I did a tour today and the nice lady in the office that helped me was really informative. I enjoyed my tour, haven’t moved in yet but definitely planning too.

Came to see the property staff was nice even the maintenance was professional I’m still deciding if I will live here but it was a welcoming environment

The staff here are very nice & professional. They stay in touch with me during the process of the application, sufficient with follow up calls, explained each step throughly, and the best part, I moved within the same week applying. Every time I stop into the office they are extremely helpful and welcoming. All maintenance issues are resolved quickly and the staff is knowledgeable. I would highly recommend living here.

I am SO impressed with how quickly the application and move in process was! The whole process literally took 24hrs for us! Brandon was so incredibly helpful and friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. The apartment is nice, our 1 bedroom is spacious and comfortable. We are so excited to become apart of the Afton Oaks community! Would definitely recommend for those having to move quickly or unexpectedly!

I've been on this property for a long time. I've been in and out of the office trying to get a situation regarding charges to my account rectified since April. Since the new manager has arrived, I was able to get it done within 24 hours. I've seen managers come and go here fairly fast hopefully the new manager that is here Keisha can stay and continue to make a difference!!

I have lived here for over 4 years because it was all I could afford and it was close to work but it was TERRIBLE decision. My apartment flooded multiple times, ruining my belongings and none of the flooding was my fault. I was told I would be given a new apartment months ago and it never happened. My apartment has appliances that are older than me and never got replaced or fixed. Finally I reached the end of my lease and I was overcharged by at least $100 and now I am being told it will take a month to get it back. This is a mess of a place to live. I do not recommend it.

Run from this property. Noise, drugs, mold. A week to fix a stopped up sink. Just terrible.

When I moved to Afton Oaks, for the most part the stay was peaceful. Most of the staff are extremely rude. The assistant manager has one of the ugliest spirts on this side of the earth. no updates are made but the price increases and work orders go unnoticed. These best thing about this property is the location. other than that you can definitely find somewhere cheaper with better staff. Moving here should be your last option. All appliances are outdated. The racoons are out of control and most nights you can even sit on the porch but bats are flying around.

Dont move here if you care about your credit. I lived there 3 years payed my rent on time every month. When I moved out they sent my info to a collection agency with out trying to contact me first. No one tried to help all I get is there's nothing we can do. All the appliances are 30 to 40 years old and disgusting. Extremely thin walls and no cameras around for protection. I was robbed at gun point in the parking lot in front of the office!!!! The rent goes up every single time you renew and they do not do any updates or upgrades. Even when you ask they tell you no.

This apartment could be better if they updated the appliances, bathrooms, and cabinets. They keep raising the rent but never updating anything. nice area very convenient to major attractions in Baton Rouge but they leave a lot to be desired.
I've lived here for 5 years. The rent started at $670 and now has risen to $750! for a one bedroom unit...It's an old apartment but the outside is well maintained and the maintenance is really great...The staff is professional and courteous but I don't see the justification for the rate increase....I'll be moving at the end of my lease term for a similar apartment complex that's $100 dollars cheaper and it's the only way to get new carpet lol
We've been here for 3 years with no plans to move because we really like it. The property is very well maintained, the staff is great, problems are fixed quickly, and the rent is really reasonable (for Baton Rouge). We looked at a lot of places and are very pleased with our decision.
