Alexander Heights Luxury Senior Apartments

The apartment, at first seemed lovely. However, it has come to my attention that not all pay the same $ for things, ie: all inclusive..I am charged $175./mo, others, $150/mo. When I asked why, I was told that when they renewed and/or moved in, there was a"special" going on...not true,I checked. The common areas are pretty good, when a tenant needs maintenance, it can take more than 1-2 days to be taken care of :case in point, my carpet was coming up from the strip, the "office" wrote a request, it took 1 month to be fixed! There are few activities and "specials" offered, the gym equipment, although "rented," doesn't work correctly a lot of the time.The parking lot and sidewalks aren't maintained in bad, winter weather, there are not enough parking places and not enough handicapped (I pay $50./extra/mo to have a car port so I'll always be able to find a parking space)..I have a handicapped placard, but not enough handicapped spots, so, therefore my paying $50./mo. There is a waiting list for the available handicapped spaces. I could go on and on...not enough space..this is difficult, as the complex is a 55 complex. Lease is out end of March, I will not be renewing..(plus the charges will go up)..am attempting to locate an apartment in a safe area and one that I can afford. esp, since I'm 71 and a widow and not in great health!. It'd be a miracle if I was chosen!

I have visited this site several times and is the best in the area. All amenities are excellent and the office staff is awesome, so helpful and friendly. The site is a beautiful and quiet site and would be a perfect for anyone who is looking to live in such a setting. I am hoping to move in September. Again, simply the best of all the rest.

the staff is what makes this place so great.i work and the time i am at home is very limited..The pool is my favorite but the time that i can spend in it is when all the little kids have taken over.I think there should be a limited time frame for kids

I moved in last month and absolutly love it. Everyone one is so helpful and the girls in the office are great. I will definately recommend to my friends.

I just listed my home for sale in NH. I have family in the area and decided to look into a 55 and order facility. I just drove by the community and saw how pretty the grounds were and decided to take a look. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I was happy with all they offered amenity wise and the price was very good compared to other placed I visited. I love wildlife and when I saw the ducks in the pond as well as a deer with her baby! . I was extremely impressed with just how nice the apartments were, very spacious and well maintained! I reserved my apartment right away. I can't wait to get settled in.

The apartmnents where good size and price was good. The staff that showed me around treated me like an old friend. The staff and quality of the apartments is why I will be considering Alexander Heights as my next place to live.

I live in Fredericksburg and have been looking for the perfect place so my parents would be close by to me as well as doctors and entertainment. A friend of mine at work told me about Alexander Heights and to tell you the truth, I thought it would be just like all the other places I looked at. It's important that when they move, they have a place they feel as home. I brought them by the office this past week to tour the community. I really can't say enough about how professional and kind the office staff was. The residents even stopped us themselves and told us how much they love living there. The grounds were beautiful and the buildings and grounds were immaculate! Needless to say, my parents felt welcome and can't wait to move in! Thanks for making this very important decision such an easy one.

stopped in to take a look as I am moving to the area Jan next year. I loved the apartment I was shown. it was very spacious and priced to my budget.

Stopped by the office yesterday and the office was very nice. They are very kind. When I sale my house, I will be back to get an apartment. Next door to my grandsons Drs office.

When I found AHA, I had been searching high and low for a community for elderly folks without much success. But here is where I will stay. The staff and amenities are awesome what with a salt water pool, rec rooms, spacious apts with all appliances and built with elderly people in mind. The place is very quiet both in the apts and outside being far enough away from I95 for it not to be a problem. Additonally there is easy access into and out of the community. To say that I am entirely satisfied with the community and its location would be an understatement of the highest magnitude.

Very nice community. Excellent amenities, pool, grill, billiards room and the activities are lots of fun. We have sing along nights, bingo and wine tasting just to mention some things. The staff are outstanding. The apartments are very spacious and the buildings are secure and make you feel safe. I recommend to anyone looking for an active adult community.

I currently live at alexander heights and love it. folks are so friendly and my apartment is beautiful.

I am moving to Alexander Heights in September 2013. I was hooked the first time I took a look. Both ladies in the office were very pleasant. I was served Lemonade and cookies upon my arrival. I was treated very well indeed! The apartment I choose is spacious and I look forward to moving in. Great place!

I stopped by looking for an apartment for my parents. the girls in the office made me feel most welcome and took the time to show me the community. This will be my first choice when my parents are ready to move.

Alexander Heights has the best customer service in the area. I toured several communities before making my final decision and the ladies in the office were very professional and delightful!!
