When I first viewed this property I was very excited to move in, but all changed the day I moved in. Day 1 on move in day, I came to the leasing office and they informed me that my apartment was never supposed to be leased to me and they haven’t even gone through the final inspections for me to move in. Before coming I had spoke with someone in the office and I was informed that the apartment was ready, but it was not. During all of this I had already given them my security deposit of course and I had already paid for a U-haul and movers to move in my things that day. As an inconvenience they gave me a reserve parking spot for a full leasing term. As grateful as I was about the parking space, it still resulted in me loosing a lot of money between my U-haul and paying my movers. Also when I went to pay the first months of rent, i noticed that my renting portal was never restarted. I had the previous tenant bank information on the portal so when it was time to pay rent it attempted to pull from there account and not mine and it put me in NSF. After explaining that to the leasing office , they advised me that it was nothing they could do and moving forward , for this leasing term I could only bring them a cashiers check to pay rent. A few months later my truck was almost towed because they forgot to document my vehicle information down in their system concerning the courtesy parking spot they gave me. I didn’t receive any apology or anything from the office. They just came out took a picture of my plate and walked off. Currently a few weeks ago , I had a leak in my bathroom from a maintenance order they did not properly handle. I contacted the emergency maintenance 5 times and nobody came . I had to put a towel over my head to use the bathroom for over a week while water continued to leak. When the maintenance office finally responded , there alternative instead of prorating my rent, they offered to give me a vacant apartment to go use the bathroom. I told them yes, but after further thought I realized that is not safe especially walking into an unlocked property by myself any time of the night. Someone could follow behind me into the vacant property. So I went to a relative house for the week. Nevertheless my over experience has been completely horrible which is sad because the apartments are beautiful, but it is not worth the headache I’ve had to deal with regarding this apartment complex management.
Application process was easy, love the proximity to shopping centers; space was clean albeit a couple drains were clogged and light fixture going out; overall very nice community and living space, people are friendly and love the community activities that are held often
I love living at Alta Croft! The complex is nice, it's in a great location, and the staff are very friendly. It's a quality complex and I've had no issues in the time I've lived here.
professional friendly staff great customer service well kept grounds only complaint i have is i been l8ving her almost 2 and a half yrs and asked at least 4 times for the soap despensor to be fixed at the carwash . and as of today 11/7/24 . still no soap. its a part of the luxury emenities that i pay for monthly. I have to drive away from the premises and spend extra money elsewhere that i would rather utilize for at least my personal parking space. Other than that its a Great safe community to reside in.

Alta Croft is an amazing apartment complex right off of 485. What makes it even better is that it is a Greystar-managed property, so I know that I will always be in good hands. My apartment itself is amazing. I stay on the first floor, which has high ceilings. It's a beautiful design, and all of the appliances that they use are energy efficient, so I save a lot of money on my electric bill. It's great overall, and I would highly recommend it.
Living at Alta Croft has exceeded my expectations! The team has evidently taken the time to think through the smallest of details that make living here such a comfortable experience. The complex and individual apartments are clean, spacious, quiet, and well designed.

Love the staff, attention to meeting my move in needs. Alta Croft is perfectly located with easy access to University Research Park. Great access to highways 485, 85, and 77 to downtown Charlotte. Love the Luxer One package lockers, Yoga Studio with On-Demand Classes. Outdoor Fire pit, Dining Area, and Courtyard with Adirondack Chairs.

Great if you’ve got the money. The apartments are new, nice, and clean. The staff is friendly and prompt. It’s not the most cost effective solution out there, but it’s a great place to live.

Alta Croft's management staff is the BEST ever! The maintenance team makes sure to quickly handle all service requests in a timely manner. Our amenities include everything you can think of along with monthly events for us. The property is well kept. I've lived here 3 1/2 years and have no desire to move. Come join us!

From a distance this community has nice appeal . After living here there is some ( not much ) to be desired . Management has changed hands quite a bit . Most amenities are broken. Outdoor TVs, dog wash, car wash is car rinse as no soap.

Hi Verified, thank you for your review. A major repair on the pet spa was completed, and we have not received any reports regarding the car wash. We are currently in the process of repairing the outdoor TV as well, so be sure to check back soon for that!
The community is in a great location and has friendly staff; however, the apartments don’t offer great noise suppression - you will hear any heavy set neighbors that live above you when they walk around and all the vehicles racing by on 485 due to the lack of sound barriers. Lastly, management still had an open issue addressing dog owners disposing of pet waste in the wrong areas.

