You'll be just a few steps from the beach, with shops, a grocery store, and restaurants a short drive south in Crystal Beach. Getting around is easiest by car, but the beach is easily walkable. Mosquitoes can be prevalent, so bringing bug spray is recommended. Please rinse sand off at the outdoor shower or hoses after visiting the beach and leave sandy shoes on the deck. Do not flush feminine hygiene products or anything other than expected down the toilet to protect the septic system, and do not pour grease down the drains.
