      Great spacious apartment

      The place is ok, but nothing special

      The place is ok, but nothing special. The main issue in the apartments are roaches infestation. And the exterminator service rarely come to your apartment. Too many dangerous people wandering around the place. Don't expect security in this place, because there's none. You're on your own. It's a good idea to have cameras installed on your front door. Many people with pitbulls around the complex, when this breed is supposedly forbidden in this place. And loud music neighbors who doesn't respect the peace of their neighbors.

      Run the other way

      If I could warn everyone to stay away from this place. The place has roaches, and when I first moved in they never cleaned the place and the carpet was infested with fleas. Several leaks from the ac unit and reoccurring issues with toilets overflowing due to old toilets led to the carpet being wet. The management made zero effort after I moved out to inform me of damages until I called several times to find out the status of my security deposit. Then I find out they sent the damages bill to collections without even sending me a bill or calling me. STAY AWAY From this place!!!!! This place deserves zero stars

      I REGRET MOVING HERE EVERY DAY.

      If I could give this a rating of less than zero, I would. This place is awful. I was excited to move here because the community seemed nice and the kitchen was beautiful in the model unit a few months before I moved. I came from out of state, and had to rent a unit site-unseen. The place was filthy, the carpet in the bedroom smelled revolting. The kitchen was not even close to what I had seen in the model. It looks like the counters and cupboards are from the late 80s or early 90’s. The dishwasher didn’t work and was filled with nasty, stagnant water. The dryer didn’t work. The bathroom floor was stained with urine and the tub/tiles were moldy. I’ve steamed the floors countless times, and can’t ever get them clean. The bottom of my feet are always dirty. I don’t even know how that’s possible. I don’t smoke, but my apartment always smells like weed, and the breezeways always smell like cigarette smoke. Very few people pick up after their dogs, so it’s nearly impossible not to step in it if you’re off of the pavement. For the last 2 months they’ve screwed up my rent and I’ve ended up with eviction threats on my door, even though I faithfully pay. The rent seems to change without notice, and they tack on SO many fees. There are multiple charges for trash every month, yet there’s trash all over the grounds all the time. There are cats and raccoons roaming through the breezeways and wreaking havoc with trash, even opening some of the trash bins. The buildings are filled with roaches. You have to watch out for snakes. There are fire ants everywhere (they seemingly do NOTHING to prevent pests). One of my dogs was swarmed by ants recently in one of the few places that had seemed safe from ants. This has been the most disappointing and angering living situation I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never had to pay so much in rent…and for a complete dump. The only positive thing I can say is that the maintenance staff tries hard - when they actually show up (which is more about the incompetent management than the maintenance crew). Don’t be fooled by their leasing promises or “we’re working on that” because they’re not. You can slap a new coat of paint on the buildings to make them look nice, but it doesn’t cover up all of the problems and poor management. I am very VERY sorry I rented here.

      Poor Quality

      If i add pictures of my apartment you would see why 1 star even before I moved in there was issues that was told going to be resolved that never got resolved maintenance sucks here horribly they take there time and halfway does the job I do construction but I don't get paid to fix problems for the big rent they charge here to fix my apartment they charge BALDWIN PARK PRICES but doesn't have BALDWIN PARK QUALITY very disappointing end the Lease 2023 after 3 years here the Quality is getting worse and the prices are going up

      Roaches, bad up keep

      Roach infested apartments. Management that doesnt care. Screen was broken when we initially moved in. Light fixtures were missing. Mailbox numbers are written in sharpie. No street lights at night.

      Rent is too high, the gym is not accessible 24 hours like stated, the street lights are always off and if you don’t stay on top of the front desk workers, they don’t do their jobs.

      LOOK ELSEWHERE! We lived at this complex between two different apartments for four years and the management has changed so many times that every time you go to the office you deal with someone new who is clueless. Have been told five different ways we were suppose to pay by different people and got charged a late fee because of incompetence (even though we paid rent faithfully on time monthly for four years). And don’t get me started about maintenance!: Roaches were a huge problem! Contacted office and put in maintenance requests for pest control, only had result 1 out of every 4 requests and it didn’t fix anything. Mold found on ceiling, contacted office and maintenance showed up three days later and PAINTED OVER IT. Packages constantly stolen because the complex doesn’t utilize the already built it package boxes and then refused to take packages at the office with the newest management. Toilet was wobbly to find out it was not properly fixed to the ground! Put in multiple maintenance requests and after moving out a month later it still was not fixed. This complex is a pig with lipstick on it: try to appeal for new customers then nickel and dime you for poor maintenance and worse management. Would give 0 out of 5 review if possible.