This place is like no other place. The office staff and property manager is awesome. They have the best customer service in Charlotte. I have been to many apartment complexes and no one has shown customer service like them. The apartments are very luxury and reasonably priced. Maintenance responds quickly to any requests. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is it!!!

I have enjoyed my time at Alta Croft. Just this afternoon, the staff printed copies of a document I needed for a meeting, which saved me a lot of time. The staff is always happy to help. Highly recommend.

I’ve been at alta croft for about a year and a half now and I am loving it here! The apartments are very modern and the overall curb appeal of the complex is highly maintained. The office staff especially the property manger Amy is AMAZING at what she does. She does everything she can to maintain our complex to make it feel safe and like home. The maintenance crew Charles and Nassir are the sweetest and if you ever need anything with your unit they are quick to help! The amenities and club house are well maintained and useful! Lastly, location location location! Everything is conveniently located such as 77 & 85 and there’s many grocery stores, retail and restaurants nearby as well. Overall, I love living here and will probably renew my lease for another year! ??

If I was allowed to get a decent night of sleep, I might be more inclined to rate this property higher but the lack of response to my obnoxious upstairs neighbors has been frustrating to say the least. I absolutely would NOT recommend Alta Croft to anyone unless they want be miserable. I have dozens of videos of my upstairs neighbor's dog barking in the middle of the night or them stomping around. I have gone in and complained multiple times, sent emails, and called but no one wants to fix the issue.
We have been living in Alta Croft for about 2 years now. We love our space and the amenities are great! The location is perfect because it is close to the highway and close to food restaurants and grocery stores. Our concerns while living here have been noisy neighbors, the almost constant smell of weed, and people leaving out there trash during the non-pickup days, leaving a malodorous smell in the hallway. However the leasing office and maintenance staff works well and responds quickly to concerns and tries to handle the situation to the best of their ability. They are very polite and professional.
Had A/C give out on us on especially hot 4th of July week . We contacted Maintaince emergency line and they answered quickly and addressed the situation in a timely fashion. Appreciate the diligence on keeping us safe and comfortable
I have been so happy living here. I’ve signed for my 2nd year and don’t plan to live here. Front office is always responsive to any issues and maintenance is always fast to handle any requests I put in.

I absolutely LOVE this complex. The leasing staff is amazing and extremely attentive to your needs. I'm new to the city so safety was a big priority for me - knowing that 2 police officers live in the complex provides so much relief. I also love the fact that we're only minutes away from shopping and restaurants.

I have been searching for the perfect place to move in to for a couple months now, and I wasn't really feeling the experiences I was getting at other apartments. Until I made a visit to Alta Croft. My first thought of the community was, WOW! This place is BEAUTIFUL. When I walked into the office I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. It already felt like home. Then I met Jade, the leasing agent. Jade is such a GEM!! She made me feel so special, like she actually wanted the best for me, my family and our new home. I was shown a few different floorplans, then received detailed information about the community. We passed by a few residents along the way of the tour, Jade greeted them all by name, and you could tell they were happy living there. I truly hope Alta Croft will have the right unit available when I'm ready to move.

I came in with a friend to tour the apartment and I was amazed. I wanted to move in instantly. Jade was such a big help and cheerful. The tour was a great experience. Jade is very interactive with residents residing there as well.

I've lived here for nine months, and this is by far my favorite place I have ever lived! The apartment is in such a good location and is kept very clean and I feel very safe here. The amenities that Alta Croft offer their residents is unmatched. 24 Gym is Life , Brodrick the office staff is the absolute best! He is so friendly, helpful and professional and always brings a smile to my face. The apartment offers community events that are so fun, and they listen to residents and always let us know whats goes on in the community. I would recommend to a friends and first time renters!

We are looking for temporary housing because our home will sell quickly per our realtor. She recommended Alta Croft because she has a friend that lives there. She told us about the epic resident events. Needless to say we set an appointment to tour the property and her referral didn’t disappoint. Honestly the resident events sold us because we like to stay home so this is perfect. Everything looked new instead of seeing wear and tear from previous owners. I loved that it was move in ready versus we can fix that before you move in. The apartment layout is nice. We can’t wait to make this our temporary home.
