Property Ratings at Align Apartments
Once Lourdes left, this complex has become awful! Kids leave rocks, bikes, you name it in the parking spots for you to drive over/ move and no one does anything about it. People park too close to the driveway so, say a prayer getting out of the complex that you're not going to get into an accident because you can't see anything- again, no one does anything about it! The landlord has switched twice in less than a year since Lourdes left. They start a project with maintenance and then forget they were doing it, and then LEAVE the problem for the next landlord and for the tenant to then desperately try to explain to the new landlord that they are doing the same "slap a bandaid on it" cheep fixes, the last landlord tried. We, personally, have had MOLD in our ceiling since our last landlord due to the upstairs neighbor's water heater breaking- 8 weeks of an industrial grade humidifier because they "forgot" to pick it up (you pay for electricity so- they don't care)They told me for months that they "just needed approval" to fix the leak, mold etc. Nothing. Meanwhile, they are advertising left, right, and center about their new, upgraded apartments, and I have been expected to pay my rent in full and on time all through this nightmare. I've never been so happy to turn in my notice to move out! Sure, they look pretty when you move in but, they don't care about anything but making their money once you're locked into the nightmare. DO NOT MOVE TO ALIGN!!
I have lived in these apartments for the last 6 years. The management just keeps getting worse and worse. They take forever to fix anything that is wrong with you apartment. When I say forever, it took them 2 weeks just to replace my kitchen lights! When asked for them to come and fix my bathroom heat lamp I was told they do not do that and was told I could go purchase one and replace it myself if I need it. Management is rude and clearly annoyed with helping their residence, they also rarely ever answer the phone. Also, I have been doing month to month for about 6-8 months and have been paying the $200 extra month to month fee. When I called the office on July 3rd requesting to sign a 6 month lease I was told there is still a fee for not signing a year lease and that it was too late in the month to sign a lease anyway..... (I'm pretty sure you can sign a lease on any date with apartments - when you move in and sign a lease they don't make you wait until the 1st to move in.... you sign the lease and move in whenever your application is approved and fees have been paid). Either way, these apartments have been a headache the longer I've lived here and it is definitely time to look into moving to somewhere more prompt and resident oriented. I 100% would NOT recommend anyone rent here. I do not know what resident that I interact with that is happy with these apartments. ~~~A current, unhappy resident.
This is a place you can call home. Mrs. Lourdes and her staff are amazing at getting things done and keeping the property together if you are looking for a place to stay Align is the place. Thanks for everything Mrs. Lourdes and staff. Carla Duke
We are so excited to move into our new home! We just recently got approved and can’t wait to move! Lourdes (management) has been so amazing through out the process! What sold us is the Events she throws for kids! We have two girls so it’s so important to us that they love our new home as well! Great location & lots of parking!
The current manager, Lourdes, is amazing. She is always available, friendly and resourceful. She pays attention to residents needs and has an amazing maintenance team which keeps the grounds immaculate. They are attentive and responsive to any of their residents needs and make sure that the environment is safe and maintained. If you are looking for a place to call home, where you can relax and know that you are cared for, respected and taken care of, this is it. Align apartments is very lucky to have Lourdes on their team and we are thankful for her.
I just renewed my lease here. The office manager Mrs. Lourdes is awesome she makes sure all residents are happy and that everything on the property belongs here from cars, to people. Maintenance is rarely needed but when it is they come in and get it done. If you are looking for an awesome , safe place to live with an all around awesome manager and maintenance team Align is the place.. Playground and swimming pool... Love this place. Keep up the good work you guys and thanks for keeping this a clean, safe, place for us residents.
I started here when it was Crystal Pointe Apts and the management was not so great. Shady characters hanging out in parking lots, strange vehicles always around, kids running wild without supervision, lights in parking areas and entry ways broken and not replaced... since New management of Callibrate and the new manager Lourdes and new maintenance staff this place has had a face lift and operates smoothly! Kids are well behaved and supervised by an adult, no one congregates that doesn't live here, apt/community rules are enforced (no more walking they clouds of smoke just to exit my building). They have installed safety lights above all staircases, fixed all broken lights I parking areas, cleaned up around the dumpsters, and plan on repaving the parking lots this week. It's conveniently located for me to get to work in Tacoma by traveling 509 and avoiding Hwy 5, nice atmosphere, Lourdes always says hello and knows your name. It's a community more than just an apartment complex.
I am a new resident here at the Align Apartments. Another complex actually suggested that I come here. When I saw the apartments I was very pleased with how well it was kept up. I am so glad I chose Align apartments to be mine and my sons new home. Lourdes, the office manager has been great since day one. Neighbors are very friendly and we couldn't have made a better choice to continue our journey than here. Thank you all.
I am so discussed by the way I have been treated at this property! The management is completely condescending and unproductive. They refuse to answer the phone and even by email the responses are scares. They behave as if you are to please them and not the other way around. The police were called on me because I told the manager "Patricia" she is hired to be working for me as a resident and not the other way around. She was so insulted by this that she called the police and asked them to trespass me from the office. Seeing that one, the police thought she was completely irrational (his words not mine) and two, that I am a resident on the property, they refused. There has been 2 murders at least 1 fatal accident and numerous, I mean numerous incidents were there has been police involvement. There is a security person who is to monitor the apartments at night but I have only seen him 3 times in the 2 years they have been monitoring the property and only after horrible things have happened. There has been continuous car break-ins and a few apartments. In the 4.5 years I have lived at this property there has been 5 managers and they seem to be getting worse. When this last manager took over my keys were missing from the office (which would have never been discovered if I had not locked myself out) and It took 3 weeks to change only the bottom lock on my door. They finally completed the lock change after an additional 2 months. Honestly I can go on and on about this place, the fact that they have one maintenance staff with 100 units or the ridiculous regulations that were not included in your lease that they try to force on residents but I think I've said enough. I have such a bad taste in my mouth from this place that I will not even live at a Trinity Property Management (the property management companies running Crystal Pointe) again in my life. Hopefully this helps.
