Let me start by saying that I have lived here almost two years and I love my apartment and all the staff here are amazing. Maintenance is on top of any repairs needed in my apartment. I love the walk ability of the location. Unfortunately, Agave has lost some stars due to the loss of amenities such as the 8th floor bathroom being on lockdown only able to use it by checking out the key fob from the front office. Removable of the community fridge from 8th floor outdoor kitchen area was a bummer. The TVs around the property have not worked since the day I moved in. The door into my hall has been damaged for at least 6 months or more and not repaired even after multiple requests to have it repaired. The garage is now available for public parking on the top two floors allowing anyone to enter and gaining access to residences cars and halls with doors that don’t close properly.

Love this complex so far so many awesome amenities, close to everything downtown & Southtown. Feel safe in complex, love the riverwalk access.
I’ve been living at Agave Apartments for less than a week. When I first moved in, I noticed a few cockroaches, but the management responded quickly and sent pest control to handle the issue. I really appreciate their prompt response. The apartment itself is comfortable and the location is convenient. I hope there won’t be any more similar issues moving forward.
My 1.5 years of living at Agave has been a decent experience so far. STAFF -professional and nice -maintenance team is quick and through LOCATION -the best thing IMO -walking distance of downtown areas COMPLEX -outdated -the elevator doesn't work at times -Airbnb, which I did not know. I do not like the concept of apartments being used as hotels. AMENITIES -nice but many items need maintenance -our clubhouse had a recent renovation that I personally felt was unnecessary PARKING -visitors/guests regulations not respected -towing is not enforced as it should be -changes are currently being made with a third party company SECURITY -multiple theft reports -random access due to broken entry points -lack of protection for personal property (i.e. cars) -ongoing issues at times COMMUNITY -noise is not that bad IMO -residents are welcoming -events bring a lot of social interaction I have enjoyed my stay overall but the management, communication, and security needs to be better.

Great location in Southtown and downtown for exploring local neighborhoods and restaurants and the riverwalk, both the scenic parts and the touristy parts.

Love the location! Still concerned about security measures, but glad that no break ins to cars have happened recently. I suggest weekly or regular property walkthroughs so issues as exterior doors not locking are addressed as soon as possible

Agave Apartments strikes the perfect balance between style, comfort, and location. The pool feels like a resort, the gym is top-notch, and the staff is responsive and kind. I love how peaceful it is while still being walkable to great bars, cafes, and galleries. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a modern, welcoming home in San Antonio!

Moving to Agave was a great idea. We are uniquely positioned within walking distance to all downtown areas as well as Southtown! It’s really wonderful location. We love how Melissa and Charlene love our pups every morning and jazz them up for the day. The leasing agents and maintenance crew are quick to respond take care of anything that needs attention. We can’t wait for the new electric car chargers to be installed. After that, five stars!

I've been living at Agave for a while now, and overall, I would describe it as a decent place to live. There’s nothing particularly outstanding about it, but at the same time, there’s nothing really problematic either. The apartment itself is functional and gets the job done. The amenities are adequate, and maintenance responds within a reasonable time when needed. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, and I haven’t encountered any major issues with noise or disturbances. I have really enjoyed living here over the past 16 months. The property has a lot of nice amenities and the location is perfect for walking to all the great events that San Antonio has going on. The staff are all amazing, especially the maintenance staff, they are always friendly and quick to respond to any requests. Tony and Lana at the front desk always go above and beyond to ensure that your living experience here is excellent. I can’t say enough about the staff here as they really make you feel welcome and at home. The community here is very friendly and I think all the community events bring all the residents together. Our apartment is bright and up to date. One of the largest in square feet you will find in this price point downtown! I appreciate the add ons that are available, such as on site storage and reserved parking spots. Over all, I can’t recommend this property enough. Overall, a chill place to live depending on where your apt faces, lol mine faces the street so the passing cars could get annoying sometimes, but nothing too bad!

We love our unit and location that it’s at. It is noisy at times but I suppose that’s to be expected. The parking situation continues to bother me. It’s obvious that when events are happening downtown, people sneak in to park because it is hard to find parking.

more like a 4.5 star if i could. been living here for 3 years. amazing location, gym is great, nice pool, maintenance is quick and efficient (shoutout to JOE specifically you are awesome) biggest inconvenience has been the elevator being shut down BUT i will say ever since they switched to a different elevator service company it has been MUCH less of an issue. also live on the first floor so it’s not much an issue for me. covered garage parking is neat, ofc the caveat is it’s first come first serve for first floor parking. don’t have a bug problem, the occasional beetle or roach sneaks in. soft water system is great to have. don’t have an issue with noise from other units, usually. have gotten used to the street noise tho. place is usually kept pretty clean, i get my packages. the weekly food trucks are cool. the coffee in the club room is genuinely very good too. rooftop patio/deck is really awesome and you get such a nice view of the city. cool place, very much enjoy living here

