Property Ratings at 9920 Apartments
the mang. and maintenance people do not want to work. they have shut down - Free Weights, Billards Game Room Gated Community Club House Swimming Pool Business Center On-site Maintenance Hot Tub and they want to blame it on the Covid-19 when the reality is that they do not want to be responsible for the amount of people in the room. So all of the amenities that they say they have are just a lie yet you pay for them. There use to be this really great manager but she is gone and so has the honesty and integrity. do not believe any one thing they tell you..
The ladies in the office are very rude. I have ran into a few hiccups since moving in and they are no help or are sympathetic. Anytime I try to communicate with them all I get is attitude. I do not feel welcomed to come to the office and this does not feel like a home to me. It also seems like they are retaliating against me whenever my kids are outside playing. We feel very harassed. Since moving in, we have gotten nothing but disrespect from the office. When I go talk to Lauren the Manager of the complex, she is nothing but rude and has no respect for us. I posted a review on their page and Lauren did not like the review so she deleted it.
Lived here for one year. Overall, pretty happy with my time. The apartments are a great value. Very roomy garages for every unit, no upstairs or downstairs neighbors, roomy patios and lots of storage. Appliances were very high-quality. Staff was friendly and maintenance requests were resolved in a timely manner. Grounds kept up decently well. $7 Uber ride to Westgate. Two dings: some of the clientele--drove through the complex at all hours of the morning (really, 1-4AM on weekdays) absolutely blaring trash music and were generally inconsiderate. Second, wasn't happy to be surprised by a $120 e-bill after move-out for carpet cleaning and replacement (with no explanation provided), considering I used my own carpet cleaning machine before move-out and left them in immaculate condition, on top of requesting a pre-inspection to ensure a surprise "cleaning charge" wouldn't happen. SO CLOSE to 5 stars, 9920, but it's unfortunate that my last experience with you was getting nickel-and-dimed! Overall though, military-friendly and a nice place to live.
I am in my early 20s and have decided to rent here for my first apartment. At first glance the apartment is beautiful with amazing amenities, but do not let that fool you. The whole staff is awful accept for Demi. They are all rude and do the bare minimum to help you. I broke my lease here due to a new job relocation and I am so glad I did, I could not imagine dealing with this staff for much longer. When I broke my lease I had many questions like anyone would and they seemed so bothered to answer any of them for me. Once I was fed up I asked my mom if she could speak to them seeing that maybe I am young and they had little respect for me but nope, they gave my mom even less respect then they showed me. My biggest issue was they wanted me to pay to get the carpets cleaned once I moved out, as far as I'm concerned they is there duty for when one tenant moves out to allow another one to move in, and to make it even worse they wanted the money to come out of my security deposit, and no where in the lease does it state that I am responsible for cleaning them. This is just the beginning of my issues, my sister and some co-workers also live in the building and have RAT problems. They were asked by the complex to keep it on the hush and that this is a new problem for them. But as I am reading past reviews I see many tenants have had this issue. I also have nats constantly flying around my apartment. The washer and dishwasher consistently smell like mildew. And the noise from the other tenants is unreal, kids are constantly running up and down the hall way. Overall a low class staff with attitude problems that clearly do not care about there property anymore than they care about there tenants.
I’be been living here for a year and Inam very impressed with my apartment and the community. It is nice, quiet, and safe. And having a garage is a wonderful bonus!
This is the worst apartment I've had the misfortune to live in since college (and that's saying something). Here are my observations: Roaches: the place is infested with sewer roaches. They are everywhere, including coming up through the drains in the apartment. When you complain about them, they claim their pest control service is going to do a "special treatment" for them, which doesn't do a thing about the problem. One of the maintenance guys even told me that he rags on the pest control guy about what a bad job he's doing. I asked about roaches before I moved in, and the manager lied to my face about it, saying they didn't have a problem. They even have the nerve to charge you for pest control on your monthly water bill! Parking: There is always a parking shortage for guests/people with extra cars. Right now they have built a new building in the complex, so people are parking there, but of course, as soon as the new building is occupied, there go those spaces. Noise: There are a lot of low class tenants with loud cars and no manners. The types of noise you'll hear: loud cars; car alarms; noisy, unruly, unsupervised children; loud music. There's even a four-wheeler looking thing being driven around the complex that is lawnmower-engine loud - I call it a white-trash golf cart... haha! If you ignore my advice and lease here, I'd suggest keeping the drains in your apartment plugged whenever they're not in use. That's what I do until I can get out of here!

I consider these luxury apartments, they have attached garages and are multi level on some. It's gated but lately the gate hasn't worked properly. Lots of ants. Smells like weed a lot but thats kind of inescapable at this point. Very quiet clean place, parking sucks so make good use of your garage! Hope this was HELPFUL :) been here 1 year two different unit and unit sizes.
These apartments were originally built as Condos so the construction of each unit is superior to your average apartment. Dual panel glass, outstanding insulation all contribute to lower utility bills and excellent sound insulation. All units have attached garages. The closets could be larger but are sufficient. I live in the smallest one bedroom units but it is layed out very nicely. There are a full complement of nice appliances in black and the stove and oven run on natural gas. Garages are huge. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and this is a gated community. Close proximity to Arizona Cardinals stadium and Wesgate entertainment district. Overall a very nice place to live.
