly and professional. They work very hard to keep our home clean and safe. A beautiful building in the perfect location right in the heart of the city. The staff (leasing/management, front desk, maintenance) are always warm and welcoming, and it feels like everyone in the community has been kind and friendly (ex: most people will actually greet you in the elevator instead of just having awkward silence)

Great place to live! The amenities are incredible and the location is second to none, especially if you have fur kids. Management and entire staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I leased sight-unseen, and the entire leasing staff was very helpful, answering all kinds of questions and recommending the perfect unit for me. I love it!

I recently toured with Nik at Alta Grand Central and absolutely loved it. First, Nik was excellent, truly phenomal. He answered all of my questions, gave my mom and me a very comprehensive tour of the apartment, and made the apartment feel like home. Second, the apartment is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very spacious, the amenities are lovely, and the people are so nice (during my tour many residents said hello and or waved). The entire staff has been so kind. Nik, Jasmine, and Anna have been so accommodating and patient. I am very excited to live here! I toured 12 apartments during my visit and I am very happy that I chose this one. I can't wait to move in.
