On the first floor of our three story house, brand new, two-bedroom apartment, with private entrance and patio. Ensuring your comfort, ALL APARTMENT SURFACES ARE DISINFECTED. The interior is replete with high end finishes of stainless steel appliances, granite counters, luxe towels, and soft, comfortable bedding wrapped up in classic modern interior.THE SPACE Just 3 blocks from the Max line, public transportation and freeway on ramps, our guest house sits on a quiet tree-lined street. The 850 sq ft dwelling is roomy enough for a family of five and is outfitted with everything you will need for your Portland stay of two days or any length of time. When you arrive at our historic bungalow, there is ample parking on the street and the driveway is also available. The entrance is at the end of our driveway. Walk through your private furnished patio to the front door entrance of the guest accommodations. Just beyond the front door, you will come into the entry way which is equipped with a bench and coat rack for your things. From the entry way, you will see the kitchen, breakfast bar, comfortable living room with sectional seating and ottoman (stocked with board games), and LG 4k SmartTV with wifi access and doors to the bedrooms and bathroom. Across from the kitchen, you will find the washer and dryer. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other bedroom with two twin beds. Both bedrooms are bright and cheery. Perfect to four adults or two adults traveling with two children. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer, and basic toiletries making your week or weekend stay in Portland complete with everything you will need. Each bedroom has new insulated windows, closets, comfortable beds, nightstands and lamps for night-time reading. The patio is private and outfitted with comfortable furniture to enjoy your morning coffee or at the end of the day you can kick up your feet, light the chimera, have a glass of wine and relax. We have a weber barbecue if you want to grill. It frequently rains in Portland. Help us keep our home and your home away from home, clean by removing your shoes before entering the apartment. We love our neighborhood, it is a place where neighbors are respectful of each other. This is a priority for us. Please be courteous when coming in to the guest house at night or early morning. There are many amenities the historic Laurelhurst neighborhood has to offer that are all conveniently within walking distance. There are plenty of unique coffee shops, food carts, micro brews and restaurants including the nationally recognized, award winning, Laurelhurst Market. Just 4 blocks away, walk to the beautiful Laurelhurst Park, our mini Central Park, as designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead, the designer of Central Park, New York. You can easily visit salons and gift shops or walk to the trendy neighborhoods of Hawthorne, Belmont and Division. The Hollywood Max station is within 4 blocks of the guest house and public transportation is right down the street.