      Bad Management

      My A/C broke around August 2020, and it was not repaired until around November 2020. I put in multiple work orders, only to be ignored and passed down the corporate ladder. I STILL have mold in my vents and A/C closet, but the management just continues to fiddle their fingers. All the good reviews are paid for, they have promotional events in the lobby every so often, where they will give you like a slice of pizza for a 5 star review. Move here if you expect to be treated like slime.

      Poor management

      You won’t get a service when request it but they will cancel it, they won’t clean the apartment outside always smells bad. All those reviews was from the previous management team. I live here for 3 years this gonna be my last year because this place getting worst

      Great Move-in experience

      We toured virtually and were nervous but with everything being closed and the staff here was so helpful we went ahead and leased. We were so thrilled to find our apartment was just what we needed and the move-in process felt clean and easy. The leasing team went out of their way to make us feel at home!

      They tried to evict us after we paid rent. And they tried to sue us for that when we have all of our receipts. They haven’t fixed anything we’ve asked upon moving in. Worst place ever . Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

      Never live here

      Cannot wait to move out, you can find much better places with the same price range. Homeless people would rather sleep in the street than in these awfully poor managed dilapidated units.

      Do not move here, worst place ever!

      Our AC has been broken 6 times in 5 months and they finally agreed to completely replace it, that was 2 months ago and nothing has been done for it since. The roaches are a big problem and their mandatory pest control fee is pointless because their “pest control” doesn’t actually work. They never finish a project before starting 3 other and leaving all of them unfinished. I have had to send in a request EVERY month for someone to change to doggie trash cans, you can smell them from the street before even walking up to the dog park, they’re always overflowing with poop and beer cans, the ones that make it in the trash can at least. There’s trash and broken obstacles all over the dog park. There’s no sidewalks to walk on and that has made my dog so nervous, she doesn’t care to go out much anymore. Homeless people sleep in the pools and within 2 weeks around the new year, at least 4 fights in the complex. We live next to a drug dealer. Our fridge is currently broken, our food is spoiling, and they don’t care to come fix it. To say the least, this place SUCKS! I cannot wait to get out of here!!

      Poor management

      Worst apartment complex ever!!!!! I truly liked living in this location until dealing with management. Two weeks prior to my move out date I went into the office and I asked my remaining balance for my lease and if everything was clear, they said “yes you are good to move out and NOTHING is outstanding” mind you this was back in January. TODAY I get a call from collections saying I owe almost $2000!!! Stay far away from this scam of a place. They never had an issue contacting us before when we owed money while living there. I have had no phone calls or emails of any money owed after my move out date. Other crappy incidents: we had to threaten them with a lawyer to fix our AC during the summer. It took them two weeks to fix. Whenever we asked them to fix a water leak they would just paint over it without fixing it.

      Not a satisfied resident

      No option for zero stars so I selected one star....This place in overrun with roaches, they charge you a monthly fee for pest control but you have to request the service each time for them to come out and spray and cannot schedule it in advance....at least with the previous owner the pest control was preventive in nature and they would routinely spray the units which makes much better sense.....They absolutely do not maintain the units and green/common areas....the residents are pigs, they throw their waste on the ground and no one absolutely no one sweeps or picks up the waste from the hallways, sidewalks, green areas, parking and buildings .....cigarette buds, bottles , fast food wrappers etc. in many many places....no irrigation for the landscaping hardly any grass or greenery in many areas due to the lack of water, which becomes dirt or mud depending on the season....in addition residents park illegally anywhere they want including handicapped spaces without a permit...when you call to inquire on a solution or request a number to report these violations management does not return your call or email....not even out of courtesy....staff is confrontational and gives you attitude when you bring up these issues rather than communicate with residents that want to better the community and provide them with solutions....the grounds are overrun with dog poop.....the only thing they do is to send sporadic emails requesting people to pick up their waste and to park in legal spaces....no enforcement or recourse what so ever for responsible residents or a way to report violations....hurricane damage is now starting to be worked on after many months of delays...gutters and soffits missing from several buildings.....no sidewalks for residents to walk to near by stores....pedestrians in danger from traffic entering and leaving community....I am quite surprised that there hasn't been an accident yet specially at night when there is very little lighting...I could go on and on...was hopeful that with the new owners the community would improve but it has gone from bad to worse.....as icing on the cake there was a gang style murder in a near by unit in the latter part of 2017....can't wait for my lease to end to get out of here......

