Located between the Willamette River and I-5, Keizer sits along the 45th parallel halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. Just three miles north of Salem, Keizer is a mostly residential area with a slew of businesses, restaurants, cafes, and shops scattered along River Road North.
Decidedly suburban, Keizer exudes a small-town atmosphere equipped with a welcoming community. A bevy of annual events brings the community together in Keizer, including the Iris Festival, Festival of Lights Holiday Parade, and Summer Concerts in the Park as well as regular minor league Volcanoes baseball games.
