This is for one room, available August 1st, in a five bedroom home in North Portland St John's area (4 other housemates). Recently refinished kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. This room is in the attic, accessible by a spiral staircase. The room is mostly furnished, and it's unlikely additional large furniture can be added, or be accessible up the staircase. Rent is $650 per month, plus $150 utilities (flat rate, includes gigabyte wifi internet). Total payment each month is $800. House gas fireplace, onsite free washer/dryer, dish washer and gas range, central heat & AC, walking distance of restaurants & downtown St Johns, and the #4 and #16 bus lines. Two miles to University of Portland. No pets. No drugs in the house. Ideal housemate is clean and quiet. Typical housemates are young adults that go to school or work (house currently has three males). No gender preferences. Finding people that I think we get along with everyone else in the house is very important. I generally interview several people and get a feeling for the right person that fits in with the others in the house and pays rent on time.
