Always great!?? The Adams Village maintenance team are top notch! Always friendly! Always do a super job! The best! Thank you!
Decent place Maintenance and office responded quickly, the place was clean and in a good location. A bit pricey, but seemed worth it. Only problems were the vents leaked every summer, and there’s no buy out option to leave early. The fact that I took over someone’s lease, and someone took over mine, means no one has come to reset and fix up the apartment in at least 5 years. Lease breakers take “as is”. All in all, a solid place to live if you have the funds for it.

Issue Resolved Thanks for checking on my air conditioning. Everything seems to be working now. The only suggestion that I would make is that I get a message saying what was done. The only difference that I can tell is that the thermostat was lowered one degree. The hazard and low battery looking symbols are still on the thermostat, so I can’t tell if anything was fixed or last weekend was just a fluke and the a/c couldn’t keep up. Thanks!

Great experience at Adams Village. The time at Adam’s Village was wonderful. The club house is incredible with the pool and conference room. What a place to have access to. The maintenance team was excellent and very friendly. My stay was incredible. Unfortunately, I had to move to become closer to my job.

The leasing staff was accommodating and very kind but I’ve lived here for only a couple of days and already; one of the kitchen cabinets has fallen off the hinges, the shower drain was clogged with years worth of hair and broken, the garbage disposal was clogged with food and utensils from a previous resident and my blinds don’t work so I can’t open or close them. I love the look of the apartment but I’m getting worried. As all of this was not noticed and/or fixed prior to my move in and my dad has had to fix almost all of it.

Impressed! To be excited about a replacement toilet tank cover, probably will seem weird to most people. I accidentally dropped and broke my townhome’s toilet tank cover.?? I wasn’t sure that Adams Village would or could replace it for me; but, you don’t know unless you ask. I submitted a maintenance request on our “resident portal” with ??fingers crossed. This one is nicer than the last!!! LOL Adams Village and their maintenance staff have always been “right on” when it comes to maintenance request from me. I haven’t had many and I have no complaints. The maintenance guys are all so friendly and helpful! I’ve lived here for nearly 3 years now; and, I love it! Thanks for all you do!

The apartment was quite dirty The apartment was really dirty. The deck had not been swept or cleaned. There were dirty finger prints on the light switches and on and around the doors. The stove was so dirty one of the burners would not work until we cleaned it. The floors had cat urine and cat claws that had been shed. The faucets are rusty. There is a 4 inch hole in the bathroom that was patched, but not sanded and repainted. The water pressure is so low it is hard to shower. We love the apartment and we’re sad to give negative feedback. We only do in hopes that future renters don’t move into dirty conditions like we did.

Adams Village is an exceptional community that you could easily call HOME, a place where you feel safe, connected, and proud to live in. What truly separates Adams Village from other communities is not simply the quality of construction of the units, landscaping, location, and amenities, including the clubhouse, pool area, gym, incredible dog park, etc., but it is the outstanding people who work there. It begins with Tim Bonner, the Community Manager, who I cannot say enough good things about as a person with his sincere and genuine caring for the residents, other staff members and maintenance workers, and quite simply the entire community itself. Tim is someone who you can trust emphatically and can always rely on whenever you need him for something and is definitely someone who you should get to know. Really enjoyed my time here Moved in with my partner at the time; the facilities were very clean and modern; always had a good time at the pool, and really appreciated the service and communication. The only giant issue was the parking; it got worse and worse over the years and is now more than a headache. Throw in city parking tickets and it's tough to recommend to my friends who have friends.

A great 4 years I lived at Adams Village for four years, and it was a great home for me. I moved in really soon after it opened, and it was sweet to watch the neighborhood become warmer, more lively, and more friendly over the years. I lived in two apartments, and they were both excellent. I always felt taken care of and living there was easy; great maintenance, etc. I moved out because I'm starting a new chapter, but I really couldn't have asked for a better place to live for the past 4 years.

Leaking door sealed I submitted my request to check the seal around my patio door Friday morning. I was notified that the problem was fixed early in the day. It has continued to rain for 24 hours since the fix and I have not had any water leaking into the apartment. I’m pleased with the service.

I lived in the Mills. The front desk manager was just terrible! When it came to when I had to break my lease, he said that he could raise the price one day or decide to lower it the next day. Also, he said he could do that because there is no "cancellation fee" section in the lease and that he could make me stay in the apartment if he wanted to and not let me break it. Maintenance was terrible they never knew how to do their job. And when they did come to do their job, they would always leave a big mess and not clean up after themselves. Management doesn't care about the safety of the residents. I made multiple complaints about someone walking around looking into cars. Management's response was, "That is not our problem".

Great place but has downsides Lived here when I first moved to bloomington, the apartments are really nice and the community is quiet, but were a bit overpriced as other (just as nice) apartment complexes had larger apartments for cheaper. In addition the Mill locations have ABSOLUTELY not enough parking, it was not uncommon for me to have to park a 5-7 min walk away from where i lived, which was just annoying. Otherwise, all my matenience requests were solved super fast and with care, the leasing staff does an amazing job of communicating along with being professional and sweet. If it wasn't for the parking situation and the want for a little bit more room, i would've gladly stayed here much longer.

I have lived here for the past year and a half and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is super helpful, maintenance requests always are completed in a timely manner, the residents are friendly, pool and clubhouse are amazing, workout facilities could be improved upon but there are fitness facilities close by. If you're looking for a quiet location in or around the Bloomington area this is your place.

Adams Village is in what I think is a lovely location, I'm close to Lucky's Market (my favorite grocery store), it's down the road from the mountain bike park, it's a 10 minute bike ride to the B-Line (it would be 5 without the construction detour on Tapp), and a 40 minute ride to SPEA (I get my work out in just commuting to and from school). I have a washer and dryer in my place, which is a big deal to me and off street parking (although the parking spots are not numbered, so often we only have 1 of the 2 spots we are supposed to have outside our apartment). The neighborhood is quiet, my cat is happy, there are doggy clean up stations everywhere, and the managerial and maintenance staff are wonderful! But as a low income grad student, I cannot afford to live here after this year. I chose Adams Village because I was coming from out of state and could not come view places before signing a lease. I felt I could trust Liz, and I'm glad I did. But now that I'm in town, I'm finding there are much more affordable places around with the same amenities in neighborhoods I would be comfortable living in. The only thing I would change is the laminate flooring (the website shows mainly hard wood floors, so that's what I expected, especially for the square footage we have and the price we are paying), the lack of recycling (there is only one location where several large recycling carts are located and I have to drive my recycling down there if I have more than a few days worth to take care of), and the few big old T12 bulbs still hanging out in closets and over the kitchen sink. Oh, and I would love a printing center. I have a lot of papers to print as a grad student and IU doesn't give you nearly enough in your printing allotment, so it would just be cool to have the opportunity to print here. If Adams Village fits your budget, I would highly recommend it. Also, I think they are building a pool. So if pools are your thing, check this place out. Liz is the best, give her a call!
So much room! This 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with garage unit was impeccably clean when we moved in and the office was a dream to work with when it came to figuring out the best time to start our lease. The maintenence is quick to respond and amazingly prompt. There is nothing about this place that is disliked.

This apartment is by far the best I have rented in my 6 years of living in Bloomington, IN for many reasons. To list a few, the staff (from the office workers to the maintenance ) are absolutely wonderful and accommodating! The amenities offered when living here are fantastic as well. Also, it is one of the most spacious and upgraded 1 bedroom apartments I have ever seen. I would recommend living here to anyone and everyone.