Management is timely with fixing broken items. Lots of mail (USPS) and package theft. A lot of car thefts/break ins for how much I pay for this place

Staff is very helpful. Apartment complex is safe and enclosed. Neighbors friendly. There are maintenance issues and wish the turnaround was quicker. ETAs on when maintenance will be by so I am available to receive them would be much more helpful. I do not always like the idea of someone coming in when I am not around but I do understand that they have their own schedule.

I love living here great location. Very walkable area close to a H-E-B. Multiple options for driving in and out of the area. Pet friendly. Happy about amenities being fixed and updated. Maintenance staff is fast to respond to any issues in our apartment. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Community events are a lot of fun. Food truck on Thursdays are convenient. Lots of amenities such as multiple grills, pool, fully equipped gym, pet run area, rooftop hang out, quiet courtyard, outdoor T.V.’s and hang out areas. Lost a star from issue that need to be addressed. Multiple entrance doors are constantly not working properly. Need better garage security as multiple residents have reported car break ins over the past year.

Agave is a great location and super walkable for nightlife and other activities. Management is amazing and very helpful with anything you may need. Maintenance is also quick to assist with concerns or repairs you have!

Staff has been friendly, especially Tony. Maintenance is quick to come in fix anything. Great views from the building. Love access to the river walk. I enjoy the weekly food trucks. Only removing one star because the garage door on the 5th floor has not been closing properly for 2-3 months now. Also, I hear of a lot of car’s being stolen and broken into since I’ve moved in. Overall I feel safe and comfortable in my apartment.

We really like it here. The apartments are great, we have wonderful neighbours and the area is the best we could find for a young couple in their thirties.

I’ve been living here for a while, and overall, I’m quite pleased with my experience. The location is fantastic—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it very convenient for daily life. However, I have to mention that the hallways could use some attention; they often appear dirty and unkempt. Additionally, some of the amenities don’t seem to be well-maintained, which is a bit disappointing.si
Everything so far looks great I’m just waiting to move in I’m nervous that Once I move in, that might change, but Tony was a great help giving us a tour of the place
Everyone is friendly for sure! I would love more community events! The only thing that sucks is that its not as clean, the hallways and elevator areas seem dirty and they smell bad because of the trash.
Love the location, amenities and vibrant life around the riverwalk. The gym is amazing and it’s nice knowing my vehicle is safe in the private parking garage.
I enjoy being a resident at these apartments have been living here now 2 years and look forward to possibly being here a few years. Management has been nothing but good to us and the activity’s they plan for us residents are very much appreciated. Food truck Thursdays are the best I appreciate not having to cook for a day. I like the hotel feel and service. I’m new here but it is a nice experience so far Really like the staff especially one of ours Tony here at Agave.
I really enjoyed my tour of the property. The staff are fantastic to work with and the apartment floor plans are great. The fully equipped gym is extremely convenient and the views are pretty fantastic.
So far so good! Toni was super helpful and we are excited to move in! The place was reasonably priced , had great parking situation, amenities, and environment. ALSO such a great perk having the riverwalk as a backyard!
Apt AC was broken for over 2 days and I sat in 90 degree heat in my own apartment. Had to contact 3 times. They finally fixed and no explanation why it took so long. Thank goodness no heat stroke.
Need to have a more present maintenance person, hallways stay consistently dirty, elevator is missing handles, flashing bulbs that need electrical repairs in common areas, view is great but pretty lack luster apartment.

Love the location and all the amenities. Sometimes the neighbors aren’t so great making it difficult to be comfortable. The parking rules are not enforced which is very annoying. I hate getting home from work and not being able to find parking because people that don’t live here park here.

I have enjoyed living at Agave and in my opinion, the best perk is the location. You have the Riverwalk and Southtown within walking distance. The residents are welcoming and fun so the community is close. Unfortunately, the complex has an airbnb program and the security is not the best. I love the color aesthetic of my unit and the layout.
We love the community and the convenience to river walk. The staff is very accommodating as well. The only thing I would change is, having extra long trucks that don’t fit into a parking space correctly, park on the 7th or 8th floor.

It's so great to just walk out the door and be right on the RiverWalk, close to fabulous restaurants, and right in the midst of all the San Antonio festivities. In fact we love it so much that we are leasing our own apartment!
