Affinity at Lacey 55+

When you want to wash your dog you must first obtain a key to the dog washing room and good good luck finding anyone on duty. Their Happy Hour consists of a small bag of chips and half a glass of wine. The monthly newsletter comes out well into the month so you never know what events going on. The fancy coffee machine in the Cafe only serves black coffee because they never bother to put the milk in the machine. If you order a latte you simply get plain black coffee. Really dissatisfied. I wish they would hire enthusiastic people that took care of things that matter.

I chose this property because of the amazing amenities. The game room, salt water pool, movie theater and more. Because of covid no more than one person is allowed to use each space. Ok. Understandable I guess..but what is not understandable nor acceptable is the entire place being locked up with the exception of the cafe when the staff leaves at 5 in the evening. The cafe has a coffee machine. Why is this room open but everything else shuttered? Disgusting. Everything is for the convenience of the staff. When the office staff leaves they lock every room up because I guess old people cannot be trusted when they are not around. Like many folks living here I am not able to use any amenities until after 5 because of my work. There is no reason to lock up the lounge, game room and everything but the cafe when they go home at night. Totally unfair to the residents. I can't wait until my lease is up. Also the elevators and key fobs have problems way to much. The printer has never really worked for the residents. If you consider renting here make sure you understand all the amenities doors are locked if management is not here.
