About This Property
Hi there! I will be renting my bedroom in this two bedroom apartment from May 1, 2024-July 31, 2024, as will be doing doctoral research abroad. This is a great timeline for students wanting to be in the area to explore other apartments, for those considering Theory’s building, or for those remaining in Syracuse briefly after graduation. This apartment is located in Theory, Syracuse, which consists of students (mainly graduate and medical students), medical staff, university faculty, and more. The complex has many wonderful amenities, including: -a well equipped gym -bright and spacious conference rooms -two outdoor patios with fire pits and a jacuzzi -a coffee bar -comfortable common areas -a game space (with pool tables, foosball, etc.) -night time security personnel -a shuttle that transports residents around SU and Upstate Medical University -package pick-up/drop off spaces and a mail room The complex is extremely safe, and it is very clean. Property staff are very welcoming and friendly and know most residents by name. Maintenance staff is also very friendly and respond to any concerns usually the same day (depending on urgency). The complex consists of a great community of individuals who are warm and inviting. The apartment where you will be staying is a two bedroom/two bath (en suites) with a comfortable living space and modern kitchen. The living room comes with a 55 inch smart TV, a couch, chair, and coffee table. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances/tools/cooking utensils you could want including: an oven, dishwasher, stove, toaster oven, insta-pot, blender, microwave, can openers, spatulas, silverware, pots and pans, wine glasses, storage closet with washer/dryer, cleaning supplies, etc. The bedroom has a very large, modern, en suite bathroom, a huge walk in closet, a desk, chair, a queen sized bed, extra large windows that allow in a lovely amount of light, a floor lamp with shelves, two sets of stackable dresser drawers, and a ceiling fan. You will be sharing the apartment with a wonderful Ph.D. student at SU, who is extremely clean, kind, and generous. He loves to cook and often loves to share! He is completely respectful of the space and rarely invites over guests. He is generally quiet and works in his room but also enjoys friendly and engaging conversations. The ideal renter would be clean, kind, and respectful as well. Please contact me with any questions!

Located five minutes east of Downtown Syracuse, the lively neighborhood of Eastside provides residents with all the convenience of city living but at a lower cost. The community is home to Syracuse University, but Eastside itself has blossomed into an exciting destination in its own right.
You may find many groups of college students hanging out on Marshall Street, as this road is lined with several cool shops, bars, restaurants, and coffeehouses. Nearby Thornden Park’s expansive green space touts numerous sports fields and recreational facilities. At the southern end is a rose garden, dotted with hundreds of gorgeous blooms in a variety of hues.
When they’re not at their Eastside apartment homes, students and locals alike could be rocking out at a concert at the Westcott Theater. Residents take comfort in the medical centers in the area, and enjoy a round of golf at Drumlins Golf Course in Syracuse.