      My boyfriend and I just went to apply for an apartment and put down $125 To hold the apartment until we moved in and we got approved, they told us if we got denied we couldn't get the money back. So we called them says we decided not to move in anymore so they told us we couldn't get our money back. So we asked to speak to their manager Gretchen and she said the money is going to the office and basically said we were just out of luck. And when we had mentioned that her employee did not inform us that we wouldn't get our money back weither we got approved or not , she didn't seem to care and she just brushed it off.

      Worse than it looks

      I moved here because of the low rent and the fact that it didn't look that bad. Wow, was I wrong. It's SO bad. I would not live here again even if they offered me free rent. It's not safe, it's dirty, and most of the people that live here don't care about anything.

      Keep moving

      This is the worst managing of property I've ever seen. They evicted a neighbor for charges they forgot to charge. You're forced into their system, they advertised a nice apartment, and give us counter's so dirty, they stain your clothes when you lean on them. If that wasn't enough, consider the crime of the area. And we're talking the bad kind, folks. The pool area's are definitely nice; and the lake front apartments are pretty. Even their paint job on the outside makes the place seem like they are worth it. But I've seen people fighting in the street. I've seen how the passive aggressive emails, and blatant not giving a hoot, just a job mentality of the show runners. If you keep to yourself and don't ever complain, don't mind the occasionally negative email, and are looking for a fixer-upper apartment in the mid-high range this is the place for you. The actual maintenance people are great to be fair!

      You Get What You Pay For

      The rent is the best in the area, but you get what you pay for. Maintenance takes weeks to fulfill a service request. By the time they fix one thing, another thing needs fixing, so something is always broken. The parking lot is very dark at night and there are no lights surrounding the buildings. The trash area is a problem. The compactor isn't the problem, it's the residents. They have no respect. A select few are too lazy to walk up the 5 steps and open the door to throw away their trash. Once you get a few bags of trash thrown outside the compactor, the entire complex assumes the compactor is broken and dumps their trash wherever they want as well. Imagine how much trash can accumulate after a day of several hundred units worth of people throwing around trash. Maintenance does their best to stay on top of cleaning it up, but imagine how much more maintenance would actually get done if they didn't spend half their time cleaning up trash. Since I moved in, the complex has been undergoing renovations. The things they have done to the common areas are really nice, but its taking forever. They sent out an email a couple months ago saying we would all get key fobs so we can get into the gym area 24/7, but that has yet to happen. When I inquired about it, they said it wouldn't be done for a while. So, for now you can only work out during office hours. Not very convenient for those who also work during the day. Last piece of advice, get the upgraded kitchen. The old cabinets that I have are the original from decades ago. The are made of particle board, so there's always little pieces of wood crumbling of from here and there, falling into what I'm coming sometimes. There's also crazy cobwebs everywhere under the sink and behind drawers. I should mention also that it's nice how much storage my apartment has. It even has outside storage. Though, I put a lock on my outside unit because I'm on the bottom floor. Don't think those screened porches will keep anyone out. Someone in the adjacent building had theirs broken into a week after I moved in. You definitely get what you pay for though. I could have been across the street in a completely renovated/upgraded apartment if I felt like coughing up another $300/month.

      its ok place to live, if you have kids its good because in good school area and the complex has a lot of kids to play with. pretty quite and everyone is pretty friendly. Office staff could be a lil better and getting thing fixs wants about 2-3 weeks and that's a downer.

      Good Neighbourhood

      The complex has good employes, service and recreational spaces, such dog parks, and playgorunds for a good enverioment. I love and enjoy my stay at Auvers Village. When we talk about prices the rent rates are amazing.

      Good place to live

      My husband and I moved here in April. The maintenance guys are extremely friendly and always make a point to say hello. The pools are very enjoyable and we just got a bunch of nice pool furniture/tents. Our apartment itself is great. We have a 2 bed/2bath and have plenty of space. Brand new carpets and good sized closets (tons of storage space on the patio closet as well). The kitchen is a little on the small side as far as counter space goes. The dog park is a new addition and we just love it. For the most part it is a pretty quiet community, with the exception that I am pretty sure that we have elephants living above us (you can hear the kids running back and forth down the hallways and jumping off furniture). Despite some noise at times I don't really have anything negative to say.

      Good experiences for the most part

      When I got to the apartment to move in the apartment wasn't ready but the office staff paid for me and my dogs to live in a hotel for 2 days and paid for the extra days of my uhaul. The staff bent over backwards for me at move in, even when my dogs were suffering from heat stroke, Pedro jumped in a helped them drink water and get back to normal. The apartment is beautiful. Only complaint would be the walls are thin and the people above us are very loud but otherwise I love it.
