About This Home
This is a 1st floor coach house 2 bedroom apartment steps from the UIC Library and the UIC East Campus. It has central heat, central air conditioning. Fridge and Stove. Coin Laundry machines on premises. leased till the end of July. Probably one of, if not the, least expensive apartments this close to campus. Apartment is occupied so I require advance notice to them to show the apartment please contact me to arrange to view this apartment. Tenant will pay for natural gas for heating, cooking, and water heating for unit as well as any internet, phone, or TV services. A bonus is that electricity is paid by owner on this unit as the laundry and basement lights are on this account. Available for one year lease. To avoid scams and issues, I do not lease apartments sight unseen by prospective tenants, you must come to view the apartment and approve of it before leasing. Cats allowed. All adult occupants must be on lease and must pass a back ground and credit check.
This is a nice and clean 2 Bedroom 1 bath apartment very near the UIC East Campus for a very reasonable price considering it includes electricity. You probably will not find a less expensive apartment nearby. This is a small coach house apartment on the first floor, meaning that their are two buildings on the property and that this is the back building. The apartment features central heat and air conditioning. The apartment features 2 carpeted bedrooms, laminate flooring in the kitchen and bath, and tile in the bathroom. The apartment includes Electricity, water, sewer, garbage. Tenant will need to set up service with Peoples Gas for natural gas for heating, hot water, and cooking. Tenant will also need to contract with any communication service providers such as cable TV, internet, and telephone. High speed internet is available from several providers in the area. The bathroom has a shower and no bath tub and is small in size, so if you are looking for a huge luxurious bathroom this may not be the unit for you. Additionally, the front bedroom, while not tiny, does not have a closet. All prospective tenants will have to pass a credit and background screening at applicants expense. Available at an equal opportunity to all on a first come first serve basis. We do not hold apartments, apply only once you are sure that you want it. Only one application or set of applications will be processed at a time, so that no one is paying an application fee or being screened who will not be offered the opportunity to lease if they pass. The apartment is occupied till 31 July, so call to arrange a showing. We require applicants to have viewed our apartments in person before we will accept an application from them or rent to them. We will rent to anyone who passes the back ground and credit screening.

A college town housing the University of Illinois at Chicago, University Village is a bustling neighborhood just two miles west of downtown Chicago. With a lively student population, there’s a wide range of apartments and condos for rent in the area, varying in expense. University Village is just minutes from everything downtown has to offer: Shedd Aquarium, the Art Institute of Chicago, Grant Park, the Chicago Theater, and so much more.
A National Historic Landmark and a true representation of Chicago’s history, the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum is a must-visit in University Village. This house and museum is a dynamic memorial to social reformer Jane Addams, the first American woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and a hero to the Chicago community.
Vibrant restaurants reside around town, popular with residents and university students alike. Visit the original polish sausage stand, Jim’s Original, for a classic hot dog stand experience, or venture over to Lalo’s on Maxwell.
